    Are the new Butterick and New Look Spring Patterns at your local Joann Stores? 🤔 They aren't on the website yet! But check your stores; they may be available. Comment below and let me know what you plan to purchase! Happy sewing! ❤

    I also have large biceps. I don’t let any pattern intimidate me. I simply cut in the middle keeping the length straight. It works every time.

    I just told myself (again) that I don't need to run over to Madame Joanne's house, because I have plenty of patterns I haven't gotten to. And I'm a slow sewer...But we all know by now that buying patterns is a whole separate hobby!😄 I do want a camp shirt like the first pattern you showed, even though I know I can use a shirt dress I already have. I'm sure I'll see Madame J soon. 😊 Thanks for the inspiration.

    Thanks for another awesome video! New Look 6751 might be a reprint of Butterick 6051 and New Look 6756 looks a lot like Mccalls 7131.

    Tea, that N6751 I didn't even see that one. that is a totally good one for me for the summer. I need to find it. We talked about this, crazy how so many are re-issues of older patterns. Like my Mom says, if you've never seen it before... it's new to you!

    • @crumpetsteaandsewing
      @crumpetsteaandsewing  Год назад

      Yes, that N6751 is a little nice summer dress pattern. I had to pick it up. Although it's basic, I don't have anything like this. It will be a nice change for me

      @@crumpetsteaandsewing Some days, thats all I want. A quick simple pattern that I can do a few times over. I have to pick it up tomorrow.

    I went through my stash and found a lot of the NL patterns are re-releases of other brands patterns. They are not out of print and still readily available. I'll be returning the NL patterns with the exception of one.

      Exactly! They should at least wait until some of these patterns go out of print.

    Thank you for your information and reviews. Very helpful. Wrap dresses for me need to have C/D cup patterns so none of these would work for me. After watching your video on the Cashmerette Roseclair dress I made one and the bust fit is amazing. Delighted with it!

    • @crumpetsteaandsewing
      @crumpetsteaandsewing  Год назад

      Yes! That Roseclair is superb! I love cup size patterns! They are definitely big bust friendly.

    There were some re releases for sure. It was stuff that is on trend again too from a few years back. Like the cropped puffy sleeve top, the various wrap dress and wide leg pants.

    I really like the way you present the new patterns. You don’t go into long drawn out explanations of them. You present the picture of it. You say a little bit and move onto the next. I do have to say I didn’t see anything that I didn’t already own. Nothing too inspiring.

    i'm not crazy about the reissues but if they are going to do it, i wish they'd be more upfront about it and tell us (list on the pattern: reprint of McCalls 1234). i hate the idea of buying something only to find out later that i already have it. is the wrap dress with the collar woven or knit? do you remember?

    • @crumpetsteaandsewing
      @crumpetsteaandsewing  Год назад +1

      The wrap dress with the collar is woven. I totally agree with you. They should definitely tell us when a pattern is recycled.

    Hearing how much these patterns are similar to others will help me avoid FOMO since I can't purchase anything right now. The N6758 actually looks a lot like M7757 which I purchased in my last haul of patterns. But the McCall's has 4 top variations.

    • @crumpetsteaandsewing

      I see that now. Wow. They are definitely trying to get more money out of us.
