That was a great short! I do hope you make more P6 vids , may be a vid about how to sample - I just got my P6 yesterday- so fun goofing off , right out of the box - fun. But wow….. there is a lot to learn. Your vid helped ALOT! Thank you!!! 2:41
Absolutely great Job . In seconds you explained everything. Others need 45 minutes to do the same. Well well done.... please continue doing this. Many thanks and regards from " Chris Bunch of flowers music"
Thankyou for your videos on the P-6 :D It's helped me alot but I am now stuck in that my unit does not remember the patterns that I program in. When i restart the unit, what I have programmed on that particular pattern is lost. Do you have any advice please? many thanks,
I have it getting a message END I don't get it I got rid of loads of samples to see it it wax memory can't even start a new pattern ?? Any ideas what's happening 😊
I love it. This a very helpful tutorial. It's going to take me a long time to get capable with it though. You need a 150 IQ to get effective using the menu structure. Adding your own samples via the cable using very specific button holds at start up is a laughable process.
I was really keen on getting one. Until I realised it's virtually just a looper. And that you can't chain different pattern sequences. It just loops the same pattern over and over..... a little disappointed tbh. Oh well. I'll just stick to my op-33 for now.
Great to start with the p-6. Please do part II, III, IV.... until use all the features.
Noted!

🥂 thx for watching!
🙏 thx for clear points esp re mute pads live. Many vids overlook practical aspects & focus on sampling, granular etc
Always a pleasure
I just realized today I can use the onboard effects of the P6 to process the in-mix audio signal ! This unit is even crazier than I thought 😱
Yeah it’s very clever for sure
what a lovely piece of kit
Lots packed into this tiny thing!
can you explain how to get rid of the beat that is already loaded on when you get it? i want to make a beat but this is an obstacle
There must be a factory reset option in the manual
@gc.bricks I press and hold Shift, and the note B on the sequencer. Underneath it should read ALL and it should clear the beat pattern.
Just ordered mine from Kraft. It's nearly sold out in other places.
Woah- surprising

Thank you for sharing! Can You run Koala through p-6 and use p-6 as effects processor - like people do with sp404?
Both usb audio and audio in?
I don’t see why not!
Where can you plug in an external microphone into this?
Into the ext in 8th in jack

If you chop a sample on one track, can each slice level be ajusted? And pitched?
No. You can repitch the entire set of slices, you might be able to trig lock them too, but the slices themselves are static
@@Gdxgzbut level of each slice can be adjusted?
Thx for filling this in!
I have an Sp 404sx , do you think the P-6 would be a good upgrade ?
Go with the sp404mk2 I think the p6 is cool but more for people who never used a sp404 before
Not quite- in your case I’d pick up the sp-404 mk2
Exactly
Dude, tell me, is it possible to record samples and then play them via a MIDI keyboard? Thanks!
Yeah you can do that
Cool.. Thanks
Pleasure 😊

Hmmm not 100% sure on that one
@moogaudioshorts I think I may have figured it out using to many automation and too many steps I think there's limited memory
total new guy to this , you metopes longer samples or loops , I forget , but could you demo those ?thank you

It does make for a great idea starter- and if you chain patterns together you can push it a little further
I thought you can set different drum sounds on each note and pattern sequence that X0X style, how is that a looper ?
He's talking about no pattern chaining on P6 and no project or song mode @@snörre23
