    I feel like you could play the beginning of this piece in a high mass church and no one would notice it was Viva La Vida

    I don't understand why such a well known group garners such a small amount of likes. I personally love almost everything on this channel!

    This is a fun piece to play. First time I performed this was with the Jollyville Brass in Austin. Definitely a favorite of mine.

    I'm doing this with a couple of friends for my high school. For our quarter grade, we have to do one of these for the class. I'm a trumpet player and I was wondering if any of you had some tips for making this song sound better. We are all really into music so we want to make this sound as good as possible.

    I'm playing this for a convention with my brass quintet and I gotta say I love the piece, but playing 1st Trumpet is difficult 😂

    I feel like the trombone would've worked better as a euphonium. But that's just me.

    • @jessebrook1688
      @jessebrook1688 2 года назад

      I don't think that the current trombone player ever doubles on euphonium.

    I think the tempo is slightly too quick. Sounds great though

    Where's the melody, why is it just the chords and background chorus?

    • @okonh0wp
      @okonh0wp 8 лет назад +4

      yeah, I think they're basically background vocals. Perhaps that's why they feel more comfortable uploading this then theire good stuff

      It's based on Coldplay's "Viva La Vida," which means it wasn't an exact cover, and frankly this sounds much better than the original.

      I’ve been put the whole thing on Musescore and I plan to add more melodic lines to the trombone and put the cords from the beginning at the end to make it a more slow and meaningful end

    I'm struggling to pick out the melody... I just sounds like the same thing over and over. :(

    • @marshall3711
      @marshall3711 7 лет назад +13

      There's not really supposed to be a melody, it's supposed to sound like the song and the song repeats a lot

    Why do you keep re uploading this?

    • @ANF97
      @ANF97 8 лет назад +2

      1st re-upload was for the updated thumbnail.
      2nd was due to audio-video syncing issues.

      Sorry Jackie, we had an issue with page turns timing correctly with the music.

    This is good, but doesn't really sound too much like Viva La Vida. Just playing chords with the rhythm.

    I bet Chuck Daelenbach gets pretty bored of the modern song arrangements. at least with the classical stuff he regularly had a melody or something interesting to play
