41 Seconds is not enough: bravo for the upload though!
Elliott McCombe, é realmente lamentável que tenha sido gravado apenas esse pequeno trecho para ser inserido numa cena específica do filme, mas mostra a incrível interpretação de Suzanne Murphy para esta belíssima aria. Thanks.
@Evie Samora, the song is a fragment of "Son Queste Le Speranze" from the Salieri opera called "Axur, Re D’Ormus

Bravo signore!

If you live to compare yourself with others you will always be pitiful of yourself and you will be setting yourself up for failure. Mark Twain said “Comparison is the death of Joy”, don't lose your joy by comparing yourself to others.
mozart i can not think of a time that i did not know his name

Thank you so much!!!! I have been looking for this version for years since I saw the movie@@albertosilva4443
Is this audio an actual track on the CD? Without Salieri talking and without the applause afterwards?
I have a version of the 1st DVD of the film that was sold here in Brazil that has an option with the audio track without the dialogues. I just captured this track and edited it.
@@albertosilva4443 You did a wonderful job with this, Alberto! As far as I have been able to tell, this is the ONLY place that we can find these pieces that were not issued on the soundtrack albums. Thank you so much!
That wasn't Mozart, but was very cool too.
Meu amigo, na descrição do vídeo eu falo de quem é a música. OK?
What’s the piece name?

Title of the opera?
Video description
Is that her real voice?
Actress Christine Ebersole is voicing the real singer Suzanne Murphy
It's not so bad. But next to Amadeus, well. That's the point of the story.
Actually, Salieri's operas were considered among the finest at the time of their compositions. Thanks to the popularity of Amadeus, Salieri's works are seeing a grand resurgence, as people are no longer seeing them as something inferior. I own many CDs and there are a few where Salieri pieces are mixed in with Mozart's, and I'd be lying if I said I noticed a great drop in quality. I can tell a Mozart piece, because I'm familiar with Mozart's touches and his special tricks, but I don't think Salieri is beneath him, at least when it comes to opera. Mozart and Salieri were both great in that they had a deeper understanding of the voice, than later opera composers.
I liked my friend salieri's operas very much so!
This is very good, no need to demean it.
