This was the video wad the best I could find and for anyone with a 2014 Nissan Rogue Select, this is the process to get to the blower motor. I know other newer models you can get to the REAR of the motor from the passenger side, which is the easiest way to access it compared to having to drop the whole brake and accelerator assembly. Thanks so much for the video!

just wanted to say thanks for your video....I tackled this project on Saturday and was successful! I had watched 3-4 long form YT videos on how to do this and this one was the one that provided the help and tips needed to get it done....your good explanation of how to get that frustrating nut off the top of the metal bracket, as well as the tip and video of the pin holding the brake pedal on, helped me finish the job. As a note to anyone watching this and reading my comment, if you have a 2009 Rogue be aware that the blower vent nozzle that is pulled off with a little force in this video won't work on a 2009. On a 2009 that vent nozzle has a longer front size piece that is not shown in this video..and that arm is attached with a philips head screw. It is very difficult to get to it unless you have small wrists like me (which I usually hate ;) )...you have to take the side center panel off (right beside the nozzle and reach your hand way up in there to get to the screw....just wanted to let you know that before you keep pulling to get that nozzle off to the point of frustration and break something.....great video!

I was just told to just go ahead & take mine to the dealership by Hibdon’s because it was going to take at least 3 hours of work & they don’t do that type of work there. This after they had my car a day & a half without looking at it! I already told them what the problem was! Guess will wait till it warms up & do it myself! Thanks for the details.

I replaced the blower motor and the blower motor resistor in my 2015 Nissan rogue select because it got stuck on full blast and it was rattling and making a really loud sound even when the air was turned to the off position. It fixed my air / ac problem and it worked great..About 2 weeks later it just stopped working again but this time it won’t even turn on at all. Thoughts?

What year was the Nissan Rouge featured in this video? I am working on a 2014 Rouge Select. Every video I've seen, and any information I found on Google all allude to the fact that the blower motor is on the passenger's side... After poking around for a while, I did finally locate the blower motor on the drivers side (just like in your video). I'm perplexed. I'm going to order a new motor anyway and pray that it fits once I get everything taken out. Thanks for the video. It really helped point me in the right direction. =) btw I am certain mine is a busted motor because the motor will kick on briefly and very weakly whenever I give it a few good bonks with a long screwdriver.

Dear RUclipsrs, I can confirm that the repair in this video is the exact same for a 2014 Nissan Rouge SELECT (not sure about other models, but definitely the 2014 SELECT model). The reason I'm posting this is because I had a lot of trouble finding the proper repair video. If you have a 2014 SELECT, this is the video you need. It only took me about an hour in total to swap out a new motor by following this excellent video. NOTE: if you're having trouble getting the motor to rotate counterclockwise to get it out. I was able to take the second black tab (the tab just to the right of the tab that has the screw in it) and bend it back towards me with my finger. After that it came right out! Good luck, it's not that hard of a repair. You guys can do it!... ONE LAST THING: You do not need to remove the hood release cable, as shown in step one of the video. You can just remove everything around it and leave the hood release cable attached to the plastic then CAREFULLY move it out of the way. Just try to remember to not slam the door shut on it! =)

This is my exact problem with the same vehicle, 2014 Nissan Rogue Select. 90% of videos/info I've seen says passenger side. I'm gonna trust your comment since it's the only thing I've seen/read that actually confirms location on a 2014 Select. It's a lot of work to find out it's the wrong side

Is this location also true for a 2015 Nissan Rogue Select? From what I've seen, models with the climate control (thermostat) must have the motor in the passenger side (this video is the only one I've found w/manual control). Selects are more "base" model; my daughter's was a former rental. We took the dash apart on the passenger side and the motor wasn't there. We had already replaced the resistor (a real PIA in the driver's side) and it didn't solve the problem. Before I tear into it, I'd like to know if the motor in Selects is accessed from the driver's side.
