I remember working at Toys R Us when this movie came out. A lady old lady asked me for my advice of what Spider-Man toy to get her grandson for his birthday. I I showed her various Spider-Man toys in great detail and she asked if I was a big Spider-Man fan. I said yes and she asked me if I knew who she was. After a few minutes I realized it was Rosemary Harris.
Kieran if you're reading this congratulations on the weight loss. You look more confident and happy. Also cleaning up the beard looks great. Now Tony is no longer the most handsome on the show
The first Spider-Man movie blew me away when I was 10 years old. I saw in the theater and I loved it. It is one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time. It had the origin story of Spider-Man done right. Tobey Maguire will always be my favorite Spider-Man.
I've been watching this in a local coffee shop with my headphones. I've been laughing so hard throughout this that I'm crying. I'm getting some weird looks. lol
This episode was perfect 10/10 haven't sat and watched a review this long in awhile without needing a break this is my 3rd time and it gets funnier every time
This went off the rails about half way and by gawd almighty it was great. Another quality review, don’t know if I’ll be able to watch this again and not think about Aunt May vigorously brooming
Good job by Kieran with the reference to a lyric in the song 'Be A Man' by Randy "The Macho Man" Savage at 4:59-5:02. Good job by Justin for making references to the song 'Be A Man', as well at 47:17-47:21 & 47:06-47:10... Whenever you can reference Randy "The Macho Man" Savage & his 'Be A Man' album like what Justin, Kieran & Tony did at 47:00-47:24, that's enough to make me happy & put a smile on my face.
Native Kentuckian here, which is where Ale8 comes from: 1.) Everyone here calls it "Ale-Eight." I've never heard anyone call it "A Late One", even though that is the technical name of it. I've even toured the plant, because I'm a nerd, and they call it "Ale Eight", too. 2.) It was called "A Late One" because it was late to the soda drink craze, not because you have it at night. Thanks for coming to my TedX Talk.
Ah yes. The legendary tale of Pitapak and his deceased Uncle Peng. I love the scene where he knocks Fess the f*** out and gets crooked back from all the crime fighting.
Was the song 'What We're All About' the song that Tony, Kieran & Justin were talking about at 49:42-50:26?... Also, I don't remember hearing it in the movie & the first time I had ever heard of it was when I down-loaded it off of LimeWire & put 'Spider-Man' as the name of the album.
I'm fucking crying 1:15:14 for the best story Tony has ever told I cannot believe that is a reality we all lived through but also Kierans reaction is gold
Make Spider-Man 2 and 3 a combo episode, please! Have Justin watch 3 because I'd love to see this trio debate how great 2 is versus how awful 3 is, plus Kieran says he likes 3 and I'd love to know WHY?!
3 is a good movie that was botched in the editing room. The marketing made it look way different from what it was supposed to be, so it's fair that people were disappointed, but the theatrical cut is still better than the first one, just not as good as 2. The editors had no idea how to maintain consistent tone and pacing, but the script and performances are all there.
well yeah its not a late one until you mix it with alcohol. also wikipedia disagrees: Ale-8-One, known colloquially as Ale-8, is a regional ginger- and citrus-flavored soft drink, distributed primarily to brick and mortar retailers in Kentucky.
1:50:15 In KIERAN'S head, Tony is Electro from Amazing Spider-Man 2. "He would never shut up about how he's Spider-Man's friend and Spider-Man saved him last week."
What was Kieran talking about, again as far as the C.G. around 1:27:00-1:27:18, exactly?... I'm confused. I've seen 'Spider-Man' so many times & I still can't tell what it is that he's pointing out.
Hack The Movies- I think the guy you were talking about around 10:56-11:13 from 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park' was Richard Schiff... I haven't seen the movie in a long time, so, I could be wrong. He's the one that gets devoured by a T-Rex, I believe... Am I missing something, or, am I getting names mixed up?...
In regards to what Tony said at 33:36-34:00, I never would've guessed any of that--literally... I thought the vast-majority of the shots for Wayne Manor in the mid-1989 'Batman' were filmed elsewhere. Who would've ever thought that there would be a tie-in as far as a Spider-Man movie & a Batman movie, somehow?...
imagine if Peter Parker had none of the wit and brevity he’s known for and instead bantered by just cussing out villains with brutal savagery and absolutely 0 cleverness lol. it could be interesting lol.
Love the channel. Was there before this version of movie rewiews and applogoze if I dont like videos because I always forget and listen to these when im walking. Keep up the good work!
About 1:37:32 I always thought that in superhero comics and movies you follow the hero and see all the crimes they stop, but we don't see all the crimes they don't stop. Like, after all it's just one guy patrolling the streets, you'd only get caught 1 time out of 10, and the movie only shows you that one time. Sure, a hero in the city is a good deterrent and would cause crime rates to go down, but still for any given criminal they have a higher chance of not getting busted by the hero. Some stories actually do start with a successful robbery or murder, with the story then focusing on its aftermath, or they focus on the hero stopping a criminal ring that went on for a while, so that shows you that crime in general is still successful.
There’s a cat food named 9Lives. For years I would stock it at work and all that time I thought it was called Glives. One day I sat there looking at the label and figured it out. Blew my damn mind. I even called someone I was so shocked.
I find myself coming back to the "furiously m#%@$^@!$¿ .. " bit from this video a couple of times a week, whenever I need to remind myself that life can be really, really funny sometimes...! LOL YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
The cage match thing really depends. The "escape the cage to win" stipulation was a relatively newer WWF stipulation. Old school AWA and other such cage matched were usually just a match inside the cage. The problem I have with that scene is the spider-sense just totally stops working.

Can we take a moment to appreciate how healthy and happy Kieran looks
He’s like a new man. It’s inspiring
I miss hairy kieran
He looks great. Justin is also in this video
@@MrWalksindarkness nah that’s not Justin it’s the Refreshing Old Man duh.
@@MrWalksindarkness Justin always looks good. A body etched from marble

Dude/Dudette, that's a great story :)
That’s awesome
My 5th grade teacher tried to cut through a film set in New York and ended up running into Tobey Maguire doing Spiderman 3
RIP toys r us
That’s really cool!
"Aunt May gets her walls blown out by the Green Goblin" had me crying. Kieran is pure gold in this episode!
Omg that's so dirty 😭
Agreed!
…..lmao
Better her walls than her back.
@@Non-Giving-UpSchoolGuy once you go "back", you never go back!!

This is easily my favourite episode so far.
It even mentions Species.
Kieran had me in stitches.
This is a great review!
You can tell how much fun Tony, Kieren, and Justin had talking about it.
One of your guys' best reviews, imo.
"Stop yucking someone else's yum." You guys are on a f'ing roll this episode! 🤣🤣🤣
24:05 the way Justin feels about uncle Ben, is the same way how I feel about Jimmy Fallon.
Wow😳!
I've been watching this in a local coffee shop with my headphones. I've been laughing so hard throughout this that I'm crying. I'm getting some weird looks. lol
Special Guest Appearances on Hack The Movies -
Toby Mcguire 1:12
Andrew Garfield 25:29
Tom Holland 2:17:33
“I didn’t have frosted tips” 😂😂 55:53
Kieran does the best Macho Man impression I've ever heard. Lol
*Mary Jane gets attacked in the alley*
Spiderman: "Hey, are you guys banging in the alley?" *finger guns*
"Yeah man... we're just... BANGIN in'da alley!"
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I'm dying 🤣🤣🤣
Lmao 😂
Justin: yeah I'm not looking at it
This is the funniest episode you guys have ever done! My sides actually hurt that 1st grade play story broke me 😂😂☠️
Same here I haven’t laughed so many times, this episode is hysterical lmao
These last two episodes have been great! Keep it up Tony! Seriously one of the funniest hack the movies I’ve ever watched!
This is your greatest episode❗️

Justin's reaction, well lack thereof, when ''Tobey'' and ''Andrew'' ''flew'' into the store and across the counter is priceless.
I always felt Tobey didn't get the love he deserves for Spiderman, I really like the first one.
2 hours left with Kieran, Tony and Justin? Talking about Spiderman? Good stuff.
Saw this in theaters while on a date in high school......
She broke my heart shortly after.
1:52:18 This will be known as one of the greatest moments on this show.
Jessica responding to the comments with text reminds me of the few MST3K episodes where Cambot does gags. Love it :)
46:44 that impression was so hilarius, my personal highlight of the episode
One of my favorite episodes. I miss keiren and justin in these videos.

The Tobey Maguire swing in... F'ing hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣👍
This episode is an absolute classic, by far the best line up.
towards the end Kieran had me crying laughing
"you came in a boy but you left a Spider-Man" what's an amazing joke
With great power comes great responsibly. I feel your absence in this episode was truly necessary. Thank you Newt.
Ah yes. The legendary tale of Pitapak and his deceased Uncle Peng. I love the scene where he knocks Fess the f*** out and gets crooked back from all the crime fighting.
I still laugh at Justin's impersonation of Miss Piggy around 19:43.
That was rather funny...
Need more episodes with Justin and Kieran.
What did Tony mean by "The C.G.I. is a little bit dated." around 14:00-14:07?...
I can't tell & in all honesty, it looks fine.
I must agree Kieran really carried himself here.. kept up with Tony and Justin for the first time since rental re...hack the movies beta.
Kieran is on fire in this episode! Ditch Newt as your co-host Kieran rocks!
Everyone loves newt. There is enough movies for everyone to take turns being on. Just as long as Tony is always there.
Nah Newt is funny. It’s the girls who are dull.
Newt is the star of the show, Crystal is the 2nd star, Justin and Kieran are great as well but let’s not forget it’s Newt who runs the show!
Justin is getting me to genuinely laugh out loud with the hating on uncle Ben! 😆
Love the dark humor.
Was the song 'What We're All About' the song that Tony, Kieran & Justin were talking about at 49:42-50:26?...

I’ve seen all of these movies religiously as a kid. Like I know for sure I’ve seen the trilogy hundreds of times, especially 3.

One of the best Hack The Movies Movie reviews
No one calls it "A Late One" in Kentucky. It's "Ale-8", You did it right, dude. lol
well yeah its not a late one until you mix it with alcohol.
also wikipedia disagrees: Ale-8-One, known colloquially as Ale-8, is a regional ginger- and citrus-flavored soft drink, distributed primarily to brick and mortar retailers in Kentucky.
I tried listening to the sound-effect that Kieran points out at 58:37-59:15 & I literally can't tell when it happens during 59:11-59:15...
BONE SAW IS READYYYYYYY!
He has you for 3 minutes! 3 minutes of playtime!
That’s a nice outfit, did your husband get it for you?!
Damn I was gonna do that comment
1:50:15 In KIERAN'S head, Tony is Electro from Amazing Spider-Man 2. "He would never shut up about how he's Spider-Man's friend and Spider-Man saved him last week."
Lol "gotcha" 😆

One of the funniest of the Hack to the Movies but man I can't get enough of these videos.

1:11:41 Jim Norton is so funny in his early days, especially on Tough Crowd.
we need reviews for Spider-Man 2&3 with kieran now
Fun fact : The two Spider Men who got killed were actually understudies from the spider man musical.
Spider-man Dies
Tobey Maguire 1:20
Andrew Garfield 25:40
Tom Holland 2:18:05
36:23 They didn't have white onions because of the war, the only thing you could get was those big yellow ones.
The dude with the glasses brought this video down... I'm so happy he wasn't in the Spider-Man 2 video lol.
Was that Cingular commercial voiced by Tony?!
We were like 11 when this came out 😆
You guys all seemed to really enjoy doing this. It was really comfortable and cool
Hack The Movies- I think the guy you were talking about around 10:56-11:13 from 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park' was Richard Schiff...

He's the one that gets devoured by a T-Rex, I believe...
Am I missing something, or, am I getting names mixed up?...
This has to still be the BEST spiderman movie ever.
Between this and Spider man 2. They’re both fantastic.
easily! this or the second.
Far from home was pretty good though to be honest. Imo it's right behind sm2
2:37 Justin, you have to wait for the beer to turn completely black before you drink it lol
1:47:26 Thanks Keiren for giving me my first legit spit take. Now I have to clean off my coffee table! 🤣🤣🤣
In regards to what Tony said at 33:36-34:00, I never would've guessed any of that--literally...

Hopefully, Spider-Tony can save Crystal Jane from the sinister Newt Goblin, Doc Justin, and the Sand Kieran.
I had no idea that Justin was even a Buddhist until after Tony said something about it at 44:28-44:32.
I thought Justin was Jewish.
For those who want to skip the intro, go to 0:11.
RIP Macho King Randy Savage.
2:18:12 cut! Cut! Silverman was looking at the camera again!
1:16:00 Nobody tell Kieren that Hugo Boss is still in business.
this is a second-best episode. the best episode is where Newt was absolutely wasted :)
I just found this channel through this video and you guys are hilarious and have gotten a new fan ☺️
imagine if Peter Parker had none of the wit and brevity he’s known for and instead bantered by just cussing out villains with brutal savagery and absolutely 0 cleverness lol. it could be interesting lol.
That'd be more fitting for a Miles Morales film.
I really want to see that
52:53 We will never get to hear Justin's Joke 💔
Love the channel. Was there before this version of movie rewiews and applogoze if I dont like videos because I always forget and listen to these when im walking. Keep up the good work!
This was the best one so far and Kieran is hilarious. Great job.

52:20 this is still a funny joke after all these years 😂
Haha, "Screaming like banshees!!"
That line thrilled me.
This is is probably one of the funniest of your videos. Kieran was a blast.
We need a review of the X-men movies with this crew
There’s a cat food named 9Lives. For years I would stock it at work and all that time I thought it was called Glives. One day I sat there looking at the label and figured it out. Blew my damn mind. I even called someone I was so shocked.

William Dafoe should have played the Joker! He has the smile.
He was one of the actors in the running to play Joker in Batman '89 before they got Jack Nicholson.
1:52 Aunt May furiously doing you know what…
Justin was on fire in the episode

Great episode guys. Good to see the old gang back.
1:20:37 you're thinking of voicestream
I wonder if Bully Maguire is going to show up during this review - "Tobey, when will the next Spider-Man movie get made?" "WHEN YOU FIX THE GD DOOR!"
Amazing episode. How and where did you get the Stallone cardboard cut out (last action hero)?
