@jacobnichols8800 I actually asked him for advice. I have playlist for a these reviews but I don't think people use them enough. So I'm trying this out.
"If this were the first film and they introduced time travel, then fine..." The Blair Witch Project DID have time travel, it was just executed with subtlety. The house that the trio come across at the end of the film is Rustin Parr's house; a house which was burned down in the 1940s. Furthermore, the trio's footage was discovered beneath the foundations of the burned down house, which means that it was placed there by someone, long before the house was even built.
I'd love to see a complete Blair Witch box set. All 3 movies, both Sci Fi Channel (not SyFy) mockumentaries-Curse of/Shadow of the Blair Witch and Showtimes Burkittsville 7 special, Blockbusters Sticks and Stones & whatever else they want to add. Thanks for putting all these episodes together, Tony. This really made my day.🤟
There's time travel in the original, too. The footage was found in undisturbed dirt underneath an old foundation that's implied to be the remains of the house from the end.
Lol the whole "reconstructing footage-why the hell is this in there?" really made me think of when they dub the stock music into the footage in Cannibal Holocaust
I love all three films. The 1st one was good simply because it was presented in such a different way. One could actually believe it was all real. The marketing was pure genius. The characters/actors were good, editing, All presented like a newsreel bio. How could u not be hooked. Plus the so called documentary that came with the movie The Curse of the Blair Witch. Good job on a extremely low budget. The 2nd film had some interesting characters in in plus I remember that there was a number of clues throughout the flick for the viewer to find. Interesting but the thing that got to me and gave me the shivers was when one character bedding out in the woods looked up above the trees. She saw this huge horn owl stare at her with such a evil, vile look. One could easily get the goosebumps. The 3rd had more action as one by one the camping party was killed off by supernatural forces. Plus, no daylight like they were trapped in another world as the witch tightened her grip around them. All in all a good creepy batch of films. Proving u don't need expensive special effects to get your point across. And since films like The Blair Witch and Paranormal Activity were very, very low budget flicks new upcoming film makers will have more confidence to produce their dream projects. U don't need tons of money but u do need a good imagination. And a good camera, that will help.
Tony, “In The woods” regarding the porn.. I’m dying! My friends and I actually found a “Penthouse” behind the middle school in a wooded area used as a shortcut to the local Burger King. 😂😂
I swear my best friend's older brother was pissed when I found his porn in the woods. I thought he was going to beat the crap out of me, I am not even the one that took it, I ran away because I was scared of getting lost
Lots of Italians, Spaniards and French came to Argentina after and during WWII, but also did a loooot of Germans xD my grandma was Deutschitaliener, other side fully Italian and Spaniard, pretty common around here.
I worked Campus Safety when I was a Natural Resources major in college. Campus was near a state and federal forests and is slightly mountainous. We had 100ft cliffs around for Vertical Rope Rescue training. Anyway.... we had international students get lost. Never been in woods before or a northern climate in October before. Went hiking at 6pm and finally got to a high enough peak to call 911 around midnight. This was in 2007, no phone gps, etc. We found them around 4am by driving around back ass dirt roads hitting siren and then communicating to dispatcher via radio if lost students heard it
@HackTheMovies yep, they really terrified me. I dreamed that I was running in the forest with laughter all. Around me, and made myself wake up, hadn't watched any documentary for the film, cos I was working as a barmaid during the Rugby World Cup in 1999. The wicca things, the stone graves, stick men and number 7, which is an important number in many religions spooked me out. And then watching Book of Shadows in 2001.i nearly walked out for the 2016 film, cos I thought I'd be the only person in the cinema auditorium and there was no way, that I'd watch it alone
I was a freshman in high school when the first BWP came out. My one friend was so scared, but he came with me to see it in the theater. While we were at the movie, his brother hid a bunch of homemade stick figures a la BWP all over his bedroom, great prank.
My favorite television audio edit is in the Big Lebowski when John Goodman is smashing the red Corvette with a tire iron screaming, "This is what happens when you f a stranger in the ass!" For TV it was changed to "You see what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps?" and also, "This is what happens when you feed a stoner scrambled eggs!"

I remember watching this when I was younger and around that time there wasn't the "It's real footage" thing about it. I just thought it was a spooky movie filmed on a camcorder in the pitch black woods. We had a camera like that for going on holidays and I used to shoot little movies on it, and I have a fear of the dark and being lost in the woods, so the movie scared the hell out of me because I didn't think there was a witch, but that they were lost making their film and some psycho was stalking them in the woods. I still won't walk through the park near my house at night because of how dark it is.
Great video. I was 11 when The Blair Witch Project came out. I believed the legend, when I found out it wasn't real,I thought the movie sucked. Later on I watched it again and loved it. I think a lot of people believed the legend and that's one reason why people hate it. I also enjoy the sequels.

The first Blair witch project terrified 10 year old me. Of course my house is located in front of the woods. I remember anytime I had to take the trash out or something at night, I'd haul ass to do it lol.
I found wood's porn twice. Both times the magazines you probably wouldn't wanna touch directly, were pretty gross. Hustler and Swank. I can't even type Swank without wanting to take a shower. And believe me, it wasn't, "oh, hey, reasonably hot chick in a Hustler magazine. No. They just to fill slots and get shit printed to the shelf. The screening process differs greatly in, gross porn.
