Thank you so much for watching! The four of us loved every bit of Taiwan, but I have to say the Addiction Aquatic Center & that hike were high up there on our top experiences. If you haven’t already-make sure to check out episodes 1 & 2! They're equally as delicious and fun!
@@jasonchiang251 My dude, her show is called "Travel, Eat, Repeat." Of course she's a tourist. And if there was no market for ding tai fung, no one would go there.
Loved Taipei so much! Addiction Aquatic was one of our favorite places. I had never seen a lobster swimming until I walked by one of the big tanks there.
Honestly we only watch eater for Iz Harris..Her editing and personality is out of this world. You guys should either just have her tour the world to show us food everywhere or just have her be in charge of editing the other videos on this channel as well! Keep crushing it Iz!
That's wonderful profession, i wish i was in a job where I got to travel & what a luck husband works for VOX and wife for Eater magzine. Amazing power couple . Loved the series
Wish this series came out back in April when I was in tw. I did most of the stuff you listed but we decided not to do the addicted aquatic development and now I think I missed out 😭
I am so happy that you love our country. There are still a lot of delicious food, and l hope you want to come here again. P.S. It is surprise that you are good at using chopsticks!
I’ve seen a few Eater videos with Iz... and I think this is the best one. The elated vibes she has from the lushness really transfers to me. Good job guys. I wonder if it’s also because you guys are wearing uniqlo jackets 😅 I have it too. It’s awesome.
Lol if I ever have kids that are still too young wanted to travel I would probably just drop them off at my mother’s. Props to you guys for going the extra mile and being the good parents and taking your kids along. 👍👍
The secret to AAD is their ingredients. The quality of seafood that you get probably rival some of the best restaurant in Japan. (It comes from the same sources). Same level ingredient in Japanese restaurant in US are probably only found in major cities such as LA or NYC and will cost about 5X as much per person.
its not peanut paste. it's sesame seed paste. if you like that you should try eating ma jiang mian. which literally that sesame paste with noodle. its so dirty but yummy at the same time. add chili oil!!! welcome to heaven
i just know that Johnny Harris’ wife is actually work the same as him, yeah, a journalist. it’s like the dream come true to married someone who has the same interest as you, for real, isn’t it? hope that vox watch this and do a collab soon.
I am a taiwanese myself, going to college in the US, and this video... just makes me drool. like I miss the food so much (p.s. The dim tai fun soup dumpling isn't really a taiwanese dish? idk but I feel like its more of a ShangHai Dish, but the best soup dumpling in my opinion, is the Wuxi Soup Dumping, maybe just a personal preference but idk)

I literally can't thank you enough to make such great video about Taiwanese foods and scenery, love you and thank you Iz!
sorry, "next and LAST EPISODE???" Eater, know what you have. This series and host and family and content are all GOLD.
agreed
It's not her first Eater series, so I'm hoping there will be another.
Disagree. She’s a tourist talking about ding tai fung when Taiwanese people think it’s trash
@@jasonchiang251 My dude, her show is called "Travel, Eat, Repeat." Of course she's a tourist. And if there was no market for ding tai fung, no one would go there.
I'm Taiwanese and I love Ding Tai Fung, though it does take a while in line to have a meal there, the food there is mind-blowingly good.
In addition to the food, I enjoy following your family on discovering the city/ surrounding nature. Great balance. Eat and then walk it off.
can johnny do a border episode on Taiwan - they have some outlying islands that would be great to talk about
I truly love how your voice comes thought this vlog and editing are amazingly done! Thank you for introducing Taiwan in such a beautiful way.
Love this series! Music and editing are awesome.
I love Iz's voice... Something in her voice is so claming
That tiny lake you guys went to at Yangmingshang is where I used to go as a kid to catch tadpoles... brings back the memories... ...

¿Which final episode? I fully expect your series not to end!
The citrusy soy sauce was probably ponzu. So happy you had a great experience. That's some high end hot pot right there. :)
I would definitely like to try this place out. This seems like an amazing food experience.
It's crazy, you have time to travel in Taiwan, and play in Hobbs & Shaw.
Nice video! Loved the drone shots. What broth did you have with the hotpot at the end?
Taiwan is so damn great!

I love that chick. She's feisty and strong. And she has no problems putting out babies out of her body. She could do it for ages.
Watch out for Tapei vipers. Lol
