- Bourgeois/Eastman Touchstone series Dread.
1st one I've had my hands on - I like this one even more then the OM (because I'm a "dread guy"). Sitka top, Adirondack braces, Rosewood back and sides. Some of the guitar is built in China by Eastman, and some of it (the top, notably) is built/voiced in Maine. Pricewise - directly comparable to a HD-28.
Very alive sounding guitar - I hear nice overtones and a rich, full sound; which is what I expect from a good rosewood dreadnought. I hope they expand the line some more! Don't know if I could resist a Slope D...

I agree about a slope shoulder. I want Rhett Shull's Bourgeois so bad, it's probably the most beautiful slope I've ever seen.

Im surprised. It seems a little dull to me.🤔 flat...
Treble is good, bass and mids not so good...not impressed.
So tinny. Trebles are dominant. This is not a balanced guitar or a powerhouse like some call it.
