In fact a lot of psychology goes into the aesthetics that gaming studios and consoles build for themselves in order to make sure that their games and only their games become your comfort media!
But what happens when you don't do that? What happens if a publisher has TOO MANY aesthetics?

Another great video! I was in my late teens when the first PlayStation launched, and it definitely seemed grittier. The N64 was very jarring compared to the SNES, since the pixel art had gotten so good at that point. The XBox felt truly new when it launched
