Whoa! Someone FINALLY used chorals in JENOVA. Not only did you do it, but you did it RIGHT. I've heard dozens of JENOVA renditions since I was a kid, but this one is the best I have ever heard. My hat is off to you.
Ive said it before and I'll say it again, your arrangements would really suit the remake. This arrangement is better than the official distant worlds arrangements
One of my favourite tracks from this game and this version is exactly what i would want to hear in the remake. Better than all the others ive heard so far, keep it up

Jenova theme is always badass! Yours is definitely worthy of adding the suspense and drama that Nobuo instilled onto it! I actually like how the beats makes it a bit more fast pace than the original! I'd play this on my video game!
Yes, Jenova was definitely the true villain of Final Fantasy VII. The song conveys the existential horror that accompanies the realization that she wasn't an Ancient, but a secret destroyer from another world.
@@samtheman1893 This is no age old question. This is just the stupid John Brittenham theory. The game flat out says on CD2 that it was Sephiroth's will making use of the reunion and that Sephiroth both wanted to diffuse his consciousness through the Lifestream as well as control the Sephiroth copies. Jenova is not this mastermind that mind controls people. It is an entity just following its programming like a beast and uses its intelligence to trick its prey so it can inject its cells, infect people with the virus it contains, absorb and reunite. Sephiroth is the desire of Jenova reborn in a human way. And a desire does not control you like a character. You are also controlled by your hunger but you would never treat it like an entity mind controlling you. And that is what Sephiroth inherited. The desire. He embraces it once he becomes evil and makes use of it. If people want to call that "Jenova controlling Sephiroth", fine, but it is not what they mean and what they mean is flat out contradicted by the game, the Ultimania and everything else.
@@Cetra29 that is what I meant, that it can be seen both ways. Just like you could say we are controlled by our hunger. It doesn't have to be sentient for that to be the case. That's the way I see it anyway.
The only thing that I dislike about this version is the piano opening (it feels too Christmas-y). I very much prefer the sci-fi blips of the original (or even those synthesized sounds in the Advent Children version). That being said, the rest of this remix is fantastic, and the choir is absolutely incredible. Square should have done something like this for the very ending of the game, when you enter the lifestream and are fighting the iron giants as you leap down the platforms.

The age old question...was Jenova using Sephiroth or was Sephiroth using Jenova?
I suspect the former

Outstanding, the remake track will have to do well to beat this!
I will subscribe on your Spotify account right now! :D i love your OST versions of each FF games !
It just needs some pics of the epic combat between the team and this monstruous alien form life known as Jenova ^^
Nice. Will you make for another FFs? it would be nice.

One-Winged Angel Plz
may i know which boss this song is played on ff7 original?
Can you make an orchestrated ffx
I wish you could make this like 3 hours long.
Great stuff. I hate that I use EZDrummer/Superior Drummer so much. It's so obvious whenever I hear it now haha.
Good ear on ya! Yeah, good old EzDrummer pounding away here.
Liked! Subscribed! Awesome!
Much obliged!
Good sir, you MUST make one winged angel, and Aerith's theme. Then i can die in peace.
