2008 Escalade and I think I have the same problem. The brakes started sticking just like yours after a very hard stopping of the truck. Car pulls out in front of me and I had to jam the brakes harder than I ever had before. Now the brakes hang up. If I give the pedal a quick and firm press the brakes release. Problem comes when you need to slow down just a little like to go around a turn or slow for a speed hump. I have to reach down and pull up hard on the pedal. I know it's not the calipers or rotors. I put all new rotors, calipers and pads about a year ago and brakes were super smooth up until that hard braking event. I'll try the zip tie thing.

Ok welp....yup there is brake fluid in my booster. It's like 1/4 full of brake fluid! I was able to "rig it" to make it a little easier to drive until I get a new booster. With a shop vac and a hose I sucked out all the brake fluid then I reduced the vacuum hose ID by sticking in a couple smaller sizes. This slightly reduces the vacuum suction allowing the pedal to come back up but it still takes a few seconds.

Have the same issue on my 92 F150. Have replaced everything (drums and hardware, calipers, pads, soft lines, master cylinder, brake booster). Still have the same issue. Will check if there's fluid inside the booster and try getting a new one instead of a remanufactured one.
