Really great review, but I would like to add that the 215 goes down to 38hz, and it gets really low no flappy sound, really good value and a great cab if you want to keep it simple, dispersion is very good, played to 320 people, loud back line, loud drummer, 2 vocals, keys, overhead and kick mic, 2x215s rcf M18 mixer and they rocked. Maybe I'll be getting 3 more as foldbacks.
everyday, am looking at the thump 215xt and think will end up with them. i want speakers with great bass as i dont use sub. it will be used mainly forfamily parties of up to 100 pax. but heard many bad reviews regarding macki speakers. i want something for bluetooth also and still, heard that the BT is not that nice and many having issues to connect. the non BT of the 215 is around 60 dollars cheaper. is it worth going with the 215XT for loud, quality, bass and bluetooth?
hi great video! there is only a small mistake you made in the speaker specifications, the frequency response declared on the speaker manual is 52hz up to 20000hz for thrash 212 while for 215 it is 38hz up to 20000hz so excellent specifications!
Hey Craig! I’ve actually got a pair of the brand new Thump on their way to me for review right now, but based on all the specs and info I’ve read so far I think the Thump is definitely worth the extra money if you can make it happen. Thanks for watching!
These are a step lower than the thump. They’re $50 cheaper but have reduced frequency range compared to the thump. If you have the extra money grab the Thump, if not then these are still worth picking up!
Great question! A single amp speaker has one amplifier that sends power to both the woofer and the tweeter. A bi-amp speaker has two separate amplifiers, one to send power to the tweeter and one for the woofer. Since the woofer and tweeter and very different drivers with different power needs, this can be more efficient and effective. Thanks for watching!
For sure! It’s essentially the same speaker but with a 12” driver. You’ll lose some low end but I’d recommend using them with a subwoofer if possibly anyway. Thank you for watching!
@@fayzereviews Thanks a lot for the answer. I'm going to buy the 212 for now and then buy a subwoofer in the future. I'm Suscribed to your channel though :)

Well done review, speaker sounds good too, as u said added subwoofer will fill gaps and together it will sound great.
