I started watching your channel from the beginning. I still love your videos. I saw that you became a father. Congrats!!! Since I saw your first video I have... graduated high school, joined the Army, got out of the Army, went home, moved to Utah, was homeless for a few months, found a job, found another job, met an amazing friend, married her, started going to school studying animation and game development, and then switched my major to electrical engineering. Honestly... it’s been a roller coaster. I’m still a fan. I hope I get to meet you one day, Joe.
Holy shit, congratulations on your life man! Seriously though, write a book on your life, shouldn't go untold, maybe make it for your child so he/she can read it in the future!
@@Pri-ze7fvHonestly I think everybody should consider writing their life story for their children to read and learn about their parents life and how to improve upon their own lives :) it would also give their child better insight into who their parent really is and how they were at their child’s age.

Has it truly been 11 years joe? I came from NewGrounds and then I saw that exact video on the RUclips homepage, you're one of the first 5 channels I've ever subscribed to!
Omg I started watching you 10 years ago and my tiny teenage self had a huuuge crush on you 😭😭😭 I'm so proud to see how far you've come and I can't wait to see what you will do next, this brought back many memories❤
Oi, Joe. Que legal te ver aqui novamente depois de tanto tempo. Acho que vejo seus vídeos desde 2009. Quando eu ainda era uma criança. Hoje tenho 20 anos e sou cantora e compositora. Obrigada por ser inspiração! Beijos do Brasil
Guitar Impossible was the first of your videos i'd ever seen, i remember back in middle school our music teacher allowed us to go on youtube during class but only let us watch music-related videos, and I'd browse your videos
This made me so happy to see. 2009, 9th grade, that video was mind blowing at the time. I remember screaming at my mum to watch it, and telling my friends about you. On my old (now dead account, thanks Google+) you were my first ever subscription because of Guitar Impossible, and I've been with you ever since. It's insane to think about the 8 years that have gone past since then. To see your growth, and also to see that your creativity, and passion have never faltered or wavered. Thank you for the 8 years of amazing, and wonderful art that you have created, and I hope to be here for another 8+ years. Much love! ♡
Guitar: Impossible was the first MGM video I saw and I instantly subscribed. Can’t believe that was 8 years ago. Keep up the great work as always! We all love you!
The first video i saw on your channel was "Desert music" and i was 12 years old at the time so i basically grew up watching your content. Keep up the great work MysteryGuitarMan ! From a normal french-canadian dude who loves what you are doing ! Ps : (sorry if there is a lot of spelling mistake I am still learning English as my second language)
I think Guitar: Impossible was my first video from you, if not definitely one of the first. Love to see how you've grown over those 11 years. Thank you for everything!
I can't pinpoint exactly how long I've been watching this channel, but Guitar Impossible was i think one of the firt of your videos i ever watched, maybe only a few years after it came out. You've been a huge inspiration to me and I'm happy to see you're still making amazing videos after all this time!
My my.. it's been a while since I've seen anything from you.. I honestly can't explain how much you have actually inspired me in everything I have done.. Just your motivation, energy, and creativity made me wanna start music in the first place.. First video I ever seen from you indeed was Guitar: Impossible... 11 years my man.. still love it to this day.
I remember when you were one of the top 10 creators on RUclips. I've seen many a new creator make strides towards being as creative and visually impressive as you have always been from the get-go. it's inspiring to come back after so many years and see how far you've come, and proves that creativity needs only an outlet. And now you're producing and directing movies with the same attention to detail that you've been able to hone and harness over the years. Thank you for all the hard work and effort you've put into making impressive content, Joe Penna. You are an inspiration for us all.
I saw "impossible guitar" during a classical music binge a bit over a month after you uploaded it, I subscribed immediately... close to 9 years ago.. oh my god. Guitar Impossible was literally one of my first RUclips videos and inspired me to create. Glad you're still creating! I've been around since Joe Castillo the Movie Extra btw... that's how much of an oldie I am.
I've been watching over 11 years. I was lucky to stumble into your first videos that I have loved a lot. You and DeStorm were the ones that used to have me waiting for a new video back then
Have been watching since the beginning with the first Guitar: Impossible. I still use it every year in my Video Production class to talk about stop motion and short clip editing. We then revisit some of your other videos when we work on sound editing. Thanks for helping to inspire my students every year!
i've been watching for probably about 8+ years now, i think?! guitar:impossible was probably my first video, been following ever since it first came out. man it's been so long!! :') so much nostalgia. always so proud of you for getting so far and continuing to make these amazing videos, joe :')
I just saw the gamerfrommars video about you. I'm glad i did as it reminded me of you, and the times when i first got into youtube, watching people like you, ray william johnstone and shane dawson. its sent me on a long nostalgia trip down an amazing rabbit hole finding out all of the people i used to watch and i'm finding im subscribing to people who i was there when a few thousand subscribers was a big deal unlike now when people can get millions of subscribers relatively easily. It was the Finebros who added your " Mystery Symphony " to their fav. And since then I'm a fan. I remember once back in 2010/2011 my baby little brother was sick and I had to take care of him, i spent the whole night watching your videos the moments when he was sleeping. That helped me staying awake, thanks a lot Joe !

I started watching you back around 2010! First video was iFlip! I got SO into you that when I was still in high school, during a “pop culture” day, while everyone dressed up as Katy Perry, Star Wars, and Lil’Wane, I decided to dress up as Mystery Guitar Man and spread some RUclips awareness! I had short black hair so spiked it up crazy, put on some shades, painted a beard on me ( cause I couldn’t grow one out in the 10th grade - still can’t grow one haha) and wore shirt that said Mystery Guitar Man and blue jeans and sandals! Some people were so confused but there one or two kids who knew who Joe was! I was the happiest kid that day! 😊
The video you redid in this video happened to be my first video! Love how far the channel has come and will always watch your videos old and new. Thanks for the inspiration!

Must've been 2009 or 2010, whenever looping 2 came out, jeez brings me back to mid school. Now I'm a sophomore in college, love this channel. Mysetryguitarman forever!
I actually found the channel when there was only a few videos. At the time I thought you were extremely talented and was very impressed with your videos. I actually remember watching the original of this when it first came out. I think one of the last ones I watched was the one with Shane Dawson. I didn't consciously stop watching, like I didn't choose to. I just kind of drifted to other channels and slowly forgot about this one over the years. Well, I'm a huge fan of Philip DeFranco and I'm currently watching his original videos and saw the collab with you in the basement and was like, "OMG I remember him! I wonder how long it's been since he uploaded. I doubt the channel even still exists". But I came here and was excited to see this was uploaded two days ago. And what a great video to be reintroduced to you to! A throwback to what I remember from you, and I can see in my first video back that you've come a long way! I remember in your old videos you would record the outro in your living room. It's nice to see someone with your talent actually making it far. I said at the beginning of this that I thought you were extremely talented in the beginning. While you definitely are, now that I see how far you've come and what you can do now, I realise that what I saw was just the very tip of the iceberg. Now if you don't mind, I have eight years of videos to go catch up on! :D
Back in ipod touch days, before the iphone 4 even existed, and the youtube app logo was the old television logo. Found you on the top/trend section on youtube. Oh the memories

The platforms algorithm doesn't and won't ever support content like this unfortunately
