Shane is a complex character, but yes he did know how to survive better then everyone back then, the problem was, he turned on his own crew, trying to kill Rick aka their leader and his best friend. Shane also murdered someone so he could survive. Rick never did that unless it was someone bad or in a position to get others killed. If Shane didn’t turn on his group, then he’d be up there with Rick.

Well before that Shane had also pointed his gun at Rick in Season 1, went crazy at the CDC and started shooting monitors and first fought with Rick and threatened Dr. Jenner, he also attacked Lori there, then he killed Otis in Season 2, then he busted open the barn

Girl, you just mad cause you were in that barn. 😉 Honestly though, I understand why Shane did everything he did, for the most part I think he was in the right, except when he pointed his gun at Rick and when he attacked Lori, but everything else I think Shane made the right call. He understood the needed to survive and understood how the real world functions.

@@creaturesofdarkness3365 Yea I have the same name lol 😂 I still get chills watching the barn scene cuz I picture it being me and 😬 also Shane did make a lotta good calls but he wasn’t always in the right, I think he didn’t have enough compassion and his insanity was his downfall

@Sophia_P999 Fair enough I can definitely understand you're point. I don't think Lori helped the situation by giving him mixed singles but if Shane hadn't of let his love for her drive him crazy, I think he would have helped the group alot until they got to Alexandria. He would have struggled with the community aspect of that place. I honestly thought you were that actress at first lol you look just as beautiful as she is now all grown up. Crazy how much you both look alike, lol.

@@creaturesofdarkness3365 I agree, Shane didn’t really care enough for the other group members but if he never got with Lori and kept his calm working with the others to make them stronger than I think him and Rick could’ve been a great duo. Shane should’ve run off the highway to save Sophia with Rick, that would’ve solved a lot of the problems in Season 2, also maybe killing Otis wasn’t necessary but that’s debatable, I think he should’ve been more respectful to Dale for sure, even though Dale didn’t have what it took to survive in the apocalypse long term, neither did Sophia, Otis, or any of the group really at that point but Shane and Daryl, I think Shane really should’ve been more like Rick in that aspect of slowly working everybody into the comfort zone of survivalists. If Shane had more patience and didn’t get with Lori he might’ve been a better leader than Rick. Imagine how many people in the group would’ve survived had Shane been around longer and been a better person.

@Sophia_P999 Yeah, I think Shane was a good person over all but I also understand his thought process, from a man's perspective its our number one priority to protect our women and the people we find ourselve with. Shane just couldn't understand, Lori wasn't his and i think because she kept playing games it put Rick and Shane against each other in that field. I really respect you're point of view. Even though you don't make videos, I think you'd be good at it. Subbed.
