You should do a huge video covering the entire season with notes you take on each ep. That way you don't spread yourself to thin & the show will only be kinda like work with you just taking notes, so you can enjoy it or destroy it with just one video when it's over. But then what do I know I'm just a weird dude on the internet.
Would love to see you carry on doing these videos for each episode. I love the walking dead and was sad when a lot of people dropped off watching it. Doing these review videos shows that a lot of people still enjoy the show.
the walking dead universe is probably the most milked property EVER. It was a cultural phenomenon in the early to mid 2010s and they should've capped it and wrapped up the story in 6-7 seasons. I enjoyed seasons 1-3 a lot but it just fell off with no direction. Greed can ruin a lot of things.
You explained this so much better than the other recaps, as those just assume you know the backstory (which I didn't know a lot of). Thank you for filling in the blanks on this episode and explaining the past leading into this episode.
I'm going to be honest and never ever bothered me that they didn't cut Rick's hand off in the show because even the Creator said that he regretted doing that because it limited what Rick could do and I really do think sometimes the book suffered from him losing the hand.

Pretty please with sugar on top, cover the show. I was so bummed yesterday when you didn’t have a review up. It’s supposedly a 6 ep limited series, so hopefully you can squeeze it in to your schedule.
Between a family with two small children, a 60+ hr a week career, and everything that goes along with those things, I simply have no time these days to watch shows. I do have time to listen to cliff notes. I love these breakdowns.
This show is absolutely amazing, so happy to see Rick Grimes back, it’s like Andrew Lincoln never went away, outstanding actor. Thanks for covering Paul.
Paul you SOB, im in! Way back when you were doing Walking Dead breakdowns I found your channel. And like you I thought it fell off. I wasn't going to even watch this one but then you had to upload. We'll go on this journey together!
Dude I hope we get to see a flashback that shows the immediate moments of him getting to the CRM in the chopper and going through probably some intense surgery for that wound he suffered before the bridge and of course being blown up lol. White gonna be so crazy and intense probably gonna feel similar to the season 5 introduction with how unsettling it will be. Its gonna be such a feeling of panic when he wakes up and realizes he's been taken
The CRM took down omaha in the world beyond because omaha was becoming a burden from a resources standpoint. "The CRM's modelling and statistics began to indicate that Omaha was becoming overly reliant on the Civic Republic for protection and resources, so rather than engage in protracted rationing and a gradual decline, Beale opted to wipe the Omaha settlement out completely, thus protecting the Civic Republic from being dragged down by its ally"
In beyond show the character says that human race is on edge of collapse why would kill city of Ohma and College Campus of 8000 people? This is stupid!?.
So glad rick is back and I hope the show keeps up this amazing momentum, seeing the CRM finally after years and years of anticipation and their role being played this way excites me
Thank you for this from someone who no longer has cable and will not be getting it just for this show even though I really want to watch it because I absolutely used to love the show and seeing Rick back makes me happy.
Really curious if Morgan will make an appearance in the show. Just a theory. In the Daryl series there is a part where they show a flashback of Carol speaking to Daryl over the walkie. She tells him someone is back but some static cuts out the message. I honestly think it's Morgan since he returned at the end of Fear to Eastman cabin before he was going to head to Alexandria. Was thinking about how epic it would be if all the shows tied up, especially with the 6 biggest characters from TWD: 1) Daryl Dixon S2 is already taking place and Carol will most likely be helping him. 2) Dead City S2 is already in the works. Maggie will most likely head back to help Negan. 3) Other interesting points is that at the end of TWD and FTWD: - Mercer is heading up the commonwealth. - Ezekiel is heading up Alexandria. - Dwight and Sherry are heading up the Sanctuary with FTWD survivors. - Oceanside is still there. 4) What if The Ones Who Live S1 was to end with Rick and Michonne heading back to Alexandria and either a follow up season or series was to happen where the others (Daryl, Carol, Negan, Maggie (Hilltop leader), Ezekiel (Alexandria leader), Mercer (Commonwealth leader), Dwight (Sanctuary leader), Oceanside and Morgan help Rick and Michonne to prepare for the impending attack of Beale and the CRM. At the end of it all Rick takes everyone to the City of the CRM.

My dude idk where you get the idea that the show was "missing" ricks hand being cut off almost like you're saying it felt naked without it. They changed that for a reason, because it was a bad decision in the comics and they never should've done it. It limited Rick way too much for the entire story and should not have been done as early as the governor arc.
