Hi Becky! We're so happy you decided to give our product a try! We are sorry the results weren't what you were hoping for, but I believe we have a solution for you.We noticed that you used our compost as a main ingredient in your seed starter bricks. Our compost is too potent to be used as a soil which is why we encourage our customers to treat it as a fertilizer. We suggest using a one to five ratio mix, one part compost to five parts potting soil. Thank you so much for giving our product a try and we hope you decide to give it another chance!

I've been teaching them about the benefits of making our own compost and they are so eager to help! A couple weeks ago a took a strawberry that was starting to go bad and sprinkled it's seeds in a pot of soil and I have 20 strawberry babies that will be ready next year! Hi Becky, your drive and energy are so motivating. Thank you for sharing your projects. A tip for your seed starting trays, they're purposely designed to leave that 'air space' between them. It helps to prevent the starts from just sitting in water. Pop out one of the little 4 packs or whatever size of starting pots your using, use that hole to fill the tray with about 1/2 gal of water or until it reaches the bottom of the pots. I go about 1/4 inch up the side to ensure there's enough water to wick into all the pots. When I see they're all wet at the top I check to see how much water is still in the reservoir. If a lot I'll dump the extra into a bucket to use for next time, if just a little I'll leave it there to help raise the humidity.
Take care can't wait for the next adventure, and the progress on your yard is amazing!

Hello Becky! I started watching you for the past few months. Thank you for being so encouraging with your gardening. I am somewhat new to gardening since we moved from our townhome to a ranch style home on 1 acre. So many possibilities that gets me excited. I appreciate all your time that you share with us. Love the recipes and methods of food preserving too. Your friend Kelly from Hamburg PA.

Hi Becky, I do so enjoy watching your garden & cooking videos! I didn't do much gardening growing up & later in life raising 4 children was enough to do that. But if I had the internet & someone like you to watch & learn from, I would have done more. Now 73yrs I did some pot gardening last year, & they were starting to grow nicely, I had tomatoes, cucumbers, basil, parsley, beans, etc. But I fell at our pool & broke my femur at the end of June. Had to be 6 weeks in rehab. So my husband tried to keep watering, but it was so hot in July that he just couldn't keep it up, & with everything else he had to do. So that's my gardening experience! But I am going to try a few things this year but more flowers than veggies! I hope it will work this year! Thanks for all your cooking recipes, too. And keep the videos coming. I love watching them! Have a good weekend!❤☺️🌷🍄

I planted about 10 different varieties of beet this year. I never liked beets, but my hub kept asking for them, so I ordered some from Azure and have tried preparing them in different ways and sure enough! I finally found a way that I LOVE to eat them...even the standard, red kind.
I peel and pressure can them and when I want some, drain and toss with some lard or tallow, chopped garlic, thyme, and salt and pepper and roast them in the oven, usually with parsnips, carrots, and potatoes. OMGEROSH...now we fight over them.
We tried the yellow beets and they're even BETTER, so I was very excited this morning to see my row of baby beets breaking the surface! I can't wait to try all the different kind.

Hi Becky! Great job with those seedlings! They look great! I too save my 4" pots for seedlings and when I run out, I use generic Solo cups with a hole melted in the bottom. When we were looking at the seedlings of basil (in the pepper tray) the left corner of that grow light area is dim. Those peppers under that dim corner are small...your grow light might could use to be moved out to the left, on that shelf. It would be more likely to have plenty of light in the center under the meeting grow lights then on that left corner.

I'm growing ground cherries for the first time and am stupid excited about it! I'm also trying out more flowers this year. Usually I stick with marigolds and nasturtium and then go buy whatever my heart tells me to at the garden center, but this season I've started some salpiglossis, violas, dwarf sunflowers, and a variety of zinnia. They remind me so much of dahlias (which I absolutely love) but are so much more affordable to grow. I have coral, the envy same as you, peppermint stick, cactus mix, and a cut-and-come-again mix.

I'm new to soil blocks- LOVE them and the reduction in the amount of plastic that I use. Wetter soil makes better soil blocks. Having a bucket of fresh water to regularly rinse the block maker off is helpful. Enjoy! ! !
