Scarface's "Little Friend"
The Punisher's Custom M1911s
Terminator's Lever Action shotgun
Dredd's Lawgiver
"Alright you wanna play? Let's play. SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!"
Man that gun is the most iconic M16 Rifle ever. I was expecting it here but I was disappointed it wasn't on here.
sherif elsharkawy I thought the line was "You wanna play rough? Okay. SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!"
Oh ya, sorry I have seen the movie a couple years back and don't remember that much. Sorry 'bout that/
Dredd's Lawgiver was the first gun that popped into my head when I started watching this list, closely followed by Scarface - second that!
LAPD 2019 blaster from Blade Runner!
were is the cricket from men in black
YES--ha!
Ikr
The Noisy Cricket was recalled. It had kick back issues :-)
and the other big alien gun.
I couldn't believe it wasn't in there either!! WTH WatchMojo??!!
Where is the Lawgiver of Judge Dredd, the desert eagle of agent smith, the Proton Pack of Ghostbusters, the MAC-10 of Snake Plissken?
Desert eagles are in so many movies as a default henchman gun same with mac 10. Other two you have a case for
As mentioned, MAC-10 is an overused "Bad guy gun", Proton packs don't really count as guns, and there was nothing spectacular about Agent Smith's Desert Eagle, its just big to match Hugo Weavings really big teeth.
Or the Scarface modified M16 assault rifle?
THE SILENCER well I don’t think the proton pack is a conventional “gun”
You mean the Mac 10 from Pulp Fiction.
“Painless” from Predator???
A mini gun
It's the same one used in Terminator 2
The Lawgiver from Dredd. High tech justice.
Roger Haywood i was wondering if someone remembered this amazing firearm
Roger Haywood Yep, Lawgiver is missing.
+Roger Haywood Exacly
I was waiting for it, but was ultimately disappointed
+Preet Sandhu Too American centric sadly :(
Missing 2 guns
1. Lawgiver From Judge Dredd for both Old/New
2. Rifle from Starship Troopers!
Starship troopers rifle and it's pump action shotgun attachment definitely deserved a mention.
mario badia Not even close. It's way longer and has a shotgun attachment, not a grenade launcher.
mario badia You might want to look again. They don't even look similar to me.
When I saw the Morita MK II wasn't on this list, I was pissed.
I miss the Star Trek Phaser.
"The U.S. army of the future" pretty sure they're United States Colonial Marines.
united systems
Probably space force
What about Chigur’s silenced shotgun from No Country for Old Men?
Not bad.... Not bad
I was thinking the same thing, but I'm not sure it's technically a gun.
Snayl, why wouldn’t it be considered a gun?
It’s a captive bolt pistol, not a shotgun. They’re used to stun cattle before slaughter.
@@TheGlaSGOWSTEVE that's exactly what it is
Judge Dredds gun?
That confuse me,too
@@springcofee Double whammy!
The Lawgiver
Rapid fire!
yeah this definitely should be on the list. Especially both movies focus that much on the gun.
The mini-gun should have made the list. If not for Arnold's use of it in T2, then for Jesse Ventura's performance in Predator, which may be the only movie to feature two future Governors. That's weird.
predator and running man. same year
You're right. I forgot about that movie.
The m-134 Vulcan minigun is basically a dream weapon
And both were the number 38th governor of their state
Sean, the M-134 used as a hand held weapon. LMFAO.
You need 24 volts and 1.5kilowatts to run it, (2 car batteries, 20kg each), the rate of fire makes it useless in that role, you can't carry enough ammo for it even at its slowest rate of fire (2,000 RPM) for it to be of any use and it weighs about 39 kg, (Lightweight version 19kg).
Say you have 800 rounds of ammo (44kg), at 2,000 RPM that is 24 seconds of intense fire (8 seconds at 6,000 RPM) afterwhich you then have about 60kg of useless junk, if you are going to carry that initial 100kg into the jungle in the first place you may as well take extra food, water and ammo instead.
The M56A2 Smart Gun also from ALIENS.
You don't carry it...you *wear* it.
Let's rock!
@@F15ElectricEagle ruclips.net/video/q8qbfMXaego/видео.html
Yeah, cannot believe they got the M41 A in but the M56 Smartgun didn't even get a mention.
Hell yeah!!
Two of the space marines performed a kata with the gun before they boarded the drop ship
"Phased plasma rifle in 40 watt range" ;D
“Only what ya see pal!”
Uzi 9MM ( Schwarzenegger accent)
lol well said
Wow I said that in my comment to lol
@@Cmdrjo “da oozee nien millahmeeta”
Where's the Tommy Gun? EVERY gangster movie set before the 60's features a Thompson of some sort. The thing is iconic of the old school gangster's weapon of choice.
the pulse rifle from aliens is actually a Tommy gun all dressed up
+kolakommando Partly it is, lots of other influences and designs though.
+Aidan Templeton no I mean under all that prop dressing is an M1A1 Thompson for the main gun and a cut-down Remington 870 as the grenade launcher
And in most WW2 movies.
+kolakommando some may think SPAAS looking at the forearm, but it's all the old standard 870.
_"You want a gun that's powerful _*_and_*_ easily hidden from your enemies? Well, if you're James Bond, that means you pack a Walther PPK"_
It's chambered for the .32 ACP round, which is a *very* low-powered handgun cartridge. Its lethality is attributed to 007's marksmanship and not its firepower. And although in later films the Walther PPK is used, in _Dr. No_, while referred to as a PPK, it is actually the Walther PP that is seen on-screen -- same frame but a longer barrel.
Yeah....and it also contributed to the Princess Royal very nearly being kidnapped back in the 1980's because her CP officer's PPK snagged on his clothing. ( tell that to the RAF though - they still issue it to their perss :-) )
Actually it is a .380 acp, not a .32. It is also known as 9mm short. The "bullet" is the same size as a 9mm but the cartridge is shorter, meaning less power and range really, although barrel length obviously plays a hand in that. Nonethless, it is a 9mm short, aka a 380 ACP. I should know as I have one. Maybe the older models were .32 acp, but not currently.
Stevie Joe the original ones were chambered in 32 acp.
Wow, missing the ZF1 from "The Fifth Element"
Definitely should have made the list!!!
Now a real killer when he picked up the ZF1 would have immediately asked about the little red button on the bottom of the gun.
Iconic?
Mad Max’s Double Barreled Shotgun
The Terminator’s lever action Shotgun
Judge Dredd’s Lawgiver
Boondock Saints Berettas
John McClain’s Beretta
Cobb’s (The Rock’s) 629 competitor
The Book of Eli Shotgun
Indiana Jones’ M1917
Predator Mini Gun “Ol Painless”
Best comment here so far.👏
Bullet Tooth Tony's Desert Eagle .(point)50 ... no replica ^_^
Elysium chemrail
Who doesn't love guns?
liberals
Obvious liberal statement ^^^thinking every automatic rifle is an assault rifle
Assault rifles have both semi automatic and fully automatic firing modes. An AR-15 is not an assault rifle, it was modeled after an assault rifle for the consumer market. True assault rifles are very hard to acquire, despite what liberals would lead you to believe.
BOW TO MY WEAPONRY!
Tyler Hermanson
Correction:
If a gun has wood parts, its an AK.
If it has plastic parts and a pistol grip, its an AR15/M16
I like to imagine that Kyle Reese is just a time lord and goes around teaching women to be badasses.
+Mikhail Blagodarov Technically,Skynet is the time lord.
+Luca Batman That is the most complex episode of Doctor Who imaginable.
i know right! lolololol
Back to the future III
Doc Brown's converted Winchester 1866 "Yellow Boy" sniper rifle /with one hell of a scope
"I shoot the fleas off a dog's back at 500 yards"
No mention of the Blade Runner Blaster. Disappointed.
The gun wasn't integral enough to the character. If it was instrumental for the climax, maybe.
@@zorkmid1083 It's still iconic though.
@DeVon Taruex I stayed until the end thinking it would be #1
Should be love that gun and Officer K used it also
#4: DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol
And then they show a series of clips with Han using the BlasTech E-11 blaster rifle, lol.
I know right
Speaking of the e 11 i was expecting it
Problem with the DL-44?
For Episodes V and VI they gave it the wrong scope... only fixed by the time of The Force Awakens.
Mojo has been slapping these things together for a long time now.
No ZF1 in Fifth element movie?
+Tony Valdez
"My Favorite"
+Tony Valdez The button under the gun...
+Tony Valdez you would think that gun had enough add-ons all it was missing was a mini bar and heck some way to cook food.
i I agree Zf1 holes Oldies But Goldies rocket launcher that launches missile launcher Ice Cube system and replay button
it has a flamethrower...
I was waiting for the revolver like gun Harrison Ford’s character used in Blade Runner. :(
That customized Beretta M93R of Robocop surely is super neat. It was kinda longer, heavier barrel compensator/flash hider and surely pretty advanced during it's time.
Great list, my movie weapon of choice would be any gun from Men in Black
The Noisy cricket for sure!
Reiji Arisu IDK, the guns they keep in the trunk of the car are pretty good too.
Steve W
But they aren't named ;)
Plus I'm sure the noisy cricket could have done more damage but not looks as cool.
Guess the futuristic Kolibri Made up in this list
“Series 4 Deatomizer”
“Man that what I’m talking about.”
“Noisy cricket”
*look of disappointment*
The Fifth Element's Zorg ZF-1 should definitely be in this list. It made for some epic sound and scenes and is unique in its vast variety of capabilities.
The sawed off Winchester 1887 that the T800 uses in Terminator 2. Either that or the scoped/lazer 1911 from Terminator 1
Where's The Man With No Name a.k.a. Blondie's Cartridge Converted Colt Navy 1851?
The mini gun scene in T2 was good but my choice for most iconic weapon from that film would have to be the winchester 1887 lever action shotgun the terminator took from the bartender in the beginning the M134 was used in only one scene the 1887 was used throughout the first half of the film and nothing was cooler than Arnie flip cocking the thing while riding a harley
The grenade launcher was pretty iconic as well
Forgot the MIB Noisy cricket....?
Finally someone else!
For real! I was thinking that was going to be number one
Bryce Payne That's what my gf and I thought too, this list is bogus...
I was waiting for this as well
I thought that would be number one!
Several missed, most of which have already been mentioned. I would include in the top ten:
Star Trek Phaser
Blade Runner Revolver
Doom BFG
Han’s modified Mauser Broomhandle Blaster
Han Solo's blaster is the DL-44 mentioned in the video. Unfortunatly they mostly showed the E-11 Blaster Rifle.
No Holy Shotgun from Constantine? Plus a Dragon's Breath flamethrower!
Now Law Giver? The Blaster from Bladerunner? The Point of View Gun from Hitchhikers? The recent Dual Blasters from Guardians? I can name a few.
Dick Gun from Dusk til Dawn/desperado.
Law Giver was the first to come to mind when I read the title.
the Lawgiver from Dredd
seriously that gun was amazing.
tokyozombe Not even an Honorable Mention Why Mojo?
Thank you
Thank you
WKFBJDB JXHFJF HD D DND BD D DND R DNWWWW
The DL-44 is not shown in your video. You’re showing the E-11 blaster.
It is shown. Though only for like 2 seconds
Why didn't they show any of ROTJ? Han uses the gun throughout the entire fight on Endor.
THANK YOU.
I was like "Why aren't they showing the weapon they are talking about?"
They also don’t even know the right name a DL-44 does not exist what they meant was a Mauser C96 but they have multiple shots of sterling Submachine guns with 10 round mags
WOW! There were a lot of iconic guns missing. And a lot of good mentions from everyone. I think they should come out with a part 2 of this list. That would be cool. 😎
Oh COME ON, Watchmojo, the Lawgiver from Judge dredd... I'm disappointed.
Exactly! I thought the same thing!
Yup!!!
Came here to say that. That was the first thing I thought of when I saw the title.
Agreed!!! Not even in the HM
And two movies, oh and guess what? The Samaritan is from a comic, dont be a pedantic dick.
Expected LAPD 2019 Blaster from Blade Runner to be on number 1.
Also thought Jesse Ventura's minigun from Predator was pretty memorable.
***** Same goes for Dredd's gun imo. Like really, these pistols (Bond, Dirty Harry, Joker) being on the list instead of some way more creative/versatile choices make no sense at all. Even the laser gun from SW is way beyond Dredd's gun.
You mean old "painless" that's what her name was and it was a Gatling gun I think 50 Cal but don't quote me on that.
+Philp Roza you know I was wondering if the pyrotechnics were animated ( I hope not) but thanks for the information "old painless" by the way that's a perfect name for that gun because I I'm pretty sure you feel nothing after the first round hit you.
+Yellowsnow I came to write the same thing. Definitely the most iconic gun amongst actual prop makers and buffs.
+Yellowsnow IKR. Not even an honorable mention? Who the hell cares about the Joker's gun?
Little friend from Scarface and The Man with no names colt in the “dollars” trilogy
castor troy's golden guns. one of those few guns from movies that actually do look cool.
Agreed
What about Deckard's handgun from Blade Runner

Top Ten Danzig Songs
Top 10 Bad Guy Guns
(I vote AK-47,Uzi and MAC-10)
Do top 10 video game guns
Wheres Dredd's lawgiver? Since Joker is in this list, where is Dredd?
What about Top 10 anime guns? Has that been done yet?
OOPS!! Did not even mention “Old Painless” from Predator
I Come In Peace (Dark Angel) "Alien Gun"
I think you'll find that may have been in Mars attacks because I think you'll find there are no aliens in dark angel.
Best movie gun is the Zorg ZF-1 from fifth element
sadly they couldn't even give that one a honorable mention
OneBigPappa What about the Men in Black tiny pistol ???
or any of the weapons in MIB for that matter
Tobi Suffern it's called the cricket
Aye!! I remember it well:
1 Ultra high speed compact assault rifle firing fin stabilized, computer controlled, tracer rounds.
1 Range finding targeting computer with "replay mode."
1 10 Shot poison dart launcher.
1 All purpose rocket launcher.
1 flamethrower.
1 net launcher
Cryofreezing ice sprayer.
And the little hidden feature at the end.
What about the red Ryder BB gun from a Christmas story
Yea
I guess watch ain't toying around
"Nah, you'll shoot yer eye out kid!!"
You got be 35 plus to know about that movie!! I actually got a BB stuck in my face 2 CM from my eye
That is hilarious!!!
REALLY!?! The 5th Element gun was what?!? How about District 9?!? Come on🥺
There's a movie called " I come in peace " staring Dolph Lundgren and in it they get ahold of an Alien weapon that is extremely powerful ,that would definitely be my weapon of choice 🔫
The deadly CDs. Good movie.
That alien weapon is the Calico M950-A. It's also used by William Forsythe in "Stone Cold"
A phased plasma rifle in a 40-Watt range?
katey1dog "Hey just what you see pal." ;)
Chas Gregg The Uzi 9mm.
katey1dog Famous movie guns, personally I would of added Judge Dredd's gun up there.
hammerhorde ...with laser sighting.
We just got those in. You pull the trigger and put the beam where you want the bullet to go, you can't miss. That's a good gun.
Ýou sure know your weapons buddy.
That "boom stick" remind me about that epic film. Gonna watch it tonight.
Yo SheBitch Let's go! xD
MrColllie
Lol thats a good one.
My favourite is the bad Ash scene :L
You're a goody two shoes lol
what movie?
Evil Dead, Army of Darkness.
Would have thought you would have chosen the E-11 instead of the DL-44 since it was more frequently seen on screen
Don't expect anything from noobs......^^
How about the Chem-rail that made very brief (blink and you miss it) appearance in Elysium
That weapon was beast!!!
Winchester 1887 shotgun in Terminator 2 beats them all, no contest!
Local Gambler easy
Agent milton?
Whether it beats the PPK is debatable, but the M1887 is easily one of the most kick-ass weapons of all time.
The rail gun (Eraser) that shoots aluminum rounds apparently at 'near light speed'.... that would beat all comers
Assuming nearly means maybe 99% light speed and similar mass to conventional size bullet the relativistic kinetic energy released on firing would be equivalent to a high power nuclear weapon ....taking out a substantially large city when fired
@@obymoby2476 i wonder what it feels if i shoot my balls with it.
I expected to see at least a mention of the Lawgiver of Judge Dredd in this list. I know it originates from comics, but so did Hell Boy and he got a mention. Also the Lawgiver was even more badass in the movies than in the comics.
The Terminator's gun, with the laser pointer
Great Video! *Awesome List! This Video gives me some nostalgia!*
Do a segment on the DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol, show mostly footage of E-11 Blaster Rifle. Good call, guys.
Dredd isn't even an honorable mention? Come on now
YEAH!!! I KNOW RIGHT!! SERIOUSLY I was hoping for Atleast number 3 for judge dredd's Lawgiver
Mariachi bands make me excited and anxious.
Awesome music or bloody gunfight!
that guitar case gun reminds me of the ending to the Medicine Show video by Big Audio Dynamite (who actually sample westerns!)

ANONYMOUS GhostSector she was a replicant
MrKhalil9...I know...I just didn't feel like typing replicant...lol
You guys are very good at what you do but any nerd worth his salt would most certainley want a blade runner pistol over bonds ppk and i am an english bond nut have every bond film
Josh Cundiff i'd want that Blade Runner pistol
#1: "Lawgiver" - Judge Dredd (1995), Dredd (2012) ???
I KNOW, RIGHT?!!! Completely blew off The Lawgiver?!!!
***** The Character is from the comics, the gun isn't. The rule of movie guns only, refers to the gun not the character.
SirEatsBaconALot That is because despite what they say they are going to put what they want on their lists.
I’m surprised the Franchi Spas-12 wasn’t included. It was the shotgun in Jurassic Park and was also used in the original Terminator during the police station massacre
I love watching this video ever so often
Where the heck is deckards blaster from blade runner????!!! Wrong this is not on the list
I completely agree. even though it had more gimmicks than it had firepower it was still a standout.
Absolutely. It should be here.
Agreed.
I'm sure it was on this list, can't believe it's not!
It`d be great to see it included on a future video if they decide to revisit this.
Where was Dredds gun from the newest one (the better one)
I agree
Ya it's so awesome
yes!
what was that? Hot Shot?
Completely agree, should have been on the list.
1. Deathwish 3: Wildey 475 Magnum.
2. Alienation: 454 Casull
3. Sudden Impact: .44 Automag
What about the 45 long slide with laser sighting?
This was a weak list of movie guns....
Yeah, thought so myself. Wheres all the real iconic stuff? Like the lawgiver from the latest Dredd movie, Rick Deckard's gun from Blade Runner, the assault rifle from Starship Troopers, and yes the .45 long side with goddamn laser sighting. Theres plenty more memorable ones out there. Whats with all this PPK bullshit?! Its not even an impressive firearm and Bond barely fires it in most of his movies.
@@JSN117 absolutely correct man, yeah this was not that great of a video. Way better guns out there in movie land....
You put the DL-44 blaster pistol in the list but most of the clips showed Han with an E-11 blaster rifle.
I know right! And it was modeled after a Mauser!
Marcos Vazquez Did you know?, In Far cry 4 theres a signature weapon that consists in a supressed Mauser gun with an Acog optics and extended mags called "HS77" making reference to Han Solo laser gun and the year of the release of the first Star wars movie.
Daniel Gaxiola Lugo That sounds cool man, I've gotta check out FC4 asap now!
Also, Robocop's Auto 9 pistol was in Farcry 4 as the A.J.M. 9
Marcos Vazquez well yes it was and the main rifle that a rebel used is a STG-44
Come on! Where was "The Noisy Cricket"!
I think you're the only one in the comments section to get the name of that gun right.
\
Loved it when J gave K that gun and told him it was his favorite!
Where is Bronson’s revolver from the first and best “Death Wish”? It was given to him in a nice presentation case.
I thought the BFG from DOOM would at least make honorable mention....
I was thinking that when I first started watching lol.
Ditto.
It's for movies..
@@mopar_randy4952 Doom the movie came out in 2005. Main stars were The Rock, and Karl Urban.
@@Aguilar0612 oh. Thanks!
The gun from the fifth element would have deserve a place there. Flame thrower, ice thrower, net thrower, missile launcher, full auto homing bullet and arbalest kinda all in one.
The ZFI? it's certainly worthy of an honorable mention, at the very least.
.....*my favorite....
Just don't press the red button
They ALWAYS press the red button!
I guess the people of WatchMojo have never seen Scarface
Or Die Hard lol Jonn McClane's go to gun was the MP5. he was always mowing down baddies with that. disappointed that it didn't even get a honorable mention
They obviously never seen saving private Ryan or We were soldiers.
Tony's little friend, huh? A M4? Hahaha.
***** I think that he used an M16, I don't believe the M4 was invented yet. The M4 didn't come out until 1994. I haven't seen that movie in forever but it could have been a CAR-15 or XM-177 which are the earlier Vietnam versions of the M4
rosales416
now i have a machine gun,ho ho ho
I think they should make another top 10 iconic movie guns.
There are plenty of cool guns in cinema, so a list will always be lacking... Plenty of good additions by others, ones I haven't seen mentioned but would add:
- Cobretti/Stallone's Jatimatic submachinegun with laser sight from Cobra.
- The Morita rifles and carbines from Starship Troopers.
- The M1-L1 triple-pulse rifle from Deep Rising.
- The modified Saiga-12 shotgun from Showtime, although better known for its later appearance as the "Callahan Full-bore Auto-lock" (or simply "Vera") in the TV series Firefly.
What about Deckards pistol in Blade Runner??? that's pretty awesome. That should have been number one. It fires explosive rounds.
.44 Automag in the Dirty Harry Movie Sudden Impact. The Wildey in .458 Winchester Magnum in Death Wish 3. M1 Garrand in countless WWII Movies. MP-40, MG-42, and 1911 Colt Government Model, Browning Hi-Power. Just to name a few more. But hey, you get it.
Also the Browning Automatic Rifle. BAR.🙂
You forgot the Double Barrel elephant gun from Tremors.
Mini-gun from any or all 3 movies- predator, terminator 2, aliens 2
The m41a pulse rifle does indeed borrow features from curtain guns the feature called the pump action granade launcher is the front of a gun called the SPAS-12 a shotgun with a special feature that allows it to switch from pump action to semi automatic
The top 5 guns not included in this video - 1) the Lawgiver from "Dredd" 2) the BFG from "Doom" 3) Eddie Valiant's toon gun from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" 4) the Noisy Cricket from "Men in Black" and 5) the reverberating carbonizer (with mutate capacity) also from "MiB". Can I get an AMEN ?!?
Amen!!!
ZF1 from The 5th Element
The BFG is originally from the game
Totally forgot about the Noisy Cricket
+Alexandro Gutierrez It was the movie adaptation of Doom ffs. The BFG looks much cooler than the video game counterpart
What about the weapon used by The Predator? Shoulder mounted turret, target tracking, laser sighted.... badass.
U are right man :D
Dylan you son of a bitch
Jacktorious-rex rex Wtf
Omg dude are you serious? Not a big predator fan then! it's a quote from predator you fricking turnip
Jacktorious-rex rex *BEST BADASS WEAPON -> NANOSUIT XD*
“You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight” classic
To my knowledge, all of the "stranger cruises into town with a coffin/guitar case/baby carriage which is actually a superweapon" stuff comes from the original Django, a spaghetti western from 1966 that inspired around 50 unofficial sequels/remakes, and certainly El Mariachi and its remake, Desperado. He's dragging a small coffin in the opening which ends up being a case for some monstrous 20 barrel machinegun.
judge dredd's pistol
Lawgiver
Seriously. I was so sure this was gonna be in here.
Agreed. That SHOULD be on there.
Agree.. should have been in this list
Bloody Axe totally agree. The only reason I would give this leg-gun a place is in "ridiculous movie weapons".
the pulse rifle : my dream gun
same man
While not being very common, the .475 Wildey Magnum is most famous for its appearance in Death Wish 3, where the Wildey (chambered for this cartridge) was a signature weapon of Paul Kersey, a character portrayed by Charles Bronson (using his own personal Wildey firearm) in the Death Wish film series.
Bullet diameter:
.475 in (12.1 mm)
Case capacity:
38 gr H2O (2.5 cm3)
Case length:
1.198 in (30.4 mm)
.475 Wildey Magnum
wheres the m16 from scarface
This!!!
Totally agree 100 percent.
cant believe it wasn't even mentioned let alone not on the list...i was waiting for it to be number 1
where is the small gun in men in black? dafaq
aaron lao Ah the Noisy Cricket and Agent J. Good times. Good times.
The cricket
My thoughts exactly. Every other alien movie mad the list why not MIB
The Colt Peacemaker is in almost every Western movie. How is it not here?
Agree with Robocop's pistol and Han's blaster. Needs the shotgun from T2 judgement day, noisy cricket from Men in Black, probably the Springfield 1903 from Saving Private Ryan, Beretta 92 from Lethal Weapon, Assault Rifle from Starship Troopers and 50 Cal Hawken from Jeremiah Johnson.
"SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!! M16 with M203 grenade launcher on 1983 Scarface!"
My movie weapon of choice is the M60E3, light, powerful, and reliable!.
BTW, the Aliens Pulse Rifle was mechanically based on the M1928 Thompson SMG, another legendary movie gun that deserved some screen time here :D
Yes the Tommy Gun deserved some love. I was surprised there was no AK though.
Mp 40 is great. Too bad it is illegal in California.
electroguy2007
I wonder if you could get a cali-compliant semi auto with a longer barrel and fixed stock?
Really? I thought it more closely resembled the H&K G11... same caliber & caseless ammo, etc.
M60= light....r u ok?
The Sharps Buffalo rifle, from "Quigley Down Under".
Elysium - Chemrail Rifle
Men in black -Noisy Cricket
Shooter - 50 Caliber Rifle
Funny enough, Han Solo's DL-44 blaster is a modified Mauser C96 prop, and the "Aliens" M41A Pulse rifle is a Thompson Submachinegun prop with some Extra shell added on. The "Grenade launcher" as it's called is actually a modified Spas 12 shotgun prop.
There are plenty more examples of old guns in star wars, like leia's defender sporting blaster (Vostok Margolin .22LR target pistol), the Empires' BlasTech E-11 blaster rifle (Sterling submachinegun), The Rebels' BlasTech DH-17 Blaster Pistol (also Sterling submachinegun, but more heavily modified), The Rebels' BlasTech A280 and A295 blaster rifles (STG 44 and M16) and lot's more.
what is it with old guns in sci-fi films?
I recall seeing a modified MG34 being used by Storm Troopers as well.
Y u no su much?
I like movies and I like guns. probably more than the average person.
Daniel Seames yup. I said there were lots more.
They wanted something that looked somewhat realistic and really it's easier to modify a gun that exists to look like it came from another galaxy than it is to build it from the ground up. Besides they look Damn good.
I was really expecting the Lawgiver to be somewhere in this video.
+Jace Carpenter
Fuck yeah!
+Jace Carpenter Far more original and iconic than some of the stock standard guns that made the list. You fail again, Watchmojo.
The lever action 10 gauge shotgun from T2 should have been on this list and number 2. I have a working one in a 12 gauge and they are fun.
Robocop’s sidearm was my fav when I was a kid in the 80’s
My #1 "SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND"
And for #2 the weird gun from the Fifth Element.
Zorg ZF-1?
do not use the translate
Trisha Crawford Sorry, I used translate...was too curious lol, but yeah the ZF1 woulda been nice
