Eh, $140 for a bare bones entry level with garbage stabs is a bit of a stretch. I get that it's in stock almost always, but there are going to be four 65% boards in constant buying cycles between the N65, Portico, Ikki68 Aurora, and KBD67 that are going to be much better.
At that price, the junk stabilizers and the creaking are deal breakers for me... cut the price by 50$ then maybe, we get in the same range as the GK46X which require the exact same mods you talk about and can get very good when given a little love.
