I cannot get over what reporter said, "... blood...DNA test..." Parents had to give a sample of their blood, because there was NO OTHER WAY to IDENTIFY THE CHILD. Think about that.

I am sobbing and I can’t stop it. Honestly, it shouldn’t have done so at the innocent-aged adolescents’ place, school. I am so compassionate for all the parents who had lost their sweethearts.
I cried a little earlier this afternoon. Our grandchild who is 12, and did not go to school today at my request, asked me if he could go to school tomorrow. I quickly said NO!. He walked away. I called him back. I said to him, "son, ask your father if you can go to school tomorrow". And he left me. I cried when he left. Our grandchildren have feelings too. The young ones have friends. You and I were once 12 years of age too.

Oh these poor people don’t deserve this. No one would. I can’t imagine, our daughter is 19 now and I’m young at 39 today. I worry about her over simple things and this is just beyond sad.

Honestly, I'm lost for words.. these things shouldn't be happening, I was in 7th grade when the Sandy Hooks Elementary shooting happened, now graduated class of 2018, this stuff scared me, when Sandy happened my teacher broke down in the middle of class and explained to us about what happened, we were terrified and because of what happened our school was placed on modified lockdown and we had Law Enforcement at almost all the schools watching it for the rest of the week.
I give my prayers to the families who were affected by such evil acts.
they were escorting the same kids out twice and then obama took selfies with the ones that were suppose to be deleted after the fact . there were actors everywhere too one of the parents was also acting as one of the fake swat members

jesus. imagine being those teachers. what their last thoughts were. imagine growing up and wanting to teach kids kindness, respect, and responsibility. the reason teachers become teachers is because they are so caring and loving and want to share that with others. imagine in your last moments you are doing the absolute best you can to protect those kids. they literally could run for your life and they could have saved themselves, but knowing there was a high percentage chance of them dying they chose to attempt/and save the kids. those are true hero's. not batman and robin. the people who chose to give up there life to save others.
Imagine wanting to be a teacher to indoctrinate students into your political ideology and sharing your homosexual experiences with 10 year olds and trying to convince students they are really a girl when they are clearly a boy. Such heroes. Pffft.

What is sad this is a close-knit community they know each other they had no signs that this kid was on rocks and how the hell did the kid get inside the school that's my question. I heard about this at work and couldn’t focus the rest of my shift. Truly an abhorrent act. Incredibly cruel. The level of callousness and disregard for human life is.. terrifying. Poor kids man. This is one of those things I hear about that keeps me up at night, mind racing. So so sad.
May these innocent Souls never be forgotten and may the families grieve in love and light . This broke my heart. May everyone Rest In Peace. I can’t imagine. So sorry for everyone that lost a child. This community is strong! But it’s so tragic
Once again the world stops to try and wrap our minds about how these babies were shot and killed. They had just had award ceremonies, some were in class just doing whatever is planned for that morning. Innocence at its finest, and then shattered. We hope they had no time to know the fear inside that should never be known at that age and for a reason they were too young to understand. Parents dropped off their kids that morning, with a routine that they’ll see there little ones after school. What’s also so mind shattering is the parents having to give a DNA sample because of the truth of their wounds. We had to turn off the tv and had no sleep because of the details. Our hearts break for each and every family member and their sweet babies.
How do we stop this? Gun control? Stiffer laws to obtain a weapon? Longer wait times to get a weapon? Psychological testing? Send people to a camp to learn to use a weapon and again find out why you need something so destructive? Make it politically correct on a forum to boost votes? Maybe yes to do all of it. Evil came to visit that young man that morning, and pushed him to do acts we would never ever, ever think do. Our own families been victims to a murder not once but twice. We to know the pain of loosing a lil one to a gun accident. We know the pain of it all. One still to fresh to be over, “if ever we’ll be over”. Life just goes on, when you want to scream “please everyone stop, do you realize who we lost”!! But in reality life does just go on……. Just a different normal. But no normal you want it to be. We stand with the families who’ve lost a sweet baby to this heinous act. And pray for Gods Mercy, and Grace.

What I would like to know is what moron purchases 2 guns as soon as he turns 18, shoots his own grandmother, and than murders 9 year old kids and their teachers. NOBODY has a reason, that kid will be punished severely and i send out my prayers to the families of those who lost their children and family that day. Absolutely heartbreaking

Mental illness/ depression. I'm not backing him up and i do NOT condone school shootings, but i think you people need to achknowledge that these school shooters aren't "evil". It's almost always caused by people going through extreme metal problems. I've been depressed before, it got pretty bad. So i can understand atleast where they come from. The media keeps glossing over the fact that the first officers on scene waited outside for backup for nearly an hour as the shooter killed kids inside.
Totally false. The 18 year old was in a standoff with police officers for about a half-hour after firing on students and teachers, then locked himself inside a room, which allowed other officers to be able to get the other kids out. After about an hour when other kids and teachers were safe, they broke in and shot him

The Bath School disaster happened in 1927 when a dude threw dynamite into a school and shot the survivors, 38 kids died and 6 other people were killed. Literally 80%+ of the countries population is incapable of critical thinking or even picking up a history book.

There isn't much I can really say, but I really do hope that this incident shapes who you are without it *being* who you are. You can overcome this (even if often you may feel like it's disrespectful to the kids who died to move on; that they would want you to remember. But even if they didn't know you that well I can guarantee that they would have wanted you to become a stronger person. I've kind of ended up rambling, but you get the jest of it. Stay strong.

They will come back quicker then most. Children have a lot to accomplish and often return quickly. Some will need some counseling when they return. They probably wont get it. Look for them in your visions or dream/visions.
I'd like for that guy to please elaborate on how he's planning on stopping this from happening again. The major problem with the world we live in, there's not really anything one, or even an entire government of people can do. Unfortunately getting a gun, printing a gun, is too easy. I'm not even talking about doing it the legal route by going in to a store, filling out the proper paperwork, etc. That can and should be harder to get a gun that way, however, if someone wants to commit something horrible like this, they will find a means to do it. Regardless of if you make owning a gun harder to come across, or even outright illegal. The people that want to do harm, will still find a way to get a gun or any other weapon to do this. So if that guy was talking about something to do with owning guns, etc. I think we live in a world that is way too far past using that as a solution. I for one, have always been scared of guns, but with everything going on these days, I feel like the average person SHOULD own a gun. Specifically because of situations like this, and the Tops grocery store shooting. I'd rather be someone that is scared of guns, but owns one the legal way and has one on them for situations like these where an average person might just be able to stop it from going farther. They interviewed a man that could have had that opportunity, had he had his gun with him, when he interacted with the shooter when he crashed his truck. So I'm just saying as a person that wishes guns just never existed to begin with, I understand that we live in a world where it's too easy for bad people to get weapons illegally. So if anything, at this point in history, I'd actually recommend the average person to learn how to use a gun, and purchase one for their own protection, and possibly to help protect others around them from similar fucked up situations like this.

so then what will stop people from making bombs and killing even more kids? The deadliest school killing in US history was a bombing where 38 kids died + 6 adults . The tool doesnt matter its probably even better guns are popular instead of the old school fire bombings and dynamite attacks. Columbine is a perfect example of this, had their bombs gone off 300+ kids would have died but since they didnt go off only 24 died because its really hard to kill more that around that many people with just a regular firearm.

Gun violence is making the once greatest country in the world a pathetic place. Just think how sad it is when the airport safety check is needed at grade schools to keep the children safe, and yes, this is how serious it is, although we don't have any metal detectors set up at schools yet, and we probably should. So far, nothing has done to stem gun violence and increase safety, if anything, teachers are trained to sacrifice themselves in cases of shooting. Basically, the only action the government and the educational system have taken is to make teachers human shields so they can continue to make profit out of gun sells. Oh say can you see???

This 18 year old is not old enough to drink, but he was able to buy guns online. It has to be across the board. I do not like the tone of the reporting of these shootings. Much much more needs to be emphasized, the shooter was a victim too, of what, does anybody care? it doesnt sound like it, where are the cracks in our system, thats what needs to be focused on. You want the shootings to stop then we need to stop the superficial reporting and really unravel what is causing this phenomina, and I think a big part is that they know they will finally get attention from the media. So needless and yet the driving force is that they apparently feel slighted and want revenge and they know the media will make them famous. its just awful, perfectly awful. The worst part is that the media makes it even worse because you start going after gun owners, and maybe it should be gun sellers mmmm?

It is clear former Homeland Security deputy Kucinelli recommends teachers carry guns rather than banning assault weapons and body armor. He just praised border patrol swat for taking down the shooter. It was glaringly obvious in the report Kucinelli participated in that the armed police that tried to take the shooter down at the school couldn't penetrate the armor of the shooter, only a swat rifle was able to take him down. Instead Kucinelli made a passionate criticisism of Beto O'Rourke for his stand against Abbott and readily available assault weapons for an 18 year old. ONLY IN AMERICA!

If you are a felon, with no 2nd amendment rights to bear arms" But you are bearing arms for self defense illegally. And your in a place, were there's a mass shooter, then you kill that mass shooter. Do you go to prison for killing that mass shooter? Or do you be defenseless not bearing arms, due to not being able to bear arms as a felon?
That's a very specific senario that has probably never happened and will probably never happen. The correct answer is you get shot by police because they think you're the shooter, because that happens more often then a citizen using self defense to take out a shooter.

And if they do make it before the carnage is over, they negotiate if the shooter is white, but shoot to kill if the shooter is any other nationality....

Even as a single, full-time working mom, I successfully homeschooled my kids during the 'plandemic' and was considering letting them return to in-person next year. With the craziness and volatility in the world and our communities, homeschooling will continue. I think I can do a better job anyway and will be happy to know I am not dependent on their indoctrination system. Make the necessary sacrifices for your children, consider homeschool. Their precious lives might depend on it. Remember, the system was never 'for us' to begin with.

I can't stand this news channel because it's more about helping Congress than helping these people to have just lost in the morning their children what the hell is going on here this is not your fault this is for these people that are suffering they need true people that care about them and to help them that knows what it's like to lose somebody they love these congressmen need to get out of this scene and this news reporter she needs to get off of it too
