A lot of them at ESPN stood up for us. It was FOX sports that was cheering us out the playoff. I have no problem with Bama who did it right or Texas who did it right and Georgia who did it right it's Michigan who got caught cheating and are now #1.
@@robtrout5183 no sir it's go Noles over here as well too. When your best player goes out and you struggle with Louisville, And don't tell me about Auburn because Auburn would wipe FSU. The committee did their job which was hard but they got the right four. I mean FSU is the 6th at best team here. Stop just stop
Any fan of an ACC team celebrating this is truly an idiot. They literally told all of us no team from our conference belongs in the top 4 ever again. And the 12 team playoff won't help. They will be putting SEC teams with 3 and 4 losses ahead of 1 and 2 loss (or even undefeated) ACC teams.
I am a life long Georgia Bulldog. A graduate, a scholarship athlete and a great lover and admirer of our football program. That said I think what has happened to Florida State is a travesty. To leave you out so they could bring in two one loss teams like alabama and Texas ? They should be ashamed. They should all be removed. The entire system should be burned to the ground. My team dropped from number 1 where we had been all season, to number 6 by losing to a one loss, not so good alabama team. That hurts like sin. But it is nowhere close to what they did to you.
I'm a Clemson fan but I do agree that Florida St got screwed on this when they definitely deserved to be in it ... But to clemson defense they was getting questioned ever year regardless of how good they did , especially with that strength of schedule narrative. They always down on the acc for some reason ... Its all politics anymore ..
It's all about tv ratings. Michigan vs Bama in the Rose Bowl is going to get high tv ratings than Washington vs FSU in whatever bowl game. Typical SEC bias
so at the end of the day if you believe fsu should be in that means bama shouldn’t schedule any rank out of conference teams strength of schedule doesn’t matter rank wins don’t matter
At this point FSU is actually about the 7th best team in the country. Both Oregon and Ohio State would likely beat them as well as everybody in the CFP.
I’m no FSU fan so I come at this with no bias or agenda. FSU got screwed because there’s no way on earth there will ever be a playoff without an SEC team. Never. ESPN will not let it happen. Herbsreit et al started laying the groundwork for this weeks ago when they were pimping for Bama and Georgia being in. Imagine if the Bama QB got hurt, they barely won their last games, their offense sputtered, and they got left out. The narrative would be completely different today. They’d be talking about Bamas resiliency and ability to come together and win and they deserved to be in.
Yep. Husker fan, no dog in the fight, don't care about FSU, FSU got screwed. This argument about "who's the best team" is completely ridiculous. Sometimes the "best team" loses. It happens all the time in sports. You can be the best team all season and lose when it counts and get left out. Look what LITERALLY just happened to Georgia. They were the best team all year and they lost when they couldn't afford to lose. That's what happens in sports. You don't know who's going to win before it happens, if you did, everybody would be rich from sports betting.

@philliprailey7788 injuries had no impact on why fsu didn't get in. 2014 ohio state qb went down everyone counted them out next man up one them a national championship. There's no excuse to Florida state out with an undefeated season that qb would have a month to prepare for the bowl game more than enough time to be prepared to take the field if this was alabama in Florida state position I can guarantee you they would be calling for the committees heads.

4 best teams. Nobody cares about a perfect record because that has never been the ultimate deciding factor in college football. That’s why Liberty ain’t in either. Nobody outside of FSU’s fan base truly believes that they are better than any of the top 4 teams.
What drove the decision? Politics, religious fervor in favor of SEC, money, Bias against ACC, NOT WINNING RECORD. Why play 15 weeks of football in Fall? Just play one game in November n decide who goes to play off. It is a disastrous decision disadvantaging a whole lot of athletes who played their hearts out for the entire season n won every game.
You can blame TCUs public execution last year. There was no way the playoff committee and TV networks were gonna risk a repeat of that travesty because they don't make money when people change the channel at halftime.
@@jasonwilliamson8416 I don’t blame TCU. I blame espn and the committee cause that’s where it belongs. I hear a lawsuit is coming and possibly a boycott
They were determined to get an SEC team in the final four, even if that had to screw an undefeated ACC champion to do it. They were praying FSU would lose to Louisville but FSU did what they’ve done all season - find a way to win. I hope the money was worth screwing these kids out of their championship opportunity. They were going to exclude FSU no matter what. If the Seminoles had beaten #14 Louisville by 40 points and Glenn threw 5 touchdowns they would have still put Alabama in over FSU. This was fixed a long time ago.
We have video proof of collusion between the committee and ESPN. I eagerly wait for a lawsuit which will lead to an injunction to put Florida St and Liberty in the playoffs
No Bama is just better. By the way Georgia is the one that got disrespected by being behind FSU . Georgia is a much better team the joke noles. He'll Kentucky is better than them . enjoy getting beat down by the dawgs.
Hey guess what Alabama knocked off the number one team in college football and punched their ticket. But I don't see anyone bitching about 1 loss big 12 team Texas getting in too. It's because all of college football is jealous of the sec. Yall hate them and it shows.
Two things. Alabama is first team to reach the playoffs while being outside the top 6 and the SEC bias continues as the committee placed an SEC team into the playoffs this year making an SEC team to reach the playoffs in every CFP.
As a Die Hard LSU fan, i don't agree with the decision at all. FSUs 13-0 season was a team effort and they should be awarded as such. This is all about the money!!!
Totally agree. I’m an LSU fan also, but I thought FSU should’ve got in. I don’t care if it’s Bama or Texas that should be out but FSU should absolutely be in.
FSU should be in? Why? Because it's "fair"? If you gave a shit about fair, why's it FSU who's getting screwed and not [undefeated conference champion with intact key starters who won all their games a lot more convincingly] Liberty? They're in the CFP too, so why are they less deserving than Florida State?
@RayW.... Just so you know, I'm a die hard LSU fan but I'm also a Bama fan. My wife graduated from Bama andI my little cousin,( Devante Smith ) played for Bama. My house hold supports both LSU and Bama. I'm all about principle. My wife( a graduate from Bama ) agrees with me and others as well
Another huge question is why they didn’t take Michigan’s cheating scandal into account. They admitted they cheated and agreed to his three game suspension. That means they knew they cheated. And apparently their offensive stats went way down after the scandal came to light. How come that was never taken into account by the committee? Should’ve left those cheaters out and put FSU in.
NCAA investigation into Michigan is ongoing. Harbaugh denies any knowledge of illegal sign stealing and no evidence has yet been presented that contradicts that. B1G suspended Harbaugh for violating their Sportsmanship Policy. Not an admission to anything. Without any final conclusion, it would be premature to punish Michigan yet.
Now, I feel bad for the Florida State squad for this. However, Sign stealers are legal in our sport. Since all the teams we played still had theirs and we were short other staff members as well, It is plausible we had to work alil harder in those games due to the self inflected situation. Also, Due to the high standards at Michigan they went ahead and let it play out instead of turning it into a bigger shit show.🤷 Go Blue!
@@CharlesB.82 yes, sign stealing is legal, but no, it is not legal to record it during practice, or to send out legions of people to take video back to your school. And Michigan obviously knows they did something wrong since they agreed to the suspension. The point is nobody can be sure what competitive advantage was gained from this just like nobody can really be sure what disadvantage can be had from losing your quarterback. You continue to win and that’s the point.
Saying this as a Miami fan, this is the most ridiculous decision the committee has ever made. Their reasoning for putting Bama in is because they were “unequivocally better” and they are trying to get the “4 best teams”. So Bama and Georgia battle to a 27-24 game. Committee determines Alabama is definitely better than FSU, but Georgia is definitely not and ranks them at #6 with FSU #5. Incredibly interesting take. I’d bet had Bama not converted that Hail Mary against Auburn but still beat Georgia in the SEC championship, the committee would have ranked Georgia at #4 over FSU just to ensure the SEC got in at all costs.
FSU fan. I totally agree. There was no way an SEC team would be left out. The ONLY way FSU was in was a Georgia win. Since Alabama won, they had to put Texas in bc they beat them at home.
Exactly! They knew the plans all along! I was telling my dad this yesterday. They would have ignored the lost and did a repeat of TCU losing last year in the title game. The shit is a sham and the 12 team playoff is about to make it worst! They are going to allow the SEC and Big10 to basically only play games in conference so the only comparison is internal. Then the top 10-11 teams will be preset every year as the top SEC teams mixed with Michigan, ohio state, penn state, USC, Washington Oregon. There will be 1 or 2 wildcards for a 2-3 lost SEC team vs an ACC champ or Big 12 champ. They will guarantee that the SEC and Big10 champs and runner ups get a bye week to help them. No one will care as long as they get in the playoff about the 4 teams anymore. But you can see how that will be an advantage and ensure they can continue to rig this.
It’s time for ESPN to let go of certain talking heads. Some of them have too much power and influence and control the narrative of the college football, which resulted in FSU getting left out. Herbstriet and Reece Davis have way too much power. It’s time for a change, for the sake of college football.
surprised that shitban...errrrrr saban can walk with everyone at ESPN swinging, by their mouths, from his Hogg...not about the sec, all about shitban and his crimson $hite...still remembering last year when the committee was exploring all avenues to put a 2 loss bama, with their NFL bust qb, in the playoffs...
Without a doubt, this is a terrible precedent to set in sports. The CFP Committee must be held accountable for the SEC bias. It has gone on for far too long.
Nonsense. If it were bias .... the SEC would have blown every opportunity to win the natty .... like the Big10 has done. The SEC has had two or three of the best teams every year since 2006 ... deal with it.
Exactly, interesting that the CFP committee put us at 5, when there is a huge financial incentive for them, but the AP and Coaches has us in the top 4 when they don't have a financial incentive.
@brooksider37 Remind me how many Undefeated SEC teams there are? Oh wait.... Remind me what the record between the SEC and ACC this year? Oh wait.... Whether or not you think FSU would have gotten smoked is irrelevant. Undefeated and win a power 5 championship means nothing is what this Committee decided. 1 loss Bama and 1 loss Texas were handed gifts at the hands of corrupt powers that be.
@@AceWillliams - Jordan Travis got injured 3 games ago. Why didn't they drop way out of the rankings at that time? FSU beat Florida the following week with their backup QB, 24-15. EJ Manuel absolutely did not justify FSU being snubbed. EJ was and is appalled by their decision. He's been one of the most vocal of all former FSU Players.
@@td454 I remember on the air (ACCNation last night) he pointed out that the key reason for the exclusion was due to Travis's injury but if that is the case, then the rankings are based on QB availability which heavily influences the rankings before the team which I believe should be the key factor in these rankings. I think if the committee believes FSU cannot qualify, show all the votes to prove this was already determined before hand which I think raises a good point, why play the conference title game if the decision has already been decided and have the decency to tell that to each FSU personnel and especially the coach.

Does FSU go into Atlanta and beat unbeaten Georgia with a QB who had 55 yards and not a single touchdown against Louisville? Hell no. If you wanna adopt an "It doesn't matter FSU had less quality wins, they deserve it more because they didn't lose" stance, I'd argue Liberty has a stronger claim to the spot than FSU because they have all the same upsides as FSU (undefeated conference champions) but didn't struggle nearly as much against their opponents AND still have all their key starters.

I don't think that it is SEC bias, it's Alabama bias. Several years ago Bama won a championship by beating LSU 21-0. They picked Bama over Okie State because Saban pitched a fit. LSU beat Bama that year on Bama's home field. LSU won the SEC that year and if Okie State didn't lose their last game, Okie State would have been in the NC game. Saban had a fit and started complaining to the NCAA selection committee. Bama was let in and OKIE State was left out. I honestly thought that FSU would definitely be in the playoffs but I was wrong. I'm not surprised that Bama was picked and I won't be surprised if they win it all. Do you remember when Auburn was undefeated and didn't go anywhere? I question if they'll conclude they may as well end the playoffs and declare who they think will win the National Championship as the recipient without playing for who's the better team. Then project and declare the conference champions as well irrespective of their records. The immorality, lack of ethical discipline, and corruption from the NCAA should cause the people to demand the meetings on the governing process for championship playoff teams, and on the corruption on referees making intentional false calls, and intentionally not making legitimate calls and holding them accountable by sufficient suspensions or firing should be televised for the world to see. I believe it would help in reinforcing morality, ethics, and minimize or eliminate the opportunity for corruption. It is satanic the many decisions they've made this year because who's gonna hold them accountable? Nobody! Now we have the NCAA who is supposed to be the governing body now we the people must govern the NCAA, or replace them permanently all who are complicit by votin in favor of the corruptive acts

Everyone shows up to the orange bowl, practice all week, athletes get their gear, game starts, after the first snap, politely decline to continue the game. Walk off the field. The ACC, NCAA, and CFP are forced to do something. 3 hours of dead air time and some pissed off sponsors will hit their wallets.
yes, this is exactly what needs to happen. Hell, even UGA players would be happy as they wouldn't miss their chance for risk of injury especially for those who are draft eligible. Definitely need to start some type of petition. @@OnlyNolesknow
I hate this FSU, the fix was in even before Jordan Travis got hurt. The eSECpn machine was pushing this narrative about "best" all November. I think the plan was to get Bama and UGA in the playoffs, but Texas won out and ruin UGA's chances.
2014...Preseason: Ohio State looked like they were a team destined for a spot in the first ever College Football Playoff at the FBS level. Then, before the season, OSU lost Braxton Miller, their starting QB. So, redshirt freshman J.T. Barrett had to play a vast majority of the season, and he played very well. Then, in the last game of the year, Barrett went down with a season ending injury, and the preseason third string QB, Cardale Jones led the Buckeyes to a Big Ten championship, an unlikely CFP berth, and eventually, a national championship in the inaugural CFP final. A preseason third string QB, who didn't become the starter until the Big Ten Championship Game. The CFP committee included the Buckeyes even though they had two QBs out with injuries. And then OSU won it all. That is called a precedent. An injury to a prime player didn't stop the committee in 2014 from putting the buckeyes into the playoffs. And that's why the committee has to try and convince people that Travis' injury wasn't the reason FSU dropped from 4th to 5th. Of course, most people know that's not true.
The same year TCU was raked 3d Ohio state was 5th. Their reasoning : no big !2 championship game. But TCU and Baylor were co champions. It was their worst decision until this year. Even though /OSU won. The leaving out of Georgia is what shook me. There is no way in hell, Georgia isn’t flop 4.even if they are 1 they def are not 6. Washington 2nd by virtue of Georgua losing id eilf. Top 4 should be: 1. Michigan, 2. Washington . 3. FSU 4. Georgia 5. Alabama 6. Texas. While Texas beat Alabama, the bame and north teams are different and that win would be a loss now.
The committee, at the end, got it right, sort of. They should have stayed away from the injury thing. Bottom line, with the 55th sos, FSU never should have been ranked that high in the first place… if you buy into the ranking system.
If Milroe was hurt and Alabama had to start their 3rd string quarterback against Georgia in the SEC championship game and beat Georgia, I bet the committee would let Alabama play in the playoffs.I bet the committee wouldn't say that Alabama is a different team without Milroe
I recently found this channel and yesterday was the first time I've seen y'all live. I loved it, and think you guys really spoke for all us Nole fans. I've been in shambles over this for the past 24 hours and I'm glad you guys are the voice of reason in all the fake BS.

This reminds me of years ago our high school football team went undefeated and beat the second place team that had only one loss from our school. A point system was used taking in to consideration strength of schedule including out of conference opponents. Head to head matchups did not matter. That second place team went to the state championship game whereas my high school was done for the season. Today they have all eligbile with the start of district play the last 3 games of the schedule for all teams. I would have picked FSU. The team earned it. Mizzou fan
Question is why aren't you mad at the other team that got in? Plus is strength of your opponents shouldn't matter then what's the use of scheduling good opponents? Might as well just play mtsu every week
I agree strength of schedule does matter and would have understood the Committee if this was a tie breaker situation of one loss teams. I would have even understood the injured starting quarterback scenario better. Florida State is undefeated in a power five comference and Texas beat Alabame head to head both one loss teams. I thought Mizzou had a good non conference schedule this year with Middle Tennessee and Memphis to try and build momenum and Kansas State as a test of stength. Mizzou was certainly not coming in as a power house and needed to keep improving. Memphis did fine this tear. I do get your point though about loading up on small schools being a meaningless game and do not like them. They are like a practice game. @@kenfelder6478
@larryloveless2967 I agree, I got excited to see the home and home with Texas a couple years ago... I'm excited for Texas Michigan next year. But I think college football about to go into a golden age of teams really having to fight all year. Big game by big games week to week
All I know about who should have gotten in was Bama... now all the rest is up for grabs for me but Bama with that strength of schedule should not have been put out for dropping one game with the hardest schedule of all the teams being considered to be in
They were shocked because now they have to "Cheat" steal signs from the Alabama football team now. They probably had someone at the FSU/Louisville game stealing signs! LOL
Sorry for Noles Nation. They deserved the opportunity. The reason I think they did this was last years national championship game. They were worried about a TCU debacle. Yes, TCU deserved to be there. But everyone knew it was not going to be pretty. That's not to say FSU would have laid an egg. It's just that the selection committee worried about the revenue .
TCU also won its semi-final... then sports happened and they had a horrible game. Worst blow out since Clemson trucked Alabama... did Alabama not belong that year?
WE ARE NOT TCU🤨!!! WHY EVERYONE KEEPS COMPARING US TO TCU?…TCU DOESN’T HAVE THE SAME NFL CALIBER OF PLAYERS WE DO…WE WON MULTIPLE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS HOW MANY DOES TCU HAVE? WE ALWAYS COMPETE WITH THE MIGHTY SEC…WE AREN’T SCARED TO PLAY ANYBODY THAT’S BOBBY BOWDEN BUILT THIS PROGRAM….

You forgot Dan Orlovsky, Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe, who each said two Mondays ago on First Take, that an undefeated FSU team is in. Dan Orlovsky even lead off the segment telling Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe, "If FSU beats Florida and beats Louisville, they are in! But, Stephen A. I feel THEY would come up with a reason to keep FSU out!" Dan Orlovsky actually said that! Then, Stephen A. Smith actually mocked and blasted Dan Orlovsky for being over-emotion, over-dramatic, claiming, "If FSU wins out they are in!" Shannon Sharpe immediately agreed. THEN, last week, something changed! They each claimed and asked, "Should FSU be left out due to Jordan Travis' injury?" Keep in mind for over a month ESPN had Paul Finebaum out there spewing he "Should an undefeated Florida State team be left out? Asking a question, which wasn't a question at all, it was his attempt to forward that failed and flawed narrative! All i have to say to the alum/fans of other programs is, what are you going to do, when what happened to FSU happens to your program? So, be careful trolling FSU fans on the chat, because turnabout is fair play!
expansion next year so that is not true at all. Unfortunately the committee knew that as well. If this was the conversation last year I bet they keep FSU in. But now they can hide behind the expanded playoff.
Step 1 Sue the playoff committee and ESPN Step 2. Win the lawsuit and get in the playoffs If step 2 is denied, Step 3. Boycott and get the ACC to boycott their bowl games
T.J. I was literally in Hog Town this morning and Gate fans were stopping me and telling me how much of a joke the committee was for not putting FSU in. I was literally a couple of miles from the drain field...I mean swamp and they're telling me this.
what gets me is Alabama barely beat auburn, a 6-6 team that lost to new mexico state, never talked about. Washington barely beat a 2 win arizona state and only scored 15 on them. Washington struggled against a 2 win Stanford, never mentioned. Michigan had almost the exact yardage and points as fsu, but they had their starting qb against Iowa, never talked about. fsu defense held the number 11 team with a top 20 offense to 2 field goals and under 200 yards
You are spot on. If Iowa could've brought some sort of offense with them, even ordinary like an average team, that game would've been different. Michigan has been unimpressive lately.
Games won on the field used to matter. This decision says the games played before conference games don't matter anymore. Only who you beat in conference and there previous seasons win.
@@TPizzle96and did Kentucky play. No so why bring it up. One team can have a bad week and lose to Kentucky and then go to the next week and win. So it doesn't matter this kentucky beat them so by proxy kentucky would be better
One unbiased source for rating teams is the betting line. They don't care about feelings or fan base .... just who should be expected to win and by how much. UGA is a 13 pt fav over FSU.
FSU's best win was Bama's third best win. FSU's strength of schedule is ranked 55 Alabama strength of schedule is ranked 5 and Texas SOS is 13, and Georgia's SOS is 37. FSU had wins over three ranked teams and Bama has wins over four ranked teams. All of FSU's opponents collectively have a record of 77 - 79 and Bama's collective opponents have a record of 98 - 61. One of FSU's wins is a 5 - 7 Florida. FSU blew a 21 point lead on Boston College, needed overtime against Clemson, and trailed at home in the second half to Duke before Riley Leonard exited with an injury.
1. We can't control that, we can only beat every team in front of us. Bama COULDN'T. 2. Our Strength of Resume is 3rd. Bama is 4th, Texas is 5th and Georgia is 7th. 3. Since it seemed the committee was "freezing" ranked wins we had 4 along with Bama, but also again, we can only play who is in front of us. It isn't our fault the ACC beat up on each other. 4. Okay we beat 5-7 UF in the Swamp, at a rivalry game. What's the issue? Bama beat their rival on a literal hail mary play and should have lost. 5. Yes we struggled against BC, just like Bama struggled against USF, a WORSE team than BC. Or also how they struggled against Arkansas? 6. We beat a decent Clemson team IN Death Valley, a very difficult thing to do. 6. Again, Duke was a ranked opponent who we beat. It doesn't matter how it looked, we didn't lose, unlike Bama.
They need to start referring to it as the Power 2 conference since they think the ACC who has won championships recently is basiythe MEAC. Fucking ridiculous and Wins and losses don’t matter
No fan of ESPN, but they didn't make the decision. If you want to blame someone, blame the ACC Commissioner. He voted against expanding the playoff to 12 teams for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. FSU should be putting pressure on the ACC to go to bat for them or get out of the "basketball of yesterday" conference. FSU can right it all by beating UGA. My guess... FSU will not even score and the QB will get hurt. FSU has not seen the likes of a UGA or UA pass rush defense. Of the two SEC teams they beat, one has a losing record and the other had a inside points shaving issue....
Annual Playoff Flexibility is the key. This requires a simple 8 team playoff: 8 team playoff required Michigan Washington Florida State Texas Alabama Georgia Liberty Ohio State

Perhaps but unfortunately that's not Reality
But you can see how that will be an advantage and ensure they can continue to rig this.
sorry but I could argue UGA should have been #4. committee got it right
exactly, 100%. They much rather fuck over a undefeated team outside of the SEC then have a SEC team not make the playoffs.

Nonsense. If it were bias .... the SEC would have blown every opportunity to win the natty .... like the Big10 has done. The SEC has had two or three of the best teams every year since 2006 ... deal with it.
So you think FSU is better than Bama right now? That’s crazy
Why still rank them so high at that time?

How did the narrative change AFTER the selection? Why didn't the narrative change BEFORE the selection but AFTER the conference championship games?
Stephen A. Smith was quoted on Friday (First Take) that "there was no way in hell that an sec team will be left out of the playoffs ". Yup, SEC is their money not ACC. I thought networks were suppose to support all schools but really, no. Booger and RG3 I respect and the ACCN covering this yesterday with a former FSU E.J. Emanuel justifying this snub.

Alright, if you think FSU this year is better than Alabama, swap both teams' opponents from the last game and tell me how it plays out. Does Alabama, who dogwalked Kentucky, lose to the Louisville team Kentucky AND Pitt beat? Highly doubtful.

I wouldn't be surprised if the fix is in for personal gain for NCAA official/officials and for the casinos. Why have a playoff if they are gonna make their own decisions on who should be eligible in spite of their records for the season. Nobody!
@larryloveless2967 I agree, I got excited to see the home and home with Texas a couple years ago... I'm excited for Texas Michigan next year. But I think college football about to go into a golden age of teams really having to fight all year. Big game by big games week to week
All I know about who should have gotten in was Bama... now all the rest is up for grabs for me but Bama with that strength of schedule should not have been put out for dropping one game with the hardest schedule of all the teams being considered to be in
I always thought NFL was scripted for the money now we know college is as well.
We all saw that Michigan reaction to the news. They were shocked because they knew FSU got screwed.
Not even close. They reacted to the FACT that Alabama is going to kick their asses........LOL
They were shocked because now they have to "Cheat" steal signs from the Alabama football team now. They probably had someone at the FSU/Louisville game stealing signs! LOL
@jasonbarnes2036 sign stealing is legal genius. So is advanced scouting for the playoffs.
You know good and well that's not why they were shocked lol
We going to Roll Tide bama ass right out Pasadena. GO BLUE
Yeah their own, ESPN/Disney are tied into this and they have NEVER liked us
TCU also won its semi-final... then sports happened and they had a horrible game. Worst blow out since Clemson trucked Alabama... did Alabama not belong that year?
That’s why DeSantis is driving Disney out of Florida lol
No they couldn't have a cfp with an SEC team.that is why they did it.
OSU fan here. What about our 2014 year with a 3rd string Cardale?? This is a travesty! You prove it on the field. Dont say, "well, your PROBABLY gonna lose...so"
You forgot Dan Orlovsky, Stephen A.
I feel THEY would come up with a reason to keep FSU out!"
Dan Orlovsky actually said that!
Then, Stephen A. Smith actually mocked and blasted Dan Orlovsky for being over-emotion, over-dramatic, claiming, "If FSU wins out they are in!"
Shannon Sharpe immediately agreed.
THEN, last week, something changed!
They each claimed and asked, "Should FSU be left out due to Jordan Travis' injury?"
Keep in mind for over a month ESPN had Paul Finebaum out there spewing he "Should an undefeated Florida State team be left out? Asking a question, which wasn't a question at all, it was his attempt to forward that failed and flawed narrative!
All i have to say to the alum/fans of other programs is, what are you going to do, when what happened to FSU happens to your program?
So, be careful trolling FSU fans on the chat, because turnabout is fair play!
Step 1….FSU needs to get out of the ACC !!! No ACC team will ever win the NC again !! ESPN take cares of its own… the SEC only !!!!
Nonsense.. ACC > SEC..
expansion next year so that is not true at all. Unfortunately the committee knew that as well. If this was the conversation last year I bet they keep FSU in. But now they can hide behind the expanded playoff.
ESPN loves Clemson
Step 1 Sue the playoff committee and ESPN
Step 2. Win the lawsuit and get in the playoffs
If step 2 is denied,
Step 3. Boycott and get the ACC to boycott their bowl games
I am a Iowa fan & this is BS because i now no they will do this to any team
Clemson alum here. Sorry for FSU players, coaches, fans. This is a travesty. Loathing for the SEC is growing. They better be careful.
I’m boycotting the CFP playoffs, and I’m not a FSU fan. FSU should have been in.
This is one heck of a screw job we got a good bit of players leaving this year. FSU fans gonna be sour for a long time. I know I will be.
I'm a Sooner fan . I am totally disgusted that FSU did not get in ....Guess regular season doesn't matter .. I will not watch it ..Screw them
You Will Indeed Watch. That's like saying an addict will not indulge in x,y,z
*who got beat by Kentucky
who got beat, period. it used to matter
I am pissed off. I AM so angry that I could take a plane from Brazil to protest in Tally. FSU fans should Boicott Orange bowl and CFP .
PIECE OF EVIDENCE 2 HERBSTREIT AND DAVIS CHEERING WHEN ALABAMA BEAT AUBURN
Doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is what happens on the field. 13-0 matters the analytics don’t
@@slibertas1996 Still don't mean they are the BEST.
@slibertas1996 I think it's great Bama beat more ranked opponents than FSU
This requires a simple 8 team playoff:
8 team playoff required
Michigan
Washington
Florida State
Texas
Alabama
Georgia
Liberty
Ohio State
A REAL playoff would include Michigan, Alabama, Florida State, Washington, Texas, Troy, Miami (OH), Liberty, SMU, and Boise State. It should be as simple as that, win your conference and your in. Everyone else just needs to get better.
All FSU fans should just give up on cfb. This sport had been killed by greed. Conference realignment, transfer portal, nil, and now the decision yesterday…
It's FSUs fault for not joining the SEC when they should have...
