    Sadly I don’t think the solution is firing him. I know that’s not what Nole fans wanna hear, but I’m going to give you some hope. Narduzzi at Pitt went 3-9 last season and everyone wanted him on notice. Next year he hired a new OC and the changes were immense as we now have started out 6-0. Hang in there, but with Norvell’s contract firing him isn’t the answer right now. Signed a Pitt fan.

      Firing a coach after he won 19 straight football games before the whole unprecedented snub is absurd. One can't even imagine what this program and coach Mike Norvell have had to endure. I think he is going to get a reprieve for that and as well he should. No one talks about the biggest loss to date anymore, because the biggest loss to date was last December, well before Georgia got a hold to em, Folks. ESPN had the cameras in the faces of student athletes to see instant reactions, capture their emotions , what a class act of an organization that is.

    Third losing season in five years, He is owner of the two worst losses in school history with Jacksonville State and Duke, Has never recruited, signed and developed a QB in five years at FSU, won't fire position coaches that under perform and under recruit, too much dependency on the Transfer Portal, NO TEAM SHOULD LOOK THIS BAD WITH A FIFTH YEAR COACH!!!!!

    I think NORVELL is just going through a tough and rare situation wit players not doing there job in crustal times in games . Our defect has almost same numbers as Clemson but they have no in put from offense . You can’t win if you don’t score over 24 points a game or when your receivers can catch in practice but not in game time it’s a mental thing players got to work through . Fan are too emotional and there behavior don’t help coach or players .

    Plus the fans reactions in the media reactions. It’s bad enough when recruit see what’s going on on the field but whenever they listen to fan, they listen to the shows and everybody is so harsh and critical. It’s like why would any recruit to walk into that I think that hurtsas much because I know some guys didn’t know exactly that that’s the way they feel that’s messed up. We need to get our ducks in a row stop being so harsh in a positive manner.

    There’s a good possibility we lose Surtain who’s the best recruiter on staff. FSU would be prudent to buyout the assistants not producing in any of the required parameters and pay top dollar for a staff that can recruit and develop. This certainly would be cheaper than a Norvell buyout. The key here is bringing in proven names from established power 4 programs.

    Bobby and Mickey continuously rebuilt the program for years. It all worked until his son wasn't quite up to snuff as OC and Bobby didn't move quickly enough to make a change. Maybe all of that was because Mickey stayed long-term. IDK. But the coaching just during the games has been questionable and the reluctance to let another QB play earlier in the year was ridiculous. This coming weekend is going to be 0-50 against Miami unless a lot to guys have had some come to Jesus moments.

    I definitely think we need a proven offensive coordinator, we also need a coach that develops quarterbacks and linebackers. Fire Alex Atkins and Randy Shannon as soon as you can and get some quality replacements for that area. Offensive line is complete garbage and it really shouldn't be because we actually returned a ton of experience and talent this year, so why it has not shown is a clear indication of no true development in that area. I'm going to say the same thing about linebackers, this crew of linebackers has the talent but has shown little to no development since last season. Defensive line and secondary have had their issues but they have shown signs of improvement since the first game so far. We also likely need a new wide receiver coach, Dugans has had more than enough time with the current players to fix these glaring issues and it's simply not working out at all. Those would be my first 3 fires to put some much needed energy in these areas of the team. There are some quality coordinators and coaches out there that would likely love to come to FSU to make a name for themselves. We need to be looking at them now and making arrangements so pluck them before they get deals with other teams.

    @ATLieNOLE 8 часов назад

    It's not Norvell, it's the supporting cast around him. I guarantee he will be making changes after this season cuz the higher ups are pressuring him to I'm almost positive. I think some coaches got a little to complacent especially after an undefeated season so a change is needed. That right there shows the players that Norvell is for real and he wants to keep FSU at the top consistently. Personally I think Atkins, Shannon and Dugans have to go. Not sure Atkins will since he's a CO-OC but he hasn't done a damn thing for our line as far as development goes. Only time will tell but Norvell is a great HC and really wants to be at FSU, not taking that Bama job says a lot. Bottom line, just change the coaches around you where we desperately need it and also Mike needs to give up play calling in my opinion, that could be hard for him but if he does that then that shows me he's for real about keeping this team at the top. This is a very subjective topic but to me it's not Norvell as a HC but more so as an OC. Only time will tell but change is definitely coming, bank on it!

    • @christopherroberts8530

      Norvell is the one calling the offense. We don't have an OC. What do you mean he's not blame?

    • @ATLieNOLE
      @ATLieNOLE 3 часа назад

      @@christopherroberts8530 I know Norvell calls the plays, I never said that he's not to blame, read what I said and don't assume! I said he needs to hire an OC just like Jimbo did at TAMU and also what Florida fans want Napier to do cuz he needs to give up play calling as well but I think his pride won't let him until those big money boosters and alumns tell him he has to. Of course Norvell get's all the blame, he's the HC for God's sake so that goes without saying. He get's more of the blame than anybody but what I was trying to say is he needs to get a good OC to take over play calling and also get rid of some of our other position coaches, at least 3 or 4 of them in my opinion. Again, I never said Norvell doesn't deserve the blame cuz he's the HC and that's why he makes the big bucks period. It falls on him so hopefully in the off season he does make some coaching changes and hires some really good replacements. Me personally, I think Norvell is a great HC and I mean the man won a lot of games at Memphis and won like 2 or 3 conference championships and then up until this year he has turned this FSU football program around so again I think we have the right man at HC, subjectively speaking that is, but definitely need to do an overhaul with our coaching staff and then I think Norvell will be on the right track to get us back to the FSU we all know when we're winning a lot of games. Hopefully that answers your question but if not I don't know what else you need to hear?!?🤷🏽‍♂️ Only time will tell but the bottom line is everyone is going to have their own opinion about this situation period! 💯🤷🏽‍♂️

    • @christopherroberts8530
      @christopherroberts8530 3 часа назад

    • @ATLieNOLE
      @ATLieNOLE 2 часа назад

      @@christopherroberts8530 Correct, but that doesn't mean I'm saying that he's not the blame completely. It should go without saying cuz it should be common sense that he's going to get all the blame since he's the HMIC...Head Man In Charge! 😂 I would just think I wouldn't need to spell it out for people cuz again that goes without saying plain and simple! What I should have said it is all on Norvell since he is the HC but the majority of that is due to the staff he has around him I just didn't think someone like you or anybody for that matter would read that much into that statement. I mean the man goes from being one of the best coaches in all of CFB the last 2 seasons to now being one of the worst even after he won the Bear Bryant COY award last season. I'm sure you know just how much people or fans flip flop on what they think cuz obviously in CFB it's not what have you done for me lately but more so What have you done for me NOW!!! Bottom line for me is I was wanting particularly those 3 coaches gone after the 2022 season cuz to me they were the weakest links to FSU's football team or I should say coaching staff but obviously going undefeated last year and winning your conference bought those coaches more time and even Coach Norvell to which is why he was never going to be on the hot seat even after this abysmal season we're having this year, he bought himself at least 2 more years because of that but obviously there's just people and fans out there that truly don't understand football or X's and O's one bit they just talk out of their asses for the most part. Anyways, hopefully you get my point now cuz I can see why you would've taken my statement that way but believe me when I say this dumpster 🔥 of a season we're having completely falls on him unfortunately so it'll be interesting to see what he does in the off season. One other guy brought up a great point about Coach Narduzzi at Pitt when he went 3-9 last year after winning the ACC championship just a couple years ago and then went out and got a new OC with a couple other coaches and they're 1 of 4 other undefeated teams in the ACC right now so things can change for the better and they can change fast and I don't see any reason why Norvell can't do the same thing. As a matter of fact I really think he will and next season will be different but hopefully we don't lose to many in the portal. I still think we're probably just an 8-4 team next year at best but opening up against Bama sure does suck cuz most likely we'll be starting the season out 0-1 but hey, you never know?!? That O-Line is what worries me the most ONCE AGAIN mmm mm mm! 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ Here's hoping though that we can turn it around somewhat by the time next season starts!!! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
