- SURPRISE! A night game at Doak this Saturday calls for an extra special episode of Tribe Check, featuring #FSUFootball sophomore receiver Hykeem Williams. Hykeem breaks down their practices from this week, discusses the locker room vibe, and explains how he got his start on the football field.
The #Noles welcome California for their first ACC game as a member of the conference on Saturday at 7pm. It's time to PACK Doak and GET LOUD! As always, thanks for listening and GO NOLES!
Also guys, I really enjoyed this conversation. I hope you guys enjoy it too and I hope it provides some reassurance to some of the worries we're having. My purpose of this interview wasn't to necessarily answer every question, but to focus on the positives and really hear what FSU is trying to do in practice to turn this season around. Our job as fans is to support these guys, that's really all that we can control. So let's show them some love this weekend and encourage them to keep fighting! GO! NOLES!

@@TribeCheckwithEmilyPeters You're more than welcome my Sister. Hopefully better times are coming for those of us who love Florida State. 1 NATION UNDER GOD IN THE LAND OF FLORIDA STATE FOOTBALL!!!! GO NOLES!!!!
Hykeem always had that vibe about him even when he was just a recruit. Can’t wait to watch him continue to grow. Met him one time and this dude is the real deal ❤
100% why I wanted to have him come on this week. Gotta find a way to focus on the positives these days and he’s definitely a light for us!
We shall see tomorrow night. Lead by example.

@@billmoonshire67 I have the same feeling!!
Portal time for #8.
It was southern miss Hykeem
Make some plays bro. We need young guys to take the lead.
One month later, we know that Williams is weak. He short-armed a potential catch against Duke. He was afraid to get hit and made a business decision. What pissed me off is he laughed about it. He needs to go.
This team is 🗑 and so is Norvell, but i am team emily and always enjoy your interviews.
@@johnny5735 Appreciate ya!
Fuck personal goals. How we gonna win a game. Cmon woman. Ask real questions.
Did you actually listen 😂 she asks “what’s going to spark the offense”.. that’s probably a question that will help the team win a game coming from an offensive player..
@@greysonporter4258 pretty simple answer what’s gonna spark offense. A new freaking Qb.
It seems as though you have already made up your mind about how we will win a game. And you've already assumed a new QB will spark the offense. Maybe that's the answer you've decided on for both of your questions. But let me ask you this, do you truthfully feel like the QB is the only weak spot offensively? Granted we DO have a win now, so this isn't AS relevant, but if we're being realistic, there are other issues. To be clear, I don't disagree with you that it's worth it to give Brock or even Luke a shot, but I think it's important we get a full perspective from a guy who is actually in the locker room. That'll give us more insight to what they're working on.
Your disregard for personal goals is also confusing when you consider this- do we want guys who care about their future as well as the future of this program on the field? What kind of character is being recruited? Do these guys WANT to get better? I specifically chose Hykeem for this interview during THIS difficult time because I believe (and if you listen to him speak, you will hear it too) he is an outstanding representation of the talented and hardworking young guys on this team. They are the future of the program. If I may, I ask you to look beyond the surface of the interview.
Not that I feel as though I have to defend myself to you, but I did ask him a variety of questions. The purpose of my pod is also to give you guys a little personal look at the guys who are on the field. None of my interviews focus primarily on the athlete's sport, position, or ability. They're so much more than their athletic abilities! Hopefully you can appreciate this different style of content. Until then, thank you for the view!
