You weren't harsh enough, man. Your video needed to end on a close-up of the Alundra 2 CD laying peacefully in its jewel case on the grass of a freshly mowed stadium lawn. Only for the camera to slowly zoom-out, then quickly transition to an aerial view of a gathering dark mass in the sky. Then, a close-up of the mass: Thousands of flying elephants, angry and determined. And constipated. They see the Alundra 2 case. The lead elephant trumpets, and the thousands of following elephants trumpet in reply. Then, with all the natural grace that only constipated angry flying elephants can perform, they dive out of the sky and let their displeasure against Alundra 2 be known in the most age-old fashioned possible: by dropping their dung atop it from 500' up. With periodic cuts of wild animals howling/roaring/neighing/etc. their excited approval. Ending with the entire dung heap lighting-up in flames from the _real_ Alundra tossing a bomb onto it. All to, of course (because it's not overused until I say it's overused), Ludwig van Beethoven's _Ode an die Freude._
I discovered Alundra 2 before the 1, and I loved it. The story is rich and the action/RPG style was good. When I played the Alundra 1 after finishing the 2nd, it was a very different game. I love both but for the adventure I preferend the 2nd one
Alundra 2 is my favourite game of all time. But I can say that that is because I was introduced to this game when I was a child and played the first game in my late teens. Alundra 1 is a masterpiece. But Alundra 2 still has so much to offer and will always be my no.1 game. Plus all the bosses end up dying with a masive explosion. How can you not love that as a kid?
mine too! it's sad to see all that reception simply because someone had the decision to name it Alundra 2 and not something else... if you're interested, I created a discord server to gather fans and discuss speedrunning strategies, fun bugs and glitches, modding, post fanarts, share game contents etc

I agree that the game's name was a mistake. It has nothing to do with Alundra 1's narrative. It has nothing to do with any Alundra guy (which is the name of the first protagonist). And Alundra is a better game in every aspect. As a self contained game is Alundra 2 a bad game? Imo yes 😂, I don't think it's a good game anyway.
Never realized that there was a change in developers, so thank you for clarifying! Went into my local vintage game store yesterday (hence what led me to look up this video), and Alundra 1 was behind the glass display case listed for $179.99, Mint with Manual, while the sequel was on clearance for 7 bucks 😂
Oh wow 😳, incredible you buy Chinese devices now that have the first and second Alundra games already installed along with thousands of other retro games for under $100!
I trully loved this game; guess not playing the Alunda 1 until much later spared me the comparisons, which seems to have a lot to do with the hate it gets. The puzzles were tough and fun, got mini games, interactions (I remember the gipsy that would tell your loving future in the Pirates Town) and secret rooms. The stages were very different and charming. I also think the story, even if not one of the bests, had great twitst. You would end up inside a mechanical whale, and when you thought it was about to end, then got thrown into retrieven those relics from the ancient idols. Great game.
I loved alundra 2. never played the first one, hence i dont get the complaints. Stop comparing it to part 1. The music and sound effects were iconic. The mind control using a key to the back of the victim is also unique.
Look how they massacred my boy, Alundra. Yeah, I really was always thinking we’d get to see another game for Alundra going back to its roots after Alundra 2 came out. I wanted so dearly to have the same character be used in a new setting. The first game only took place in such a small part of the world, Inoa village. The first game left so many plots and subplots opened for some other writer to expand the lore into so many avenues.
i beat this game multiple times, i know many don't like this game and I understand why. it's one of the first game I've finished as a kid, so to me i really like this game. and still boot it up from time to time
I was 14 when I played this game when it came out. I loved it. Still do. It gets unfairly dismissed because it's called Alundra. It's not great but it's not bad. It's above average. A solid 7 out of 10.

Loved this game as a kid, never played the original and I probably never will purely out of spite for everyone who told me this game is trash because it didn't have their monkey man in it. I don't know what to say to defend it, though. Sure, it has it's flaws, but a corny story and slightly unpolished gameplay are the sorts of things a kid could overlook. What I remember about the game were the sheer amount of fun and unique set pieces or subplots that I still clearly remember decades later. The pirates fighting on the airship, the whale getting hit by the key, exploring the fallen airship, the entire thing with the bulls that spans several cities, the facility with the spider boss and the banger music, the mine cart ride into the pirate disguise segment, the whole Belgar subplot where he's hinted to be Flint's father but it never goes anywhere , the diving segment with the sunken ship and the shark, the WHALE LEVEL, washing up in that run-ending puzzle cave, the deserted islands and their interconnected teleporters, etc, etc. It was just a fun time. The voice acting was also shockingly good for a game of that era. That first scene with the pirates on the airship still plays out in my head sometimes, something about Scott Menville's voice just tales me back.
Honestly this game is pretty decent. Has a lot of that PS1 charm with the voice acting and scenarios. Reminds me of a low budget Brave Fencer Musashi (with some Megaman Legends charm from the pirates) a lot more than Alundra. If it was it’s own game it would be more fondly remembered. I hated it when it came out being a huge Alundra fan but I revisited it and had a few laughs.
I like the atmosphere, villages feel villagy, dungeons feel dubgeony and ships feel shippy. The soundtrack is amazing and some of the cutscenes are funny as hell. Awesome game, they should do a remake.
I do have a Special nostalgic moment with this Game: One of my friends got stuck on the sequence where the boulder chases you. He could never reach the end to get to the Bull boss. I tried it and did it on my first try! After that, my friend Took over and battled the Boss. Somehow that stuck to me, so much so, I searched for this game, cause I had forgotten it's Name. Now I have it in my collection, Just because of that Moment.
Omg! For the longest time I couldn't remember the name of the game but one day it rrlandomly came to me! I was so happy when I found it again and bought it as soon as I could. I was so surprised I remember because I played thus when I was 7.
Honestly this game should be called Landstalker 2 instead of Alundra 2; as the game would be a much improved simply if it didn't have to carry the weighty expectations of the expertly crafted previous entry. I owned physical copies of Alundra 1 and 2 back in the day. And IMHO, when considered as it's own game and own IP (because it has nothing to do with the previous game's story), I thought it was a charming and above average adventure game.
With this saga I'm a little hypster. I don't think the first Alundra is nowhere near as good as everyone says, and I don't think Alundra 2 is as bad as everyone says. That's just me tough.
This game would be a certified hidden (even if janky) gem that nobody played because it was at the tail end of the PSX if it wasn't because it is associated with the first Alundra. While the game is not perfect and has nothing to do with first one: it is still done with a lot of heart, tasteful character design, charming plot and characters. It deserves its own place, rather than being second fiddle.
I thought it was a decent enough game and fun enough I remembered it and went out of my way to pick up a disk, but it suffered from the Star Fox Adventures issue. Likely would have been fine as a game on it's own. But they had no confidence in it so tacked on the first games name to it. But it was not as bad as you make it out to be.
I have always preferred fully 3d games where you can explore the world instead of 2d sprite games that all look the same so will definitely give the second game game a try never heard of it before
Back in the day, I loved the 1st Alundra but it was too sad and depressing for my taste. When I got my hands on Alundra 2, it was funny and a pleasant surprise. That's the only good thing I'm gonna say about that game.
This is yet another of those great hidden gem franchises that existed on the PS1 and PS2 era that ended up being forgotten which is a shame. Lots of those types of franchises in many genres back then unfortunately that just will haver have a second chance. But Alundra itself I have played some of those two games but I have never completed them. I did enjoy Alundra 1 the most from what I have played and I really liked the idea of the main character entering into others dreams I thought that was kinda cool. Alundra 2 doesn't look bad to me from what I remember from it and also it seems to have that same gameplay just a worse type of camera angle that is top down perspective bit I guess its not difficult to adjust to. At least it does look a whole lot better than for example T'ai Fu which had a horrible camera system in it but overall is a pretty good hidden gem PS1 era game as well.
I loved the idea of cog powered enemies, played the heck out of this game and I don’t remember much about it lol. A few weird mini games, a long run from a mechanical bull, good times.
Before this video even launches, consider me in the mental state of someone having listened to FFX's Tidus laugh for 10hrs straight, after seeing what the video title suggests #Alundra1Forever #AlundraForRemaster #AlundraForCarefulRemake #AlundraIsBestZeldaGameThatIsntZelda Love your content, as listening to your videos make my night work a much better experience!
this was actually my very first game of the series back when I was like 5 years old playing one of my family ps1 collections lul. Its really not bad game at all to me. Don't get me wrong, the story and the dialogue/cutscenes may not hold up well bt today standards. But Its still had some decent gameplay and puzzles and some great boss fights for as 3d action ps1 title, never forgotten from fighting that Bull head chaser,The Egyptian statue's and the wrecking ball cheeta~ It probably may not the best game to recommend anyone to play, but its definitely like not the worst game out there.
The only things that Alundra 2 had going for it in terms of similarities to the original were the challenges and the music (especially compare the "On the Ship" theme from the first game with the "Island of Paradise" of the second game). Outside of that, it's just "Alundra" in name only. Sony needs to revive this action RPG series that sees the return of the real Alundra, and maybe Flint too. Co-op should definitely be more explored in a 3rd game if anything. I do agree that the visuals and voice acting aren't all that polished, but it was bearable for the course.
I actually prefer part 2 over part 1. I was in middle school when this came out. When I bought the game I thought the graphics looked great ( still kinda do for ps1 game ) the worker actually told me to buy part 1 first because it was a better game however I wanted something 3d/next gen and not something I played on the snes/Sega with 2d graphics. Great video
Never played the Alundra games myself but the second game looks more appealing to me as I love fully 3d games like crash bandicoot that one stage where the character was running towards the screen reminded me of the chase levels in crash bandicoot, never been a fan of 2d sprite games like in the first Alundra to me it feels more like you are exploring a 3d world when it is fully 3d
I remember thissssss 🥰... I remember this stage 1:53 when you fail a monkey appears and mocks you... 😅 I tried to finish it but alas my young gamer brain could not handle it.
I can only imagine what a new Alundra game would be like if they still followed Zelda, and we had an Alundra 3 that played similar to Tears Of The Kingdom.... I had a friend that never played the original game, but he had Alundra 2 and he loved it. I hated it, and probably because I loved the original so much. I'm always hoping for a remake, or direct sequel.
well i played this game as a kid,no internet, but had ps1 and the disc so i just played it,also at the time no memory card,so if my parents would tell me its time to stop,i knew i had to start over again, and yes i finished the game back then,2006 -7 ish?but i feel nostalgic about this one nonetheles, would absolutely watch an anime after this or a remake
I agree that it wasn't as good as the first but damn i played this when i was like 15 and it blew my mind at the time, these days it doesn't look so great but it's still a good game. I really do hope they remake or release these 2 Alundra games with just polished graohics or something that would be cool ild totally be in for that.
The second Alundra was such trash in my eyes. After playing the first game, which I thought was pretty polished for the time, Alundra 2 just threw everything away.
i prefer the art style of the first game tho im not a big fan of having lots of puzzles in my rpgs , i want to explore and battle while having a decent story
I really like your intro and I never like intros, the song is nostalgic/exciting and the portal effect also harkens to chrono trigger but generally that 'moving through a portal' effect makes the viewer expect something if that makes sense
I liked this game. It has some nice puzzles and boss fights. I liked combat in Alundra 2 (more attacks/combos). As for camera clunkiness I just got used to it. Also I think best portion of game starts at ~30% where it got some better puzzles and more interesting locations (semi-mechanical whale level is awesome)!. Story is bad- I can't argue with that. Also graphics look really bad for today's standards- Alundra 1 aged well compared to Alundra 2.
So inpresive that they have a hack called unworking that fixes everything and removes the changes from the Japanese version the same way they did with the Lunar games on both Sega CD and PlayStation. So working designs did some bad choices for the U.S releases. Making the game more difficult unlike squaresoft games that are more difficult oversees. Also censored graphics not in the U.S version for the Lunar games.
To the title? Of course not, the original is definitely one of the better ones in its genre, and this largely just seems to be the case of simply putting the name onto something vaguely related in order to market it as a sequel, but it was pretty fun- hey, I liked fighting my way through a biomechanical whale or running from a rolling cow.
I never played it because I had heard that it wasn't well liked, which was disappointing to hear as I love the original. That being said, I do want to buy it someday and try it anyway.
Honestly, it always felt like they just slapped the Alundra title on a completely unrelated game as that's literally the only connection it has with the first one.
I had a the PS1 version of this game and sad to say I didn't enjoy this game at all. The controls were buggy, the graphics were a 2 out of 10. The music was ok. I barely made it out of the first level compared to the adventures of Alundra where I replayed the game continuosly.
I .. i stopped at 2:46 (and continued) you just compare mechanics.. ok i will suck this up 3:31 the story is fking amazing ! wtf (for a kid like i was) 4:22 definitly woth your time playing :3 Yes there is funny and awesome story, and magic in this game ! (unlocking late *looks aside xD) Im kind of mad at you looking down on it ..
Thanks for defending it! It's a really underrated game just because of its name. Recently, speedruns of this game became more and more impressive thanks to the community loving it! But for casual, even if it's different, it has its own charm
I tried it for the first time and... I died 3 times at the start The game is playing in slow motion, I waited for other negative things but not this... I can have my dinner between 2 sleeps when it loads again...
😂😂😂 Nah. But it wasn't a bad game. I did enjoy playing it, I can't remember where I had stopped at, but I know that I never bothered to beat it. It's better than Final Fantasy XIII.
Wish you would've provided an example of the "corny voice acting" ...the campiness of 90s video game voice acting is always good for a chuckle or 2!🤦🏼♀️😅
PS1 was like the early teen years of gaming. So many companies had to jump on the 3D graphics bandwagon even if it looked like crap. Such a shame, because pixel art was getting really damn good. Alundra 2 sucked. I played it on release as an Alundra fan. Think I went through the 7 stages of grief or whatever that it wasn't actually related to Alundra 1.
Utterly sucked, the darkness and the amazing mood of the original is just utterly destroyed. And blasphemy on your besmirching of Alundra 1, that game is fucking amazeballs.
This game makes no sense, how could they call it Alundra 2 without Alundra, or any ties to him. "Does it deserve the hate?" Would've been a better question.
I gave it a hard pass back in the day. It looked way to different and how do you have an Alundra 2 without Alundra in it? It may well be a decent game, but I can't help but feel like they just slapped the Alundra name on it just because they could.
there is literally nothing about this game that is better than the original. Nothing. They utterly ruined everything. Literally has nothing to do with the original game
Alundra 1 looks boring. Alundra 2 is way better. Love the storyline also, works for a kid around that time. Maybe you are older by that time so you didn't appreciate Alundra 2
Bro, I freaking despise this game. I remember buying it when I was real young and I just couldn't stand it. Not then and not now. Your instincts are right, this game is unpolished and unfinished. It's the let down of the game being below average that really hits the hardest. Since I worked hard to purchase it from mowing lawns, hay-bailing, hanging tobacco in barns. I have the first game and it was amazing so I was super excited for the sequel. Oh man, it still stings. So it just sits on my shelf forever collecting dust. Too painful to play and too sad to throw away into the trash where it truly belongs. Alundra 2 is a monolith of disgrace and of my everlasting shame. 😭
I concur. But honestly the design of the character was interesting. Glad I steered clear of this game when it first came out and only played via emulation.
3:59- How dare you sir. This game was formative to my childhood. The super cartoony feel to it plus the pirate theme gives almost a monkey island vibe to it. And while the controls and camera were unpolished, they were CLEARLY drawing from the camera style of Ocarina, and imho did 3D better than Ocarina. The puzzles are simple, yes, but they require significantly more lateral thinking than many rpgs of the time did. Especially later in the game, where you had to combine multiple elements together in unique ways to solve many of the puzzle chests in particular. The trade quest, and open world nature of the game is still some of the most fun ive had, second maybe to the trade quest of the Wind Waker series, but even then- you get a chance to have some cool moments with your father by completing it. Characters- of course they're one dimensional, this is a goofy world! Everythings goofy! Even the 'sinister' elements are goofy! This game doesnt want depth, because that shrinks the goofball feel of the game... you wouldnt say the mario characters suck for being one dimensional, would you? I feel the same about Alundra 2 here. You do get elements of environmental storytelling where it counts, to provide better context. Flint hated by the pirates in part for the association he has with his father. His hatred of pirates for what they did to him. The whole Whale/giant key/dragon- that flint messes up the creation of a super dragon, creating a giant feral clockwork whale terrorizing the seas. The feel of the ruins. The music, the feeling of getting newer weapons, shields, and sword techniques was very satisfying. The feeling of hit and run combat. People can shit on this game all they like, but honestly- if it had come out a year or two earlier and wasnt attached to the Alundra IP, people would have loved this game. But alas, now it will never get a chance to shine. It's sad, too. With a more modern polish and lack of competition with other 'goofy' games, a remaster of A2 would be amazing.
It was awful. I tried to play and like it, but I kept looking at the original in magazines and felt cheated lol! The humor was fine to me at the time, but there was something about the controls or camera that made it frustrating to play. A combination of that and the puzzles, I think.

I agree...I mean with the "That's just me though" part.
I guess I'm one of those rare player who genuinely enjoy the 2nd one than the first. While the first one is good it's just too gloomy for me.
I have always preferred fully 3d games where you can explore the world instead of 2d sprite games that all look the same so will definitely give the second game game a try never heard of it before
The Quest 64 of the PS1.
Pretty much!
Having not played the first Alundra seems to be what makes or breaks a positive review for the second one.
Back in the day, I loved the 1st Alundra but it was too sad and depressing for my taste. When I got my hands on Alundra 2, it was funny and a pleasant surprise. That's the only good thing I'm gonna say about that game.
Interesting
YOU LEAVE MY GRANSTREAM SAGA ALONE
I know it's bad but I still love it
Haha, apologies!
Absolutely hated this one, especially since the first game is one of my favorites for the PS1.
I loved the idea of cog powered enemies, played the heck out of this game and I don’t remember much about it lol. A few weird mini games, a long run from a mechanical bull, good times.
i remember the title but not the game
how did you get the amazing footage for the video?
Before this video even launches, consider me in the mental state of someone having listened to FFX's Tidus laugh for 10hrs straight, after seeing what the video title suggests
#Alundra1Forever #AlundraForRemaster #AlundraForCarefulRemake #AlundraIsBestZeldaGameThatIsntZelda
Love your content, as listening to your videos make my night work a much better experience!
the background song of alundra 2 from the village is still stock on my head even after 2 decades
Paco village or something? Because new too lol me and by brother humm it all the time like wtf
Played it when I was 8 or 9 and I loved it. Childhood memories before jumping into legend of zelda and final fantasy
this was actually my very first game of the series back when I was like 5 years old playing one of my family ps1 collections lul.
I appreciate your memories of the game!
Great video
Thanks for leaving your memories of it here!
I tried to finish it but alas my young gamer brain could not handle it.
this was the only Alundra i played as a kid, and i liked it a lot as a kid, maybe this was my first rpg if you can call it that
I can only imagine what a new Alundra game would be like if they still followed Zelda, and we had an Alundra 3 that played similar to Tears Of The Kingdom.... I had a friend that never played the original game, but he had Alundra 2 and he loved it. I hated it, and probably because I loved the original so much. I'm always hoping for a remake, or direct sequel.
I loved this game as a kid, but then I loved every game as a kid :(
Glad you liked it more than me!
Brave Fencer Musashi and Threads of Fate are my go to PS arpg. Alundra 2 not so much played it once and forgot about it.
well i played this game as a kid,no internet, but had ps1 and the disc so i just played it,also at the time no memory card,so if my parents would tell me its time to stop,i knew i had to start over again, and yes i finished the game back then,2006 -7 ish?but i feel nostalgic about this one nonetheles, would absolutely watch an anime after this or a remake
Thanks for sharing your memories of it!
I agree that it wasn't as good as the first but damn i played this when i was like 15 and it blew my mind at the time, these days it doesn't look so great but it's still a good game. I really do hope they remake or release these 2 Alundra games with just polished graohics or something that would be cool ild totally be in for that.
I had it and enjoyed it a lot. It is janky, that's for sure, but all in all, I liked it.
It is a decent game that really needed to be called something else.
Can I play alundra 2 on Playstation 2?
Yes, if it's a backwards compatible one.
Yeah should work on any of the ps2s
The second Alundra was such trash in my eyes. After playing the first game, which I thought was pretty polished for the time, Alundra 2 just threw everything away.
So unfortunate!
Daaaaaaamn Granstream Saga is my favorite game on the console
i prefer the art style of the first game tho im not a big fan of having lots of puzzles in my rpgs , i want to explore and battle while having a decent story
if i recalled correctly, the game was supposed to be a new game unrelated to Alundra, but the dev / publisher decided to slap the name to it.
Glad someone liked it more than me!
I'll take "Games i didn't know got a sequel for 500,"
Thought Alundra was a supposed sequel to Landstalker? Did I just imagine that?
I had fun with this one. It was cheesy, but i don’t remember it being that aweful.
Glad you liked it!
My favorite game as a kid
Glad you liked it way more than me!
Still got both sitting, will admit after the first game i had high hopes for the second, never finished it.
Nuff said.
Well, just take in mind that it's not truly Alundra 2, but it's own thing and probably you will do fine.
Honestly, it always felt like they just slapped the Alundra title on a completely unrelated game as that's literally the only connection it has with the first one.
Got this after playing alundra 1 which was and still is one of my fave games ever. Was so disappointed when I turned alundra 2 on 🤣
oh gosh THIS WAS SUCH A STRESSFUL BUT FUN GAME
Alundra 2 is a phenomenal game, should have been named something else to stand on its own. It has nothing to do with Alundra
I had a the PS1 version of this game and sad to say I didn't enjoy this game at all.
The controls were buggy, the graphics were a 2 out of 10.
The music was ok. I barely made it out of the first level compared to the adventures of Alundra where I replayed the game continuosly.
it really seems like a random game they had and just slapped the alundra name on it for a brand recognition from fans of the original
I .. i stopped at 2:46 (and continued)
you just compare mechanics.. ok i will suck this up
3:31 the story is fking amazing ! wtf (for a kid like i was)
4:22 definitly woth your time playing :3
Yes there is funny and awesome story, and magic in this game ! (unlocking late *looks aside xD)
Im kind of mad at you looking down on it ..
Thanks for defending it! It's a really underrated game just because of its name.
Recently, speedruns of this game became more and more impressive thanks to the community loving it!
But for casual, even if it's different, it has its own charm
Could be another game not named Alundra. Felt like it was and Activision slapped on the name so that it can sell.
I tried it for the first time and... I died 3 times at the start
The game is playing in slow motion, I waited for other negative things but not this... I can have my dinner between 2 sleeps when it loads again...
Love this game ❤️
Glad to hear someone did more than me!
I feel it’s a decent game, but shouldn’t carry the Alundra title. Should have been it’s own thing.
😂😂😂 Nah. But it wasn't a bad game. I did enjoy playing it, I can't remember where I had stopped at, but I know that I never bothered to beat it. It's better than Final Fantasy XIII.
Is it really better than FFXIII ? How about FFVII ?
that's true. God how anyone likes 13 is beyond me
Is that a serious question?
That title... them's fighting words!
Decentish game on its own, but as a successor to the first game... ouch.
If anyone disliked alundra 2, they might as well hate brave fencer mushashi. 😂😂😂
Alundra 2 ❤
Alundra needs a remake. Alundra 2 should have been a separate franchise. It's a decent game. But it's clearly not Alundra.
Wish you would've provided an example of the "corny voice acting" ...the campiness of 90s video game voice acting is always good for a chuckle or 2!🤦🏼♀️😅
alundra 2 has the better op.
The first game was perfection in graphics, difficulty, story, gameplay, and soundtrack. Alundra 2 was hot garbage in all those same categories.
3D ruined it
Utterly sucked, the darkness and the amazing mood of the original is just utterly destroyed. And blasphemy on your besmirching of Alundra 1, that game is fucking amazeballs.
@@StewNWT What do you mean? I love Alundra 1. What blasphemy? I didn't say anything negative about it.
@@MinecraftMartin sorry my computer was glitching out and it put my reply to someone else on your comment. Hope it;'s fixed now
Alundra 2 and Tomba 2 not the same as the original.
Loved both the game and especially the music ❤
Glad to hear it!
Yeah, it really was so different from the first in so many ways.
I own Alundra and Alundra 2.
I hate Alundra 2; I want it to die.
Alundra 2 is such a troll title. Has absolutely nothing to do with Alundra. I'll grab a shovel lets kill it.
No
yeah sure but only if it is similar to Brave Fencer Musashi but nope.. its ugly
reminds me of threads of fate, i enjoyed it
Great to hear that!
Oi! You forgot to mention something important: The game is f-ing slow. Otherwise, good review of a terrible game.
Yeah Alundra 2 was garbage. The moved away from the formula that made the 1st one so great.
Hard to disagree with that!
there is literally nothing about this game that is better than the original. Nothing. They utterly ruined everything. Literally has nothing to do with the original game
Alundra 1 looks boring. Alundra 2 is way better. Love the storyline also, works for a kid around that time. Maybe you are older by that time so you didn't appreciate Alundra 2
the story, the plot, the puzzes in this game are amzing
Glad you liked it!
Another disappointing sequel. Top sad this was the end of Alundra, it had a lot of potential but Activision ruined it miserably.
Horrible game...... honestly.... an insult in comparison to the original.
The stupid "now make it 3D because it's the trend" philosophy
I concur. But honestly the design of the character was interesting. Glad I steered clear of this game when it first came out and only played via emulation.
@@PsychomachineryEBM that's exactly how I felt about the Mario games going 3D
@@PsychomachineryEBM sometimes I wonder how Final Fantasy 7 would have turned out if they didn't go 3D
3:59-
How dare you sir.
Thanks for all your thoughts on it, and glad you liked it more than me!
It was awful. I tried to play and like it, but I kept looking at the original in magazines and felt cheated lol! The humor was fine to me at the time, but there was something about the controls or camera that made it frustrating to play. A combination of that and the puzzles, I think.
