One UI 7 has many new great features that stock Android will get after years or never and cool animations, so i don't mind waiting for a couple of months. Stock Android looks like Android 12.6.
One UI is the issue! When you have all those customization settings and then they try to update the phone they run into way more bugs than Google does! Samsung has gotten better with updates but all the people that used to say Samsung updates their phones faster than Google does that has never been true! You don't buy Samsung to get timely updates you by Samsung for the features! If you want timely updates get an iPhone or a pixel!
Great video as usual. Just a little feedback about the wallpaper app, 1. wallpapers are not aligned in the center after being applied. This is predominantly visible with the new sun/mountain based wallpapers. 2. Applying the blur option to the wallpapers introduces visible dots like patterns in the wallpaper. Especially if you maximise the blur option. It would be great if the above mentioned are fixed. Thanks.
Your phone probably needs a factory reset because on my pixel 8 pro, the beta is totally stable. I updated from QPR beta to Android 16 and I almost forget at times that I am on A16 beta, due to the stability and buglessness. Good review anyhow.
Do you want to make a video about your Pixels (what models do you have) and how do you work with the systems? When I'm watching your videos about changes in Android I think that you have to reinstall the system at least once a week on all your Pixels to show us changes in Android 15, Android 16, then again Android 15 because of for example feature drop for Pixels, then once again Android 16 because of new beta/more discovered features/anything else. HOW?! How can you manage this and meanwhile you still can tell us how's the battery after a week or two of using the specific version of the system? (Of course aforementioned Android versions are just an example)
I honestly hope Android AOSP eventually removes this tired 3 button layout & brings back the old swipe up for home/(hold)recent with back-button layout from Android 10 as the 2nd option to pure gestures. The 2-button layout was more aesthetically pleasing than the 3 button layout & intuitive.
In which android version Google include double tap to screen off, one slide for brightness, smooth animation between different camera lens in video etc.
@Galaxykid. Well for me I am not much of a heavy gamer but it sure goes well .. but I'll advise that you don't try it out now maybe later due to some bugs ... I am not a very heavy user that's why I can tolerate some bugs around the update .. still stick to the android 15 still until beta 2 or 3 of the android 16
Stock android has gotten so much optimization and I love it but its just too stale right now Following in the footsteps of iOS is welcome, if they at least get it up to par with iOS in efficiency
Please give an option to change the wallpaper through other apps in your app. I applied the same wallpaper as you have in this video but it's not aligned in the center as you have it.
Dude the release has been out merely a few hours and you're saying battery drain is an issue 😂 it takes time to adjust. Another thing the bugs you have on yours are not on mine. I'm running A16 Beta 1 on my pixel 9 pro which I clean installed.
You did get the Live Notifications feature in this beta lol.... just no app has implemented it yet since it literally just released which is why you aren't seeing anything...
Minor update for users, major pain for developers. Android continues to remove developer freedom so that every app looks the same. They just would like everyone to make apps that look identical. They never consider minority use cases when they make decisions. Ex. Remove the ability to lock screen rotation seems like a good idea for large screens but any app that uses a compass has to deal with a degraded user experience. Annoyed with another release that will add more unnecessary work.

We don't even have android 15 and ui 7 fully rolled out yet I have s24 ultra and I live in Canada we aren't under the beta country thing so I'm still waiting on the update but yet ur trying to run Android 16 of course it's gonna run like crap it's still to early to try and run it but what do i know
Google:" Back gestures and boot up animation... Welcome to Android 16" ... It seems to me they are running out of ideas. They could have at least the bare MINIMUM allow me to remove the google search bar and at a glance. Maybe some customization like icon packs, fingerprint animations etc. Google wake up
You make me notice that not having haptics for this one helps my brain differentiate the gesture from the currently open apps gesture. How do you know that the gesture is the one you wanted to do, if your brain has no feedback to differentiate? It helps a lot in learning gestures. Ergonomically I think it's a bad idea to remove that difference between gestures.
@@klevkaisetsu4883 Samsung has haptics for all control gestures. And it works well. If all gestures have haptics except only one, i can only guess that they forgot about it or just ignore it because they're busy making ai features.
Hello Mr. Emad Hussein, I have Google Pixels, especially the Pixel 9 Pro. I am in Ivory Coast. Can you help me how to buy Pixel 9 Pro from Ivory Coast? Thank you very much.
They removed vibration intensity slider in gboard and still no ability to hide useless navigation pill. 50mp only for latest pro models. And much more👎👎👎
my question is why google phone anymore.samsung has best impressive ai features like in google and more than that.if both are at same price even gemini looks good in new samsung with bixbi integration.so why google.google must give google only features.other wise i dont need it anymore
"Finally here"? Are you serious? It's way ahead of its actual release date. Don't make it sound like we were waiting for it. Appreciate that they released a little earlier than usual.
Send Google this feedback: YT Music on Lock screen (double tap on the right side of it to move forward on the song and left side of it to back on the song) it's already like this in RUclips and Yotube music. But it would be nice to be able to use it on the lock screen itself.
thanks for keeping these short and to the point. you're goated
These kind of updates used to be 9.0.1. now it's a whole new android version from 15 to 16!
really
They're doing a dick measuring contest with apple
There were times when new android release version meant new redesign, now new button is added and they are releasing it as new version
And Samsung is yet to release Android 15...this is just criminal by samsung
Samsung just released S25 lineups with A15. Also A16 for Pixel looks like A14.2
Facts
I prefer a stable system I don’t mind to have the very last version of Android

Sound and volume sounds louder and clearer on my pixel 9 fold with this new beta

Noted
Theres also a slight change in the appearing and disappearing animation of the sound bar
exciting!
@@TheJunky228 🤣
Status bar icons still the same as in 2012...
Please Google ringtone sync vibration bring back this feature..why remove in android 15?
It would be nice to have a complete overview of all new features. So including those from the DPs. Maybe when Beta 2 or 3 comes out.
U can get linux from developer options in android 16, thats what i love about it :)
Gracias Crack por casi llego actualizar a Androi 16.
Puse pausa en la actualización , espero dure esa pausa hasta que salga una mejor actualización
Works fine on my pixel 8a. The first bug you mentioned didn't appear on my side plus battery is also okay.
Same Design just the number change 💀😂
Was waiting on your review❤❤❤
All I need to know, delivered quickly. I won't be going from QPR2 to this. Thanks.
This is literally Android 12.4 😭😭😭😭👎🏽👎🏽
I can't believe iPhone lock screen basically shit all over the pixel lock screen. They didn't care to improve it
Android already has everything that it needs, is not like Apple that needs to catch up with a lot of shit that's why they release more things
no wonder they're promising 7 years of updates if the updates look like this 😂😂
It has new animations and more features than before
They are the same on material u but they aren't the same
They just playing the catch up game 😂
Thanks to Adding performance and smoothness part,
I hope they'll give us the option to have a regular brightness lock screen and home screen even on power saving mode.
Thanks for the overview!

themed icons are now back in beta
U forgot to talk about Linux in Android 16, u can enable it from developer options.
"And so without further ado, let's jump in"; proceeds to talk about further ado.
I'm still saying that Google could bring us more lock screen clocks or at least let us install new ones from the Play Store. This is so sad...

android update has been lackluster every year now, nothing new and always google cramming AI crap wherever unnecessary
In which android version Google include double tap to screen off, one slide for brightness, smooth animation between different camera lens in video etc.
Interesting, I do not have one of the bugs you showed
But my device language is german, so maybe that changes the issue of the Date/time issue
There's a new option to unlock using fingerprint with the screen turned off. But only on Pixel 9 series.
Not new to this build, I mentioned this before
what is your phone case type, where do you get?
It took me about 1 minute to install moving from 15 QPR2 latest Beta from 2 days ago.
I am currently installing the android 16
What are the new features in terms of gaming?

3:30 I can see the battery cycle on my pixel 9 pro XL running android 15.
Google's should Make the fingerprint icon and lockscreen icon transparent because it ruins the lock screen wallpaper and doesn't look good at all .
Another Android 12 minor update.
What's wrong with it? I don't need every time UI change just for the sake of change.

there no battery information section on my pixel 7 so i guess thats an pixel 9 exclusive
great video as always! Btw can you share source of your wallpaper?
It's his own wallpaper app. There's a link in the videos description
Are banking apps working with this beta 1?
I had no issues when I updated my pixel 8 with Android 16 beta one and no battery drain
Looks exactly the same as previously versions of android , after android nougat every android update as been minor.
That because Android already is mature and has everything unlike IOS still playing catch up

You can do all that by installing another launcher.
Did they add haptic for swipe up to go to homescreen gesture? All gestures have haptics except this one.
No they didn't
Also Gboard for some reason doesn't have haptics when you press the backspace key. It's pretty odd.

@Galaxykid. I don't know. I don't do games. 😁 Sorry.

@SaadTuber You should wait until the stable version is released. My 6a is a secondary phone. That's why I've got 16 beta on it.
It's out already? I just got Android 15 stable like 10 days ago on my Nothing Phone 1 💀
