- After long time I finally managed to put out a video again. In April I went again to Svalbard to join the MS Origo with 11 other photographers to search the coastline of Svalbard for all kind of wildlife. In this video I took some images of a reindeer and some ptarmigans before in Longyearbyen before I joined the MS Origo.

WOW!!! I’m from London. Svalbard is always in my bucket list. Great content. Keep going.
Thank you very much. I hope you one day be able to travel to Svalbard. It's an amazing place. 😊
@@alfredlucas3291 Thanks for the response
Nice Alfred!
I found it fascinating to see in your first clip of the reindeer just how poor the grazing is. There can be hardly any nutritional value in those grass stalks and it is a wonder that they can sustain themselves on it. As usual your images are excellent. Although the human habitation in the background of the ptarmigan video was quite distracting the still image you showed with the red building was actually very nice and certainly showed that the bird is not just found in the remotest locations.
Best wishes Albert.
Thank you very much gor your comment Albert. 🙏🙏🙏 The biggest problem for the reindeer is the climate change. Whrn warmer temperatures hit Svalbard and the a new frost periode starts the snow is to hard and icy and thecrrindeer is not able to digg in the snow to get to its food. With the best wishes from Northern Norway 😊🇧🇻
I haven’t seen any video from you for two months, I hope everything is going well for you. Gary
