We show you how to perform the diff oil change on this vehicle as well as give helpful tips along the way. This truck is a repeat customer. Awesome video ANTHONY. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible day. Much love and RESPECT brother
Thanks dude, when you gettin a Ram 2500?!?!
Great video, huge help thank you!!!
You're welcome!
Nice easy job! You have to Love the squeeze bottles. 👍👍😎🐍🦖
I do think you have slightly more waste than a regular bottle, hard to get it all out
The cover should be completely removed, gears inspected, magnetic cleaned, gasket cleaned and inspected. The bolts should be torqued in a crisscross manner. Once fluid starts running out, stop, do not finish off the quart.
Yeah, why don’t you just go start your own channel then if you’re so smart😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
While you’re at it, tell me the torque spec
“Just 1/2 to a 1/4 turn” 😂. Not a good amsoil commercial
Thanks for the tips. Now I just need to get a 2500 lol
You're right!!!
They are trash.
Biggest regret of my life.
Can't even drive in light snow.
Air box clogged every 30 minutes.
Pure junk
@freeaudiobooks7469 I snow plow in colorado with ram 2500 trucks. Theyre incredible snow plow trucks, 5 of them in my fleet. Not sure what you've been dealing with, but sounds like you bought a lemon bud
Technically for this application, a 75W-85 GL-5 is in accordance with Ram recommendations for the front differential.
Not much different between 75 85 and 75 90
Technically it was 75w-90 GL-5 but they needed to meet fuel economy specs, so the y needed to change it to the lighter 75W-85 GL-5 simply either works 🙂
I have a 2019 3500 6.4 hemi with 47,000 miles how often should I change the front diff, rear diff, and transfer case fluid? I use the 4X4 system at least a few days a week for work. also what would be your recommendation for how often to change the trans fluid.
First time would be 50-60k and then every 100k after that with Amsoil. Transmission everything 50-60k to be safe
@@THEDriverMod_ thanks for the fast reply! Subscribed
@@MrCarttbone thanks man! I appreciate it! Are you doing all the services yourself?
@@THEDriverMod_ Yes I plan on it. I ordered the gear oil and trans fluid from amsoil last night. Have you changed the transmission fluid in yours? I have read different things online about the proper way to do it.
@@MrCarttbone this isn't my truck but I have not done a fluid service on one yet
How Many Bags did you need to put?!
I don't fully recall but if you have a hand pump and order the qts, 4 will be plenty enough
3 for the front
5 for the back
