- CBS reports at least three officers are dead after a shooting in East Charlotte. At least one suspect is dead, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Eight total officers were shot after the shooting in Charlotte. The severity of their injuries is not yet publicly known.

I’m watching the police chief briefing and it was 8 officers shot and 3 US Marshals killed.

Looks like they were all standing in a single-file line like some kind of Roman phalanx approaching the house and they just got knocked down like human dominoes. A local news station had a helicopter that got the whole thing on tape I just watched that.

This is not the beginning of murder this have been going on for many years and no one can do anything about it this is an everyday thing that will continue forever.

Why does it matter? You want to ban all the guns now? He was a felon so he acquired them illegally. Hence no law would have prevented it.
They usually won't say while it's still this active of an investigation. Had to have been a rifle with a large mag though.

Sounds like the suspect was better armed than they expected, the suspect had been arrested like 3 times for felon in possession of a weapon. in a case like that it always pays to expect the worst scenario

Actually it was 2 Charlotte Mecklenburg Police officers and 1 US Marshal that were killed. My friend is an officer and said 2 of his fellow officers are in surgery in critical condition right now.
