That store is jamming! I hit the Cherry Hill store Wednesday morning and it was already starting to get busy. I checked out the Ultra Luxe and the new denim. They are both damn nice, but a bit high for how much I play. I did, however pick up an almost mint used Squier Contemporary Strat for a great price.

I couldn't help myself. I probably would have either bought that black beauty Epiphone Les Paul Custom or an Anaconda Burst Slash Epiphone. But that's just me,I love LPs

You should make the cheapest hidden Jems at GC and other guitar shops like $300 used Gibson LP studio etc or $200 Ibanez 7 string with Dimarzio pickups 🤘

The sales……I grew up playing ice hockey. Sales with 10 to 15 percent off do not do anything. I got a pair of hockey skates the was a grand. Bought full price. To a week later that company sends me a pair. ….gutting. …but now I learning guitar. I went all out half rack. 5 guitars. Stuck on the why ….but all 5 have different sounds. ..learning still now I don’t have high end ones maybe. Kirk Hammett black Ibanez 7 string. A epiphone les Paul a epiphone ..forgot name. A shacter one. And. A budget one I planned on learning to build one. Or re do one.
I feel your pain. I am an ice hockey goalie and we all know how expensive that it is. On top I have been playing guitar for years and I love gear. Talk about expensive hobbies

I just remember those always being more than I wanted to pay for a 15W head even though the demos always sounded excellent.
Maybe the price dropped some and I should go look again - but I've got a couple Sunn/Fender 1200S to finish restoring and unload to make space/cash for some new to me amp goodness (realized like everyone else, even if I could turn them up they'd blow the power at my house lol). These days, however, I am increasingly fascinated by the Synergy amp platform and would bug PRS for the Tremonti preamp in Synergy form factor rather than buy one of the heads.
As usual, I'm belaboring the moment, so thanks for seeing me and stay healthy! After the 20th or 30th "guitar shopping" video, GC should really just let you pick a guitar to keep. :-) more than fair, you invest a lot of time and enthusiasm in them...
2 months ago I got a 50s Gibson standard at gc. I asked the worker if there were any deals he goes I can give you 20 percent off I’m like score, this was right when they bumped the Gibson prices up but they didn’t change the tag so I had to get it.

My local guitar center is never packed lmao its such a small store they have little to nothing interesting to look at. Yesterday i actually was able to somehow find a 450$ Ibanez RG470DX on sale for 300 and i got a pedal cause why not. Other besides that shit out luck for literally anything under 4 or 500$

Dude, you need to go back in there and buy that Flat Black Gibson Les Paul Trad Pro V (5)! They are only $1500 and are the BEST deal for a real Les Paul. PLUS it features an overwound Burst Bucker 3 in the bridge. I have one and they are great!!

Theres so many other great guitars that arent fender and gibson and alot that are better than them at half the price. I dont understand why people pay the ridiculous premiums for those guitars just for the name and to say "i have a gibson" or "I have a fender" i would rather spend my money with a brand/company that actually appreciates its customers and doesnt do stupid shit all the time. I would rather get sector and ibanez or solar esp/ltd jackson bc rich ect....
