after that video i found, there where bad brake fluid, pre owner put engine oil in it and rear brakes doesn't work, i fixed it and now working very good
It head quadra trac 2 in factory condition and i installed quadra drive 2 diffs, now I operating by button to lock the diff.. usually when 4 low engage car operates quadra trac 2.. if it’s can’t handle i can click the diff lock button and diffs are locked
Hi there Great demonstration. Can you tell me please how you were able to switch between the different systems ( open diff, Quadra drive 2 and Qudra Trac 2 ) in this video. It would be great to know how to activate and deactivate Quadra Drive 2, which is what I have, as having both front and rear diffs locked in some off road situations can sometimes be a disadvantage not often but having the choice would be very cool. Thank you.
My car got from factory quadra trac 2. So I installed quadra drive 2 rear axle, ist so easy just dismantled open diff and install quadra drive diff, its activating by 12 volt input by knob... by factory quadra drive 2 activate when it’s in 4 low, if you want to activating by hand there is some obd gadgets and by phone. Its can be activate manually

If its not too much trouble, can you please give a little more details how you achieve that? You swapped whole axle from some other jeep which had qd2 axel? And you have some knob inside to switch it on/off? Does QD2 axle fit to WJ with QT2, like size? Also it means your front axle is not QD2? Because i think originally, jeep with QD2 has both front and rear affected. I am not sure.
@@quaxxo7999 hi bro, nothing has a problem and trouble everything works like factory instead locking diffs activation(you must doit manually) first of all i did that on my wk as you mentioned above, just install whole axles and activate by knob, about WJ I don’t exactly know if the diffs has a same mount points, but i think 95% surely and say they will be the same and you can install qd2 diffs from WJ without any modifications. But iff you want install wk axels i think that would not be a good idea cos of many modifications. As i know WJ axles doesn’t have a activator solenoid, does it have system like wk axel?
Can’t understand what did you typed, but i will say that car comes from factory quadra trac 2 and I installed quadra drive 2 diffs, remove rear axel and front diffs and install quadra drive 2 diffs, doesn’t need any modifications it’s just remove and install, then activate by knob switch.

@@overlandhub1759 you haven't tried QD1 that's why they alot better even though they don't fully lock on the rear they perform way better than the wk1 QD2 t Try it and see for yourself
No, this jeep in video came from factory system named quadra trac 2, there are also system named quadra drive 2 witch has E-lsd in the diff... this models have both systems from factory, quadra trac 2 doing locks, on wheels slip by advanced traction,(ABS breaking) and quadra drive 2, locks axles 100% by frictions, watch the video and there are explanation how these two systems work..

The Quadra track 2 have low range and the Quadra drive 2 and the Quadra track 1 have or not
No it doesn’t have a low range gearbox ( quadra track1) it has only abs wheel braking

Sorry how exactly did you add only a rear quadra drive 2 axle? What about the front? Don't you have to change that too?
You can change witch one you want, It’s easy, everything is factory just grab qd2 diff and install activate by switch knob

Yes you can but without low gear transfer case it won’t be as good as it is, also you will get a hard life to the gearbox
