Lallana: Put in two good performances.
Harry Kane is the only player not playing well.
Sterling's been bad as well.
I think our team is great just Kane and Sterling were stopping things from happening. If Roy can just fucking play Vardy and Sturridge we may have a chance to get to a respectable place in the competition before we get knocked out.

Smalling has been weird this season, world class all season (except the end) but that was due to him playing every game bit getting ANY rest.
For the record I really enjoyed the banter we had with the Welsh fans during this game, was only giving back what we had received the whole time they led. It's called banter for those if you on your high horse....wish Wales well and hope they qualify

Its hard to play so defensive for 90 min like the teams at the euros have done and hold it down for 90 min so towards the end the fatigue gets to them and goals are scored for teams chasing the game late.

I like the 4-3-3 for England; lets us get the best out of Dele Alli imo as he has a lot of space to run in to. Plus Vardy will be fantastic as a left winger as he'll cut in, plus provide a wide option. Kane looked knackered against Wales and although I rate him I think Sturridge deserves to start. Same with Vardy, although arguably it's more that Sterling doesn't deserve to start...

ross121111 He has played 2 games. First game he was taking the corners, and had no one creating opportunities for him. Second game he still had no one creating opportunities for him plus he played 45 minutes.
That's why I'm suggesting Vardy and Sturridge up top with him so they can do the leg work whilst he hangs around in the box being the clinical striker he is.

So I was suggesting Vardy and Sturridge play on the wings whilst he plays in the middle so they can make the runs and target him in the middle.. He had Sterling who can't cross, pass or run past people and then Lallana who surprisingly played well against Wales, but still became quiet after the first 20 minutes.

Definitely agree that Kane needs a rest, he played as our only striker all season and is absolutely shattered. However i disagree with the notion that Alli should be dropped. He's vital to the team and has that tenacity that can win you games out of nowhere, and he also set up Sturridge for his goal.
