People who never seen him life or just started watching 5 or 6 years ago will never know the Messi between 2007 and 2013, he was unstoppable, never try to debate with any fan of another player because its hard to tell them how far above anybody else he was/is on a footballing level. Dribbling and creating, was on another level.

Messi was only good in Barcelona, real good player could perform well in any team like CR7 did.
Messi is awful in PSG, and awful in Argentina. CR7 was equally as good in ManU, Real Madrid, Juventus and Portugal.

I still find it incredible that he’s achieved so much and broken so many records that certain records barely even get spoken about. For example, scoring in 21 consecutive league games (meaning he scored against every single team as that’s how La Liga fixtures are arranged) is absolutely staggering. I feel blessed to have witnessed him throughout all the stages of his career.

excellent video. Really showed the aspect of Messi's persona as a feisty tenacious physical competitor. People don't really grasp how physical Pele and Maradona were. So was Michael Jordan in Basketball. When you have finesse and tenaciousness in a very competitive persona, you will end up with a great player.
Interesting how even in matches where he couldn't score he still was playing in an amazing level. I always wondered "wait, if he's that good, why isn't Barcelona winning the Champions everytime?" I guess that's football, at the end of the day, even playing that good, the rest of the team has to be almost as good as the top player.
Of course and I think that's why Pep could dominate all the teams with the Barca team by using all those players in a right way, I mean by making them play as a team and whenever needed the top players to do something of their potential to make thier team win.

I first heard of Messi in 2008 & from what I'd heard I thought Messi was a legend from the past, I didn't know he currently played because I'd never seen him. Then one day I see the final vs United & I see the starting lineup & there I see "Messi, 21 years old".. I knew from the moment I saw him touch a ball in that game that he was different.. and I've not missed a Barca game since. And I'm a Liverpool fan :) there where times I'd watch Barca instead of Liverpool just to see Messi play.
Shed a tear or two man...good times good memories. Will never forget his legacy 🪄🎩😕

a legend at 21... in most countries in Africa at a certain age we have to stop playing and focus on studying (bcz our parents think that's the only way to glory) so most of us never fulfill our dreams we just live to survive. I loved football when I was young so much that I always lied that I was born with footballboots and I was great at dribbling, I was bad at finishing so I was somewhat of a midfielder.
at 12 yrs I was pushed out of football even punished for it, but I was lucky because I was good at drawing. now after graduating in computer and electronics am an 2d animator( totally different to the years wasted in school). life is good now that I do what I love. but I always wonder if I was born in Europe or southamerica could I have made it as a pro football player.

I disagree. Even if it's always a matter of opinion which version of Messi might be the best. I believe from what i've seen in 2010 he had quite lot of things to improve in his game. 2010 was indeed a part of his prime, i just don't think it was his peak tough.
