In today's video, I will be conducting a 12 hours wear test and comparing side by side my beloved TOM FORD SHADE & ILLUMINATE Soft Radiance Foundation VS ESTEE LAUDER FUTURIST HYDRA RESCUE Foundation. We are going to find out if these foundations are the same, wear the same, set the same on dry and mature skin.

Interesting video- thank you for going into the ingredients. Percentages and formulation are key with foundations. I’m definite more curious about the Tom Ford now!
Very nice review & wear test of the 2 foundations. You cannot tell the difference in my opinion. I have only tried the TF one in the store but would like to try the EL to see the difference. Thank you for the review & wear test!!

I just got a sample of the TF foundation. Gosh, I really did not expect to love it like I do. I have the EL hydra rescue,and it cannot compared to the TF. I do not care for the EL one, I wasted my money on buying it. Settles in my pores, and my pores are so tiny, plus it’s kinda drying on me, although looks shiny. Even my husband noticed. When I wore the TF, sample, he said your skin looks flawless, and so smooth! I’m 65 years old here. Lol. I’m buying the TF soon.
Just arrived home from a day of shopping. Going on a trip soon, thought the same thing about Estee Lauder Futuristic hydra rescue moisturizing foundation being travel friendly. I was puzzled on the shade so I came home with two samples.
Hi Jackeline, thanks so much for this video it is so in-depth and I love that you showed the foundations in natural light - new subscriber here. Which tom ford shade in this foundation is the most true yellow undertone? I wish I could get the Estee Lauder one but Tawny is too pink on me and dark, I have tried Estee Lauder 2w2 but it is also not yellow enough. Any ideas? x
I tried both and the Tom Ford is far more superior (in my experience).... I hate to say it because the price tag but the feel of TF is so so nice and I have a SPF sensitivity but not with this one. It’s great 🥺😩 and looks great on the skin (I’m 40 with dry sensitivity skin)
The interesting part is that EL owns Tom Ford.

Thank you for the video Jackeline! I saw Mel's video and I was very intrigued by the Estee Lauder foundation. After all, that is a huge price difference. I feel like I can try the Lauder foundation, like you said, without guilt. The TF foundation is in very luxurious packaging, but that does not justify more than $100.00. I have many foundations and tinted moisturizers that I like, so I will wait to try this one. But, at least I know that the Lauder foundation won't set me back so much, and I can try some other products. Sisley is releasing a new Black Rose skincare product in the beginning of March and I am very excited to see what it is; I absolutely love the Black Rose products and Sisley! Regarding the Sisley skin tint - If you are apprehensive to blind buy it; perhaps you can go to a Sisley counter and try the shades (No. 1 works for me and I think you are close to my shade); they are very forgiving and they tend to blend into your skin. You need to try a color, but give it a little time to dry down on your skin and then you will be able to see which color is best for you. I know they only have light colors, you would think they would have darker shades by now. But, I don't know if it is because they are a French brand and they are catering to French women? Having said that, I would also think there are French women with darker skin tones and women of color living in France, so I really don't understand why they don't extend their shade range?! xo

Hi Jackeline I found the Tom Ford just lay on my skin much better than the Estée Lauder....I gave it to my mom....the Tom Ford lasted better on my skin...I thought there was no comparison...Tom Ford way better.

I just purchased the estee lauder futurist hydra rescue and it is a bombshell.....It is the SAME as the tom ford shade & illuminate...the first 14 ingredients are the same. With Tom Ford you are paying for the very fancy packaging!
I have samples of both and I’ve noticed my faces itches with the TF. 😏
Is it me or does the Tom Ford blur pores a bit more?? In 1 of the check ins it looked better.

Both look same i think both are very good foundations except the price
I’m not loving this foundation. I have it for a month now and I hate how my pores look in it and it settles in them esp on my nose and chin. Settled in lines too and I’m wearing it today and getting bumps on my skin. Maybe something in it is bothering me . I think I look so much better in my other foundations. I can’t wait to get home and wash my face
