Yes, me too! I often don't wear eye shadow or mascara. Just eyebrow pomade, a lovely base and SPF lip balm :) Gorgeous foundation. But I ready blew $$$ on Suratt Dew Drop 💁🏻♀️

it does look beautiful on you and obviously wears very well... I would be interested in your thought on TF foundation versus the Surratt Dew Foundation given the Surratt is half the price.
Just an FYI, Surrat's pretty expensive for the amount you get - it's only 19mLs!

This foundation looks beautiful on you! I do want to point out one thing though...I did a little sleuthing and this and the also new Estee Lauder Futurist Hydrating Foundation essentially have the same formula...The first sunscreen actives and first 13 ingredients are exactly the same, meaning the formulas are practically the same. The botanical extracts and oils used are a bit different (no lavender in the EL) but those are so far down the ingredient deck that they likely don’t make much of a difference.
The thing that really irks me is that the EL foundation is $45 for 35mL...I love Tom Ford but Estee Lauder keeps recycling their formulas, repackaging them with TF branding and making them ridiculously expensive. That shady shit makes me want to stop buying TF tbh. I’d much rather spend my money on actually innovative brands like Surratt.
Wow! VERY interesting. Mel Thompson reviewed the Estee Lauder Futurist Foundation a few days ago and it looked REALLY good on her, very natural, yet pretty.
I agree completely. Also, Tom Ford lipsticks go bad so fast!
So true! Tom Ford products are NOT worth the $$! The quality isn’t good and they have the audacity to charge that kind of $$ 😡🤯👎🏻
and the customer service of TF is terrible. Somebody mentioned that EL was becoming a bit of a brand destroyer, buying other brands like TF and Bobbi Brown and then producing things that aren't great or discontinuing things that worked well before. Isn't this why Bobbi Brown eventually had no choice but to leave her own brand?
Miss Sophie yes TF customer service is awful! They sent me a broken eyeshadow and it took them a month to replace it! I told them it was for a Christmas gift and I would even pay for expedited shipping on the replacement and I still received it after Christmas 🤯🤨 BB has also been destroyed - the quality has gone down tremendously!
I am 100% agree with your review, after watching this video I bought it and I just loved it so much. By the way , that nail polish is so fab. I just couldn't resist myself to keep my eyes off from your hands 💕💕👍🏽.

So glad I watched your video before I ordered (I was hoping you’d review this one!). I’m usually between 0.5 Porcelain and 1.4 Bone in TF foundations and I was 2.7 Vellum in this new one...if I hadn’t seen your review and then called my TF artist, I definitely would’ve ordered the wrong shade! Iris loves life - I'm going to compare this one to the new Estee Lauder Futurist foundation since TF is an EL company. I'm curious how close the ingredients are to warrant such a difference in price. Curious minds (mine) wants to know.
@@brendaf1033 That is a great idea. I'm definitely curious about the Estee Lauder foundation. I've been trying the Laura mercier flawless lumiere foundation for a couple of weeks now and I've really been enjoying at, so I'm all about the hydrating foundations right now. Please keep us updated!
@@irisk934 - I plugged the ingredients into google and both TF and EL foundations popped up. Active ingredients are the same with the same percentages. Percentages may differ on the rest - it is a long list of ingredients. I'm going to try the EL first. I'm not trying to be snarky but I don't always trust EL. In the past they have moved the exact same products between their brands and put a higher price tag. I could just be cranky because I had cataract surgery Tuesday and have the other eye scheduled next week and I can't wear makeup for at least 3 weeks. I've just been staring at my new ND Glam palette LOL
The finish is gorgeous! I'm not sure about the price tag - OUCH! I'll have to go in-store for a sample. But this does look so pretty on you!

I love all of your reviews Michele! You always look so pretty. I love the quads...the eyeshadows are si nice but $150 for a foundation is just plain ridiculous. Tom Ford should be ashamed putting lavender oil in there too...this is a known irritant and is bad for the skin. There are so many radiant foundations for half the price without irritants so I am glad you reviewed this and let us know!

The foundation looks amazing on you. I was wondering what you were wearing on last videos your skin was so radiant. I picked up a sample couple days at Nordstrom they don’t have any in stock. My shade was also darker than my usual TF foundation shade. But it is a beautiful foundation and goes on beautifully. It stayed on all day & I really had no info on the foundation other than spf 50. Of course I had no clue it was $150. Ouch! I’ll continue using my sample before deciding. I’ll look out for your updates on this foundation.

I just ordered, I can’t wait to try it. I got the shade that I wear in the Traceless foundation. Hopefully, the shades aren’t off I know sometimes it be like that with new foundations in the line. The price is steep, it’s $30 more than the La Mer.

Hey love.. that november doop was a good chuckle. Your so funny and i love your humour. I dont think your adding enough hydration in your skincare routine. With the availability of hydrating products on the market these days theres no reason for overly dry skin. As a sufferer of dry skin myself..i know how hard it is to keep makeup looking fresh..i found a hydrating toner after each step of the routine really boosted my hydration levels aswell as using a good mist to refresh and rehydrate before your next routine. Olay calm facial mist is surprisingly a really great and affordable mist that reallllly hydrates while also refreshing makeup. Check it out!! Also have you tried the 7 skin korean method? Much love! Thanks for another fantastic review! I really want to order it today but now I’m a bit confused by the shade range. Typically, TF 1.5 is my perfect match but your new match is such a different number. Maybe I’ll hold off until it’s at Nordstrom. I was initially bothered by the price leap although I bought the Surratt dew drop and I believe gram for gram it’s about the same.
I have to try that foundation after your review :-) Do You maybe know when coming out new TF eye and cheek paletts? Can't wait to get one of those.
I just got the new Estée Lauder ReNutrive foundation spf 20 and it is stunning. You have to try it. Pricey at like $105 but it is so glowing and dewy and gorgeous. It says it has crushed peridot one it. I am just in love with it.
You look incredible, I am shocked that this foundation stayed beautiful for that long. But the real shock was the price, at $150 a bottle, that is La Mer prices? I thought a high end foundation hurt at $50 a pop, but this yikes. Yet it looks like a dream, even through spicy soup! Thanks so much for this review. I would LOVE to find a holy grail "special" foundation.

I’m 5.5 Bisque in the TF foundation but I love this shade. I’m neutral/cool and wear Neutral in LP, 5.0 in Armani and 3.0 in Chanel. Do you think the 4.7 in this would be a good match? It looks divine on you. I always have my credit card ready when you do reviews. Lol

There are some skincare ingredients in there like hyaluronic acid. There’s a full ingredient list on their website.

I might be too late to ask a question here but I am almost 46 with quite dry skin. I am wondering if this is ok to use if you have lines on your forehead? I really like the look of this, your review was fab. Do you think this is ok for aging skin-it is in my basket I am so tempted to buy but I can't decide!
You’re very right about the shades between foundation ranges. I am a different shade in the stick, different in the compact and different in the traceless. Even the SA said that you need to try each because the shades are not the same. Very strange.

I know this review is from 2 years ago, however I am happy that I did not get the foundation. You mentioned the lavender scent and I really dislike it. I was so close to buying it yesterday, they did not have my shade. They tried to sell me a unmatching tone which for that price point I do not want to have a foundation darker than my neck lol. Love the review so much🥹❤️

Your skin looks beautiful! Seems like the foundation makers have been steppin up thier game. I have tried Guerlain Essentials and Ko Gen Do Aqua and both are nicer than evem my La Mer. I am still hunting for that perfect mix however ...as I find I need to add a quality moisturizer in with those foundations to make them work best for me.
