As an AZ Alkmaar fan, I can tell you he has been the best coach since Louis van Gaal in Alkmaar. He adapts to any level. He handles the press with honesty and respect. His next step is to have the same belief from top players. Because let's face it, he has not coached any of those so far. Is he believable for the great stars of Liverpool? I have no doubt he will take that step as well, knowing his social skills and the full support of Van Dijk. An extremely intelligent, likable coach with an endless drive and winner's mentality. I am happy he will go to Liverpool. Good luck!
Thanks for that. Makes a lot of sense. Slot being an English word as well. You could say "put the key in the slot" and it would make sense. Although the slot would be the hole and not the lock itself. I don't know why I love stuff like that.

It’s almost discriminatory the way Slot is treated by English fans. Instead of doing some of their own research they write him off because he shares nationality and hair volume with someone else.
Arne Slot has all the potention to be a topcoach. He deserves all the praise he gets in the reactions here. I have been a Liverpool fan sinds Rush, Grobbelaar, Barnes, etc. (and Feyenoord) There are a lot of parallels between Feyenoord and Liverpool. The mentality of the fans and the club. It's impossible to predict the future, but I really believe Arne Slot is soon to be loved at Anfield. What doe it say when a coach leaves the club and everybody roots for him. This guy deserves a statue for what he dit for Feyenoord and their fans. Nothing overdramatic about that. We were a club of fatalists, until Arne came.
Liverpool fan here. Honestly I'd never heard of him as I don't follow Dutch football. But I like what I've read and heard. If it happens I won't be mad. As I said before when the identity of Liverpool's next manager was being discussed earlier in the season it seemed like the media were sure it was Alonso or Amorim, I commented that the new boss might be someone who isn't even in the running. As Arne wasn't back then. However that point still stands and Liverpool hierarchy have the habit of doing surprising things and signing players left of field, the last being Wataru Endo's signing who no-one saw coming. Even at this stage I wouldn't rule out a name that hasn't even made the conversation so far.
Arne Slot is a very smart man with a vision. He's a fan of Guardiola and let's his teams play great football. What he dit at Feyenoord is amazing. He got a team that is not known for playing attractive football to play great football. Final conference league, Champion of the netherlands and if PSV were not having the most amazing League season ever in their history he would be champion again. We wanted him at Ajax when Ten Hag would leave but he was already signed by Feyenoord. We hated that. He fits Liverpool and he will do great!
The photo of Slot playing for Zwolle at around 1:34 is cool to me because the guy he's celebrating with is Súni Olsen, who was my coach when I was a kid back in our little village in the Faroe Islands.
As an Ajax fan, I’ve been on the opposing side of Slot and his strong squad. I think his European record is impressive, but it could’ve been more impressive if they didn’t barely lose to Roma every single time. Roma are now UEL semi finalists and I think it’s safe to say Feyenoord has been the strongest opposition they have faced on the way there. They honestly deserved to make it out of the UCL group. Slot’s been a consistent winner across a few seasons now. I mean, PSV beat them in the league, but Feyenoord beat them in the cup. I was hoping for NEC to win the final though… as a Nijmegenaar.
Great vid man keep up the great work. As a Liverpool fan if we can get Slot I will actually be satisfied but the only thing is we Liverpool fans must be patient with him like Arsenal were with Arteta

Finally someone that says his name right, most people say Arnie... That aside, I wonder how this will go given the similarities to EtH. Making a jump to a team like Liverpool will still be a big step that could quite easily go wrong.
Liverpool is a bit more stable than Man U though to be fair. I think Ten Hag could be doing a lot better if he didn't have to spend so much time and energy managing Rashford and Garnacho off the pitch, and dealing with the new ownership of the club. Also, while Slot doesn't quite have the CV that EtH does, I do think he has fewer flaws and is just generally more flexible than Erik.
Besides nationality and hairstyle the two really don't share that much similarities to be fair. Slot is far more likeable and Liverpool is run a whole lot better than Man U is. EtH having to rebuild without a functional scouting department and club management didn't help him. Liverpool luckily doesnt have this problem which increases the odds for Slot to succeed dramatically. Personality-wise I think Klopp and Slot share quite a bit.
Slot is the best thing that happened to Feyenoord in the past 50 years. He's been a winning lottery ticket, he's an exceptional manager and a great eloquent guy.
He nullifies opponent threats and exploit their weaknesses while still allowing every player on the field to play in his strengths. He had €4.5M to spend, took some €500k-€1M players and made a European Final
@@waso778 No they haven't. They spend 35.8 mill this year and sold for 37.5 mill. Last year they've spend 36 mill and sold for 70 mill. Slot's first year, with the conference league final, they've spend 8.5 mill and sold for 6.8 mill.
I like to believe that Arne Slot is the right man for Liverpool FC, and to those who chatter about a Klopp vacuum like in Arsenal after Wenger, not to mention Man Utd after Ferguson - forget it. Liverpool haven't had a top consistency in the last couple of seasons, even if they managed to capture three cup titles, but Slot takes over a solidly organised club, and Michael Edwards is back as sporting director, so the recent inconsistency can might as well mean that Slot improves the team and can take them the next step, before we know it. Up where we belong. The Bald Eagle comes flying across the channel, and he' got every opportunity to make a secure landing.
this video, though really good, only scratched the surface of his brilliance. Liverpool fans will enter a new era of succes with him. I might even start watching Liverpool games
Liverpool fans will realise soon what kind of boss Arne Slot is. Of course Ten Hag achieved more back in the days in Holland, but with a transfer budget of around 100M. Slot really started at Feyenoord with 4M(!) transfer budget. This summer we could sell most players from the starting 11, for more then 25M each! Liverpool fans, enjoy the next seasons! YNWA
Klopp will be credited with waking the sleeping giant that was Liverpool. Arne Slot will break City's dominance and bring multiple champions leagues to Anfield Road.
Informative video, he seems like a great pick and has the charisma and likeability of Klopp it seems. Of course as a bald I'd be very happy to have another in the league
As a Feyenoord fan. Have no worries. Arne Slot is the best coach i've ever witnessed in Europe. I'd rather keep Arne and replace a whole squad instead of selling this genius.
As a life long Feyenoord supporter I am very sad to see Slot go since he's the best manager i've seen on our pitch. Hopefully he will continue this at Liverpool!
I've never seen a trainer that good, in the forty years I am following Feyenoord. Doesn't mean he will be a success at Liverpool, but he sure is promising.
Well, as a Liverpool fan, the first time I've heard the name "Arne Slot" was literally earlier this week. I have zero clue on this guy. But nevertheless, I'll back whoever comes to the club regardless of their standing in the game. I believe in the club's "fit and proper test" process and hope he will be another magnificent capture for us.
Great video, my compliments. A thing about slot is also that he has no trouble bringing in talents from lower leagues, that after a period of adjustment will surprise many.
From what I’ve read that point about training is off. He’s incredibly conscious of workload and sessions are lower intensity. They monitor sprint speed and frequency to keep players under 20km red zones and never play 11v11 games in training
Liverpool are doomed, liverpool are know for their intensity, never stop pressing, late goal. If now, player dont get double session in training, i doubt the player can run for 90 minute straight in premier league intensity, as you know FA fixture is insane.
@@igedewahyuarsanathis is exactly what Slot is known for. The Championship of last season came from a lot of never-give-up games and outsprinting opponents in the last 10 minutes of the game. Being conscious of workloads in training sessions and conditioning made the team able to beat their opponents on intensity. It also took transferred players a couple of months to reach the conditioning that is required to play Slot's game. Something that can be said for Klopps game as well.
He's tactically really strong. All the changes he makes during a match and half time make the team better. He straight up turned down Leeds last year and wasn't too upset with the Spurs deal falling through. I think a club like Spurs is one step up from Feyenoord, but Liverpool is a level above that even. I think he's an incredibly smart guy and i'm fully confident he can handle this job.
Read an interview with a former norwegian player he trained in AZ, Jonas Svensson.. He said that in spite of being a assistant manager the first year he "took over" the leading role just because he was so dedicated. He also referred to him as the best manager he ever had, and he never doubted that he will end up in a big team in the future.
I don’t doubt the man, I’m behind him all the way. I doubt the FSG financial support to help him succeed. He will have the same obstacle to overcome as his current club. I really hope I’m wrong and wish him nothing but success.
As a Feyenoord fan i can only say positive things about him. He raised Feyenoord from mediocrity on top. I would love him to stay for 1 more season but i'm fully aware that you cannot stop eagle from flying and hunting. He deserve his chance in world top league. He was perfect for managing young players that i'm not sure how he gonna manage players with such high status as in Liverpool. This is huge challenge for him and completely different environment than he've had in Alkmaar and Rotterdam.
From now on if someone asks me: ''Who is Arne Slot and what is he about?'' I'll show them this video! Great Storytelling of his career and uprise as a manager and how he got there, Brilliant Video! Keep it up 👏💯
Pardon me if you already have, but I’d love a vid covering Brasil, managerial prodigal son, Fernando Deniz. Maybe even expand the topic off to how odd it is that there are so many amazing masterclass Brasilian players in Europe, but not managers.
Liverpool fans can rest assured. Arne Slot is one of the most talented young trainers. High pressing, intensity and attacking football, coupled with superior tactical ability, make Arne's teams an almost unbeatable team. Intelligent, communicative and convincing. It is not without reason that arch-rival Ajax was defeated 10-0 this season (over two games). I would prefer to keep him in Rotterdam for another season, but give Liverpool his leadership. A worthy successor to Klopp and in no way comparable to the bald one from Manchester United.
As our club is in transition phase...so ... Until... yesterday...the guy..Andra slot was not Liverpool fan ...he has nothing to do with our club ..but suddenly he is our manager now ... We have to embrace him ...his philosophy..his idealogy...and make him ease ..to work .. make him feel home .. because.. except we (the LFC fans) everyone on the earth wants him to fail ...it's up to us guys .. trust believe.. the process..
As a Liverpool fan from the netherlands, I was hoping to see Liverpool sign Alonso after Klopp mentioned he's final season. My first reaction when i heard Arne Slot was taking over Klopp's job: Hmm never tought of this collab, but this might actually be a real good match. Slot is extremely dedicated to he's job, studies every opponent to the fullest, makes players better, just by using them in the right way on their strength and making them fit in he's philosophy..he's always calm and a gentleman, got the loyalty of the squad and brought prices to clubs with lower budgets than the opponents. Hard to compare with ETH, Arne is just a bit more down to earth, standing above alot of bullshit from outside
I am a Cambuur supporter and when Slot took over the team that year, the team really came alive, if only he would have taken charge earlier, we might have been promoted that year.
Managerial appointments in major PL clubs (going back to Villas-Boas at Chelsea)1. Phase 1: media announce the appointment and are full of praise for him. The Guardian writes a billion articles about his tactics, intelligence, flexibility and ability to speak various languages. The "recruitment process" is also deemed worthy of praise, since it feeds into the self-perpetuating myths about how efficient and well-run English club are. Phase 2: The honeymoon. Early results look good, sounds like the right choice has been made. Phase 3: The challenges. No description needed: looking at what happened to Villas-Boas, Moyes/van Gaal/Mourinho/anybody at United and Emery at Arsenal are more than enough. Phase 4: time to say goodbye. Manager departs, and the same media who praised him earlier now claim the writing was on the wall, it was always going to fail, etc. In the case of Slot, expect observations about the horrible record of Dutch managers outside of the Eredivisie and Slot's own struggles in Europe (3x eliminations to teams like Lazio and Roma, who are not even title challengers in Serie A).
We will gonna miss him, but i wish him all the prices.. Besides winning he brought back the pride..He is smart, not acting stupid and straight forward.

As a Ajax fan I hoped he would become our coach if Ten hag would leave but nope, Feyenoord did what it had to do. And the Slot Feyenoord is the best era I seen Feyenoord in. Good scouting also but this guy, is a coach that is destined to become top. Bosz is making PSV champion but Slot is the best coach in Holland, period.
there's nothing more Liverpool and FSG than being linked to all the high profile people that the media think make most sense, then finding someone that most people hadn't even considered and recruiting them instead. With the players they've took that approach with i now trust their judgement.
Liverpool should go in for: - Osimen - Isaak - Kudus - Geertruida If Slot brings several players with him from Feyenoord that should refresh things enough.
Also playing the most exciting game doesn’t mean you will win the league…. We have seen this even with Klopp. And City and now Arsenal and Spurs who are on an upward trajectory will make his career even tougher in the PL. The PL is the toughest league in the world - every weekend you could lose and most other clubs want to beat Liverpool more than anyone else. Not an easy assignment. I think it will be too tough for him!

Even among the best 5-6 managers in the world there are levels. I believe Slot is maybe in the top 6, but there is a top 2, with Xabi and Arteta threatening to make it a top 4.
Good luck!
I just want to clarify that Slot means lock in Dutch.
No lock shaming.
So it's a lock already! 👍👏😊😊
another Dutchie looking for attention
Thanks for that. Makes a lot of sense. Slot being an English word as well. You could say "put the key in the slot" and it would make sense. Although the slot would be the hole and not the lock itself. I don't know why I love stuff like that.
It means "Castle"
Here's a Feyenoord fan from the Netherlands. He is a genius and we will really miss him. For me the best trainer I have seen and I was born in the 80s.
He is so intelligent and his playing style is unique in my opinion. I understand that the English are skeptical because of Ten Hag, but you cannot compare him, completely different personalities and different playing style.
I believe he will be a big succes 🤞
Is he like your klopp?.
@@Scifit1i’d say even more likeable
It’s almost discriminatory the way Slot is treated by English fans. Instead of doing some of their own research they write him off because he shares nationality and hair volume with someone else.
True!! Somw fans are very dumb
@@danielvandamIt just gives him more room for surprise when they find out that he is better than the other one
We were a club of fatalists, until Arne came.
arne slot is the best thing that happened to feyenoord in a long time together with Dennis te Kloese.
Liverpool will be surprised how good the man is,Liverpool will be top fit and aggressive.
I trust Michael Edwards.
@@teddies1992 Me too. I think he's earned that trust.
You won’t be mad? You should be doing a dance thanking your maker
@@dutchieq3059 Music to my ears.
Slot is gonna be new Prem GOAT coach
We won't be patient because most of us don't want him.
@@nonnayoubuzinnes1669, who's most?

@@nonnayoubuzinnes1669, what a bollocks. Are you everton fan or what?
Brilliant deduction. I’m a big feyenoord supporter and the hate slot get’s from Liverpool supporters makes me feel they dont deserve him
LFC fans don't hate Slot. Haven't heard that once. Just because 200 idiots claiming to be LFC fans are saying it, doesn't mean the hundreds of millions have...
bro most fans honestly are not we are just unsure of him and the idiots compare him to ten hag just because he’s bald and Dutch
Amazing analysis Adrian🙏🏻
I really hope it works out for him to come to LFC🤘🏻
What an achievement for Arne to take the top Slot for Liverpool's next manager! 👍👏
Finally someone that says his name right, most people say Arnie... That aside, I wonder how this will go given the similarities to EtH. Making a jump to a team like Liverpool will still be a big step that could quite easily go wrong.
Thanks for the tip on his name, didn't realise we were all getting wrong!
The prem will destroy him Lol
@@TheModeler99 Yeah, thats what they said about Klopp.
Spend 37 million euro this year, last year 45..
I would love to claim Hancko for the Czech Republic, but sadly for us, he is Slovak.

He could be, you just have to reunite
Been waiting for you to drop a video on him 🙏🏽
Vid on Stuttgart? From relegation play-offs to 3rd as of now
think he did spoke about them here and there, might be not in a dedicated video yet, not sure
perfect summery of the man.. Brilliant video. simple, straight forward and to the point. keep it up my guy.
He made my club Feyenoord great again. It will be a very sad day when he leaves the club.
this video, though really good, only scratched the surface of his brilliance.
Arne Slot will break City's dominance and bring multiple champions leagues to Anfield Road.
who? 😆
I love how you put in effort to pronounce people's names correctly! Great video mate!
Except Slot himself, of course 😂
Informative video, he seems like a great pick and has the charisma and likeability of Klopp it seems. Of course as a bald I'd be very happy to have another in the league
The video says it all. Feyenoord was down and out with a huge debt. Now they are financial stable. Compliment for the research
Been around the block and this is by far the best football RUclips channel
Someone finally can properly talk.thank You.
This is good content from rabona TV.
modern era Bob Paisley
From what I’ve read that point about training is off. He’s incredibly conscious of workload and sessions are lower intensity. They monitor sprint speed and frequency to keep players under 20km red zones and never play 11v11 games in training
Liverpool are doomed, liverpool are know for their intensity, never stop pressing, late goal. If now, player dont get double session in training, i doubt the player can run for 90 minute straight in premier league intensity, as you know FA fixture is insane.
@@igedewahyuarsana the numbers show his team are right at the top of the pressing stats
It's going to be a tough job, Liverpool is going through a massive change in the next 2 seasons. Hope he can pull it off
I don’t doubt the man, I’m behind him all the way.
This is huge challenge for him and completely different environment than he've had in Alkmaar and Rotterdam.
he is really an incredible man and can greatly bring an impact on liverpool performance
You gave great insight and made some valid points. Loved the video. Thank you.
Atleast he'll have a whole pre season campaign to get used to the players, that's big. Great video, I learnt alot about Mr Slot. Ynwa.
From now on if someone asks me: ''Who is Arne Slot and what is he about?'' I'll show them this video!
Great Storytelling of his career and uprise as a manager and how he got there, Brilliant Video! Keep it up

We gonna mis him.. you will gonna love him , He is a genius
Am New here 🙋🏾♂️ and I loved the way u presented Arne Slott to us....well done mate❤️💪💪💪
Slot is a coach who has achieved great success with C players for years. He makes players better.
imagine what he can achieve with A players.
Pardon me if you already have, but I’d love a vid covering Brasil, managerial prodigal son, Fernando Deniz. Maybe even expand the topic off to how odd it is that there are so many amazing masterclass Brasilian players in Europe, but not managers.
I hope Slot can bring his strong coaching traits to Liverpool. I wish him the best.
Thanks for your presentation I now have some information on Slot.
Glorious analysis 👏👏👏👏
He is the the best dutch coach at this moment!
Ten Hag’s dutch isn’t great either😂 During his time at Ajax he was often mocked because of it
Interesting to see him have less and less hair throughout the various stages of his career as a football player. 😅😂
Amazing Analysis!!!🧠❤️👏🏾,

Slot ability to work with what he's given and being comfortable relying on the club's recruitment will be pivotal with Edwards' return to Liverpool.
Great video Adrian! Could you maybe muster up something like this about DDR in Roma? I’d love to hear your analysis and what you think about his approach. ✌🏼
Great review my friend 👍

As a Liverpool fan, the last 2 seasons I didn't have much interest watching lfc, nothing to do with Klopp but they forgot to enjoy football. Now im looking forward to next season
This will work 💯
As a Rotterdammer i’m fucking crying bout him leaving. Best coach we had in my lifetime 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
there's nothing more Liverpool and FSG than being linked to all the high profile people that the media think make most sense, then finding someone that most people hadn't even considered and recruiting them instead. With the players they've took that approach with i now trust their judgement.
Slot was a technically gifted nr. 10. An attacking midfielder. You forgot to point that out.
Fuck im gonna miss him... take care of him lfc fans.
Great video, educated me well in the Slote way
Liverpool should go in for:
- Osimen
- Isaak
- Kudus
- Geertruida
If Slot brings several players with him from Feyenoord that should refresh things enough.
Great coverage ❤
Second best coach in cambuur history (Henk de Jong can never be topped)
By the way Slot is not complete without Sipke Hulshoff
I mean, Happel won't ever be topped as well at Feyenoord.
I think it will be too tough for him!
yes but are you looking at the other managers from holland , and , how they have done overseas ?
The only thing going against him, is the fact he is replacing Klopp. Who is now a legend at Anfield. I for one am excited.
Your video is fvking good bro, im new here, in love already to arne slot and the RUclipsr adrien❤ keep it up
Informative.
Inzaghi was a pretty good striker in his playing days. Simone Inzaghi I mean. His brother Filipo was even better but as manager, Simone Inzaghi seems better.
Roberto Mancini and Kenny Dalglish were also pretty great attackers during their playing days. Lol.
