How to Make White Russian Cocktail Home | Pro | Expert
• How to Make White Russ...
On this episode of Vladflix I made 3 different Gin Tonic cocktails. Home Version, Pro Bartender with large ice, premium gin and third version is "rainbow Gin Tonic" that you can possibly find in proper mixology cocktail bars.
I used Ingredients
Bluecoat gin
Angelica Gin (from Iceland)
Hendricks Gin ( my favorite)
and I highly recommend to use Q Mixers for your tonic choice

Michel Weißenborn yeah I have one but haven’t taste it yet ☺️
@@VladSlickBartender well it would be great if you could show some drinks you can make with it🖒

ahhahaah OMG where you watching it from 😅
Me too hahaha, from italy
Same same, greeting from Bavaria. Stay safe at all! 💪🏽🔥
Stefan Eckert greetings!!!
There must be a different algorithm for 3 am cuz it just appeared in my recommendations. 😂
I love these Home, Pro, Expert videos. I'd like to see a lot more of them. They give your channel something extra special and give me ideas for different presentation styles for my guests.
Absolutely! I’m on it
(as in the heat coming from the quality of these videos, theyre fire)
Imagine your bartender Starts making an ice sculpture in front of you when you order your drink
Search for japanese bartenders. Some of them make exactly this, like diamonds and other sculptures. Really fancy!
That would be sick I’d gladly wait for it
I will change bar then because I came to drink not too watch a show .
usually the ice is prepared beforehand and they just scoop it in the glass
Do an ice making tutorial on different cubes and stuff and getting clear ice etc
Will do! Love working with clear ice
Vlad SlickBartender Absolutely a legend mate appreciate it so so much
i would also love to see how do you make these kinds of clear ice :)
CluTchNass i bet you just use distilled water
Jacob Verner no, theres a little more to it
love that layering technique with the citrus slices and icecubes.
for hendricks gin and tonic cucumber is a good garnish. if you are a completionist you can add rose leaves, but those might be overpowering. personally i hate preparing cucumber for garnish, but it always looks really nice. at our bar we do lemon slices for tanqueray, cucumber for hendricks and grapefruit zest or wedge for monkey 47 gin & tonics.
cheers from hamburg
that's the wrong way to do it :( I like Hendricks gin tonic without tonic and any garnish
@@BPFACTS88 so just Hendricks with ice?
@@albertsign1166 Drink it straight from the bottle, preferably in a paper bag, "bum style". No glassware needed.
For Tanqueray in my place we use lime slices, for Bombay we use lemon, for Hendricks is cucumber, pink gin is grapefruit and portobello same,
@@leanu6531 Lime pairs nicely with Tanqueray.
In Brazil we usually use the lemon juice and put some spices in the gin tonic, like star anise and hibisco, this kind of spice gives a unique taste
I love the 3rd Gin & Tonic you made! Great idea, and the presentation is flawless!! I will try this one soon!
I don’t think there is any other channels better that this on RUclips my favorite!!!!nice, sophisticated, top notch and right on the level of expertise you are able 😂 thanks Vlad.
"Were gonna need a lime wheel from each fruit" XD 3:30
I had to smile at that. His English is WAY better than any of my foreign languages, though, so I let it go.
"And drink the whole thing within 2 seconds" lololol. Those are rules I can follow
That last one was so pretty 😍
2 seconds club 😅😂
@@VladSlickBartender sounds like typical customer 😉
@@ScottWaa yeah 🤣🤣
Is there another way?
Michel Weißenborn yes a lot! Check out video on this channel top 10 Gin Tonic cocktails 🤟
It's amazing to see how much you have improved with your editing/ voice-overs!
outstanding! u r the first bartender not boring to watch and who s brining something cool i never seen ! greetings from itaLY
All-time favorite! Perfect for the afternoon chill! Thanks!
Dude, your channel is my new addiction here at youtube!!! Thank you so much!
Boom!! Love the 3rd one will definitely do it once im back to work
Rainbow gin tonic 💥🔥
Don't forget also to use grapefruit
Love the frozen citrus wheels! Definitely going to do some of those :)
Last one is a really cool idea, I even prepared a couple of glases before hand and but them in the freezer with ice and fruit, and just took them out and poored in the drink when I wanted to serve it
good idea
Best video on this topic and almost important details thank you so much for this video 🤗
I love my GinTos ! Sometimes I use cucumber slices or little cubes of peaches! It’s delicious!.. Will try the 3rd one for sure!
I dont drink cocktails, but I cant stop watching! Might have to start mixing and drinking
Wow! Your clear ice is divine!
Just found out this video today and totally love it!!! 💓
I's take the home version with my favourite gin & tonics, but the last one looks lovely! I will try that next time :)
You are a cocktails wizard Vlad !
Love this! #3 was my favorite, #2 is easier though. I'm going.to try Q and elderflower. Thanks for the upload 🙏
Last one! Hands down! Tho the first one works, too, the third one looks and sounds amazing.
the second one is just extra work for no reason, but the third one is damn cool. And easier as well. and simple yet sophisticated. Love it
I love this community, its so nice
I don't even drink like that but I can't stop watching these lol, Love seeing an expert at work
Great content Vlad, keep it up. we love you in Canada.
would love to see options to make the clear ice both professional and home made pls! cheers
That rainbow one looks amazing
Great video Vlad 💪
Love this thank you bud
Thank you champ!! 🙏💛
I usually use a balloon gin glass for g&t's for my customers. I did not know there was an expert way of making a gin and tonic lol thanks for this it will definitely make presentation in the bar more classy! 👊 Thanks as always Vlad keep up the good work. That triple slice in the glass is soo creative.
Thanks! Yes don’t forget there suppose to be top layer of grapefruit 💪
Wow simple but really brilliant way to garnish
Dude you gotta be a millionaire bartender. You make things no one else I’ve ever seen! You got some hella artistic skills man. No bars or restaurants here in Tennessee does drinks like this. No clear ice, no presentation. Just cloudy ice in a plastic cup thrown together is all we get
Thanks 😊
I just discovered your channel and I love your work ! Please do a ice clear making tutorial !
Oh layering frozen fruit is so cool! That's something I might mess around with when I make my next G&T, I made some clear ice I've sealed away a little while ago and I might as well put it to good use
That Generic Canadian Really hope you will enjoy it! Thanks 😊
Fever Tree has an Angostura Bitters tonic that's pretty fantastic
Vlad, you are one of the best bartenders in the world.
The last one was the best !!
I am really excited to try the rainbow gin and tonic.
The last one 🙌🏼🤘🏼
The Last One Looks Magical
Nilrudra Paira 🤟🔥
Wow the rainbow one is so cool
That's insane!!! 👍👍 i thought my home version was enough 😂😂😂
Hola soy de Perú no se mucho inglés pero me encanto tu vídeo y ahora ganastes un fan 😍 me encanta y también trabajo de bartender y ahora veré todos tus vídeos, Bendiciones y Éxitos
I don't really know why m watching this. But it's pretty iconic.
Can you make a French 75 or a Ramos Gin Fizz. I've done many variations but I would like to see how you make it. Especially the RG-Fizz
Thanks Vlad I like your Videos verry much👍👍
interesting with the angostura! Will be trying that soon
Finally found something to watch
Piece of ART😍
Salivating kinda!
I love the third way
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 tnk u!
I love gin and tonics. I'm inspired by the "pro" version!
Wow the Rainbow One looks really Awesome OwO
Love the video. Cucumber with hendricks for me!
Gin and Tonic is my only drink!. My best friend is always telling me to try Hendrix. U mentioned it as ur favorite...so Now ill try. Loved yr video 👌💯👍

It looks so fantastic - from south korea
I think this will be the video to get me to like Gin and Tonic for sure💯
Fantastic how you made it international! Please do more, watching and appreciating hat you're doing
!
I would say the Pro version just hits the spot.
I'm you are bIg fan sir thank you so much. I love gin tonic cocktail 🍸
he’s the best bartender
Gin tonic saffron is my favorite!
"Pro Gin Tonic"
*proceeds to throw in an iceberg, lime and smashes the bubbles out of the tonic water*
I seriously got triggered when I saw the amount of ice our friend here uses in so many of his cocktails. What's the point? I think I'd feel scammed if I got served something like that at a bar :D
That's why you can always ask for less ice or no ice to swap out for a chilled glass.
@@mpbiggame1010 There's actually few reasons for using ice. First, indeed, fill the space. the ratio alcohol/soft drink is already good, if I were to fill your glass completely by respecting the ratio, you would be drunk after the second one. If I add too much soft drink, you will basically drink juice with a spin of alcohol. Glass is important also to simply dilute a bit your drink, depending on which one, and of course, leaving it chill. Ice also serves as a decoration. In the pro version it feels like there is a lot of ice, but if it was smaller cubes or shredded, it would take way less space and you would probably feel less triggered.
Of course there are also drinks without ice, but usually the soft drink amount is more important or the ratio is respected but you get ~3oz drink.
Theres's also of course stronger cocktails without ice (Espresso Martini, which is 1oz of Vodka, 1oz coffee liquor and 1oz espresso) but you won't get 5 of them.
Besides, yes, you can also not enjoy that much ice and ask for less, but usually, unless the guy making you the cocktail is an amateur/incapable, you will get a decent and equilibrated drink
@@mpbiggame1010 using less ice will water down the drink. more ice melts slower
@@94djcab fair points, thanks for taking your time and replying! An interesting insight... though ultimately it seems like a purely preferential element
Guess next time im at a bar ill ask for LESS ice 😂
Vald where do you get the the metal bar trench with glass washer, I want one for my bar top at home. thank you
I love how I am not even old enough to drink but I watch these vids anyways
Wow, this looks delicious! I would make the Hendrick's version with cucumber though. It really brings the drink alive and makes it feel like you're drinking fresh, tasty air. You should also try the award winning Napue G&T with Napue gin, some nice tonic water, a twig of rosemary and frozen cranberries. Yummy! :)
Sami Söderblom hope I can get that gin after quarantine 😅
Hendrick's is my fave too--with a bit of pineapple juice & mint
Do you also put pineapple on your pizza?
Not yelling for the metal straw but surely yelling for the lime on Hendricks gin ! Cucumber my dear child !!
I love gin and my favorite coctels are gin sour and gin basil. Can you make a different choose?
The last one is great for photography that elevation speaks for itself
that "bam" really got me
I really did like them, and I’d like to make more/different drinks all the time. Liked all of them but definitely 3th one for sure topped them all.
Glad you like them!
Vegetables in a Gin Tonic is like a spoiler on a Ferrari!
The garnish of number three is amazing .
greetings from Argentina
Sergio javier gracias! Greetings from Las Vegas 🔥🤟💪
Try Venus #1 & #2 and tell which one you prefer. I prefer #2 on the rocks, but I like both.
Ye, an explanation video for make clear ice is really appreciated ;)
I will post it here or my insta for sure!
i mostly put cucumber in the gin tonic and sometimes a little bit of peper on top
Watching from Philippines 😊 I'm newbie to your channel 😇
What great vids! Awesome ideas. I particularly love the 3 fruit variety. Great visual on that one. Have you done a vid with fruity cocktails, like planters punch? Could you do a fruity cocktail version?
cviccal great idea I will work on fruity cocktails 🍹
FeverTree tonic is outstanding as well
Nice. Just now I have drinking a gintonic
When ever there is house party at my place guest always want to drink cocktail made by me but i don't know how make big square and clear ice.
Please do make that tutorial so i can impress my guests
I have only but 1 question what do you do with all these drinks after you make them do you give them away or do you drink them
Nice Video Best Regards from Baltics! It's nice to learn something new everyday! I love Gin n Tonic!
For your convenience SECOND channel is here!
Is there a purpose to pouring the tonic in parts? Instead of just one smooth motion. Or is it just to stop from bubbling too much?
Cool channel with a lot of ideas that i might steal :)
Motivates me to get up from my chair and actually practice on making cocktails ;P
"Drink the whole thing within 2 seconds" lmao that floored me 😂😂😂
I like the last one
number 1 is way more classic i like it
Blue lagoon cocktail is a good one to make
