  • Ferrari 328 GTS Full Restoration A Journey From A Basket Case Ferrari Into A Show Winner. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look behind the scenes of our new Ferrari 328 GTS restoration project that kicks off Spring of 2024. This car came to me from an international client who saw my prior Ferrari restoration work on the F355 and 328 GTS online and requested if I would take on his challenging project. I knew firsthand it would be a challenging restoration but once the car got here and we realized all the damaged and missing parts it has become very challenging but also rewarding to see the progress so far. Remember there is no such thing as a CHEAP FERRARI! because the parts cost alone will sink most who do not have the budget to resurrect cars in this condition. We are fortunate to have amazing clients who are dedicated to having us work our craft to bring their restorations back to life. I have been working 7 days a week on this car for the last 4 weeks with my team and we have made substantial progress so far. The highlights are part of this video and next Episode 2 you will see the entire chassis and driveline come together to the highest show standards. Once we shake down the mechanicals it is off to our artisan body and paint team to fully strip and repaint the 1986 328 GTS in original Glasurit Rosso Corsa Single Stage paint for the most authentic restoration. I do not believe in base coat clear paint jobs on older cars for many reasons. When the car is at body and paint I will be restoring the entire interior leather and I have already started making a concours quality carpet kit and sourcing all the missing and broken interior parts. I will be replacing missing dash vents, lower dash panels, rear view mirror and more and I will take you guys all along to show you the progress. This car is anticipated to be completed by end of summer 2024 so stay tuned as we work full steam ahead to make this neglected iconic Ferrari into a show winner. I am primarily focusing our restoration team on hard to restore cars such as Ferrari, Porsche,, Shelby , and anything that is not catalog parts driven such as Muscle Cars, Corvettes etc.. I love the challenge to locate and chase all the missing pieces to make cars exceptional with detail when I am finished. The more challenging the more fun for me personally. Stay tuned for more content on this channel. Any and all restoration inquiries please send directly through our email:

Yeah These projects can be overwhelming at first but ive been doing them for so long nothing scares me anymore. It really takes methodical planning and execution with a solid team to get these restoration’s done right. Patience is one thing i can’t bill out per hour because some things can take forever . Thanks for checking this video out

It's just astonishing how gifted you are and how fun it is to watch these video's. It's a special treat. Here I was so proud of myself because the Service Manager at my local Alfa dealer always compliments how I keep my 2019 Giulia. He says it's always in pristine condition and won't even let it get washed after they service it. I feel embarrassed at the caliber of expertise you put into these cars compared to me just keeping mine clean! 😂 Total Respect Phil, seriously!

Impressive work! I am always astonished by the amount of passion and competence you put in the things you’re doing. Keep it up! BTW: ordered today the Giulia Quadrifoglio - 27 weeks of wait now! 🍀

Thank you very much and congrats on your QV those will be a long 27 weeks but well worth it. What spec did you go with?

@@autofanaticcars I went for Vulcano Black with the lightweights and red calipers + Sparco seats (and your videos helped me out quite a lot in the choice 😀 so thanks!). Was also considering Etna red and Verde Montreal, but I kept it classic :) So I am now also in my second Giulia Q after the MY21. I will be putting the full Supersprint catback once it arrives, since the HQ is 30KM from home here in Italy and I had quite a good experience on my G87 M2. Cannot wait already!!

me personally i love black cars even though Rosso Etna is really amazing. nice do you still have the G87 M2 or your trading it on the new QV? I had a Supersprint headers and full system on my V10 M5 years ago it was incredible sounding.

@@autofanaticcars I actually sold the M2 to a friend of mine and took an RS 3. Overall both great cars, still lacking the soul and drama I need (given that these are all used just as weekend cars). So now I came back to the roots :)

I remember that back in the days there was some rhings factory wanted from buyers. Than it was impossible that anybody could buy Ferrary becauae he have money and thats it. First there qas waiting list, they have check beckgraund of potential owner and if you pass that - there was a achool where they learn you how to drive, maintance and take a care about a car. There were time when respect was above everything, cash cant buy a class ! Thank you for the video and thank you for saving this car ! Respect !

How much did this messed up Ferrari cost? Can such a restoration on a 100k car be profitable? ... or only if patreon funds are used

Amazing some of the Mickey Mouse nonsense one will find on older exotics. Shame but is what it is. Look forward to the series man. Always liked a 328.
