    Hey Nvidia. Do you know what be more useful than a chart that the community has already figured out for a wider selection process of cases that are actually decent?
    A power cable that didn’t need 15cm turn radius that also has a tendency to catch fire 🤷🏻‍♂️

      100% what I was thinking. This SFF standard is a Band-Aid for a bad power cable standard.

      @@muhammadaiman9338 What do you mean standard? The 16-pin 12VHPWR is a standard connector by PCI-SIG, not some jerry-rigged contraption that Nvidia made in the back of a van. It's also backed by multiple brands, including AMD. Nvidia was just first to market with it. Also, lol at "jUst MakE mORe eFFicIENT gPU" as if Ada Lovelace isn't the most efficient architectures we have seen in a while.

    • @jolness1
      @jolness1 3 месяца назад +1

      Moddiy makes a super flexible silicone jacket cable. It’s much shorter than any right angle cable on the market. I only have 15 mm of clearance in my case and about 11 mm just with all the cable falls naturally. There is no right angle cable that would work in my case so I think that that’s not really a great option

    • @yensteel

      The issue is, is that power connectors could be 180 degrees reversed in the other direction. You need the right cable for the GPU, and also take into consideration 2 or 3 6/8 pin connectors. It's best to take a customized approach to power cabling.

    So basically Nvidia took PC Part Picker and Neweggs PC builder and made a standard? I mean both PC builders can tell you then max length of the GPU that will fit based on what case you have chosen already. I see the old THX Certified problem again. Before you know it there is going to be SFF Ready (select) and SFF Ready (Ultra) smh.

    I’m currently in the works of building my first PC and I’ve watched all of your itx builds, your craftsmanship on these itx builds is definitely a great guide for me picking out my hardware. I went ahead and bought a RTX 4070 Super founders edition and I plan on going with the 7800X3D with the ROG B650E-I mb. I’m still debating on the case I’d like to go for, it’s between, A4-H20, NR200P V2 or the NCORE 200. I’m leaning more towards the H20 because of how compact it is and still having good airflow. I see most builders going with liquid cooling so that will be a must for me if I’m to go with the H20. Quietness and good temps are my priority for this itx build. I have Arctic cooling fans as well as Noctua’s as an option if I go with the other cases. I absolutely love the design of the NH-D15 chromax cpu cooler, an absolute eye gem! I love watching these builds and I look forward to learning more before I buy my gear!

    I feel that this idea of a "standard to deviate from" (what ever that starting point is, now we have one), is long overdue, and therefore very good indeed...now we have an "industry-standard", a starting point, point of relativity to compare & thought-experiment through a build process...very good indeed...it is about time, good on Nvidia!...jo'c

    Gigabyte has a 4080 super that allows the power adapter to be plugged into the top of the card, running parallel to the length of the card so that the bend can be more gradual. It's really nice in smaller cases. You don't have to worry about bending the cable at all.
