I couldn’t even finish the test because I kept vomiting this an absolutely traumatizing test. I thought I was getting my barium swallow today but no I had this traumatizing test. If I didn’t have medical trauma before I do now.
Omg did this test yesterday all I can say it’s not fun completely torture (Esophageal Manometry study and right after that test was done I had to do the ph acid reflux study they keep the tube for 24hours through ur nose in your stomach that’s the worst part and specially if the nurse is not so good she did this again and again like 4 times I was about the punch her in the face but this morning the toke out the catheter no fun at all who ever is reading this please prepare your self for worst thing you might have gone through in your life ☹️
People like you are the lowest human beings. Some really sick people need to this test and may read your comment and get scared and skip it and suffer more. What a horrible person.
My heart just keeps thanking you and thanking you Dr Igudia for all you have done for me, you gave me your words that you could heal any sickness or disease, thank you for permanently curing me of my Hepatitis b virus you are amazing
Notice how they don't include the part where they numb your nose and get brain freeze, or putting the torture snake in and out. I just had if done an hour ago. Simply refuse I'm not trying to scare anyone maybe the nurse I had was rough because I've read others who said it was a breeze but when she was removing it she kept pulling but something was pulling against it so it caused intense pressure and some pain. I actually don't know what's the point of this exam other than research. It's not helping diagnose anything really. I had to keep restarting because she said I was stopping in between sips of water but she wanted me to take full cup at once but I couldn't because I was gasping for air. Even when putting in the thing in my nose which looked like led lightstrip my son has in his bedroom 😆 she asked me if it was in my throat yet and I'm like aren't you supposed to know this 😆 I hope everyone else has a more skilled nurse because seems other ppl had a more comfortable time

Why you performed the test in near sitting position? While it is recommended to be performed in supine position

I couldn't get mine done bc it hurt my throat, i was able to swallow it without gagging but for some reason it hurt a lot like it was poking my throat
I have had it done!!! Never again!! I have had two big babies would rather go through labor!!!!!!
