Sequi is definitely the type of Nextbot that is used in a group combo, if there was a Nextbot that moved when you moved then Sequi have a better chance at being useful. They also seem like the type of Nextbot where you put multiple in the map so one can catch you slipping.

I think it'd be cool if they gave Sequi a sort of rage mode that activates if you're moving around for too long at a time, forcing you to pace yourself and stop moving on occasions to avoid whatever nightmares he unleashes when enraged

that would make him turn from meh to absolutely amazing. That rage mode has the be MAD to be worth adding tho.
The rage mode idea could be like everything goes dark and you can’t move and it catches up to you or or it goes very transparent so it’s hard to see it

Sequi needs a distance rule where if he is X hammer units away from you he is allowed to move or teleport. Otherwise he'll continue to struggle with relevancy.
I guess he's a Tertiary Nextbot.
Primaries: obviously Garg or Term who do the main stalking
Secondaries would be Father and Stalkbot who have mechanics that force you to stay on your toes in a different way
Tertiaries would be Silence, Hinn and now Sequi, who by themselves are not comparatively dangerous but provide a unique mechanic that has the potential to sneak up on you while dealing with the other Nextbots.

Sequi and follower would be a devious combo
A fun idea would be a train that picks up speed when it's heading straight (and doing minor movement adjustments) but when full on turning it's awful at it. Now you're probably thinking, what if you just hop in a circle around it? Well maybe it'll stop moving and then charge where you'll 'be' in anticipation.
Yes. If you turn for too long it stops and charges at where you will be after a second.

I think to make Sequi the most effective support Nextbot is if he (when too far away or some other condition) teleported to narrow hallways or doorways. If you came across him while not being chased or with some space between you and your chaser, you would have to try and stand still as to move him out of the way to pass, or just choose a new path if it would be too hard for you to move him without dying.

I think this nextbot would be great if they change the speed to be variable. If your bunny hopping he doesn't move, if your running he is moving at a crawl, if your just walking he's going as fast as you and if you stop moving he moves just fast enough that you can tell he's not teleporting.

Quick fix to this nextbot. Make it's running speed be based on how fast you are moving. It is never completely standing still, it is just slow when you are running, moderate when jogging and fast when walking or standing still. (No need for a fourth type of speed just for standing still. Unless if they add a challenge mode where the bot teleports to you if you ever stop moving.)

I feel like he should have movement speed that is simply the inverse of whatever your movement speed is (with some kind of multiplier, and then a set maximum). So if you walk slowly, he'll be faster than you, but if you sprint, he'll be slower, and if you're still, he's super fast.
I think it should be, the faster your moving, the slower Sequi is, but the slower you're moving, the faster Sequi is. Probably with a top speed similar to when you find Father

imagine a group of different nextbots together that have different mechanics (but simple ones, unlike terminus etc.) that all share the same texture. that would make for an extremely confusing and scary experience.

Tbh sequi does have potential to be a good type of Nextbot in a Nextbot combo situation for example with terminus and that'll make the game a whole lot more stressful and ofc all ohio nextbots r not good from start but it takes time
