I understand why they had to make Donkey Fish smaller, but I feel like Donkey Fish's towering height added to its terror. It felt less like a zombie apocalypse when you were being chased by a bunch of Donkey Fishes and more like a dangerous towering entity with a giant gaping mouth trying to trick you into a sense of security with strange hallucination-like clones that don't hurt you.
The creator also mentioned this, mostly by being against making it smaller in the beginning, but sadly the only way to solve the problem was by making it smaller
Why not just turn off collisions for the upper half?
Or maybe just have the shown png have no collisions with a secondary invisible png that does

@@ninjireal The dev explained it in the comment section of Daxter's last video, but with the way the NPC Base (DRG Base) works, the only way to make his hitbox smaller is to make the actual entity and his image smaller.

I have an idea for a nextbot that perfectly matches father. Essentially, it will find a hiding spot and you have to find it before a timer runs out, at which point it teleports near you and becomes aggressive. Whenever you find it, the timer will reset, and it will quickly run out of sight and teleport away to find a new hiding spot.
Good idea, when trying to find it you might find father.

I think the amount of clones donkey fish makes should be capped. Partly because of lag but also because it seems more balanced and makes you want to avoid the clones more instead of just embracing them since you know they're clones

I think my last comment got removed so I shall repost it.
I will get to work on a low end pc version, but that day is not today. I would like to take a bit of a break, however I do have another nextbot idea which might be nice!
I have made another two nextbots. One being Yummer, a nextbot you can fight, he is buggy at the moment so I wouldn't check that one out. And another being Monolith, the biggest nextbot, he is fully functional and I am quite proud of it :D
Both can be found on my workshop, thank you again for the content!
Are Yummer and Monolith also coded in drgbase?

You should do Viris, Donkeyfish, and Father. Donkeyfish being the constant threat, and Viris and Father there to up the danger so you have to be wary even through you are running away from clones constantly. And for a bigger map, maybe terminus too.

DaxanDaxter was testing a advanced type of donkey fish, this time their clones were more chaotic, as well he theorized donkey fish is omnipresent. The donkey fish was getting him to insanity, till the point he go out of the building, gladly he found a radio, but there was also someone in this place... Father, a lot of insanity drove him to the point of messing with the entities, this ended in father getting very aggresive, rushing to DaxanDaxter with the loudest sound possible.

I think this is the scariest nextbot to get chases by. I dont know what it is about it, but Munci, Terminus, or Gargatron aren't as scary as Donkey Fish. I dont know why but its way more unsettling
At 10:16 the reason you escaped father was because he has code for when he is under the player he teleports to a random place within 10000 hammer units and for some reason when this happens they stop their chasing phase. Gargitron has the same code too.
