When it comes to other maps with navmesh, I would Really suggest Obselisk (sandbox). The map has both open and enclosed areas (with varying light conditions), including underground mazes, corridors, staircases, and the main above-ground structure of the map, which is also full of areas. Only main issue I'd see are the nextbots falling off the more elevated open areas, but such could be avoided by making more extensive use of the lower, scarier levels. But of course, this would only be needed if they indeed keep falling off. Nevertheless, it is a really nice map
Daxan, If you ever get invisible props on maps ever again, use the command r_flushlod. It basically reloads everything on the map while you are in it, hope this solves you're problem

Another thing, TotallyNotDomi created a new nextbot called Abysm. It's a nextbot that lurks in the dark. It has two modes, Normal and Void. Note: It lags your game if you spawn it on a big/gigantic map. Mall parking is safe for it tho.
You are right, the speed-up stuff does kind of ruin it a bit; Terminus wasn't ungodly quick and nimble, but kept you on your toes, which struck a good balance. I will say the sounds for this one are a fair bit more unnerving, though.

I dont think the jumpscare and the speed up mechanic should be disabled by the same button, the jumpscare is pretty cool and i think being able to disable the speed up while keeping the jumpscare would make him a lot more enjoyable

An idea for a nextbot: its pretty much the same as a normal nextbot, but it tries to be seen as little as possible and sneak up behind you, the nextbot moves faster when not in line of sight and when it reaches your back it doesnt kill instantly, it waits for you to turn around and then it jumpscares you(either with an actual jumpscare or a sound effect). It would be creepy since each time you turn around you dont know if youre gonna get jumpscared to see him apporaching you
Tbh nominus is like completly avoiding the point of a nextbot, You kinda have to be able to survive so you get that tiny drop of adrenaline but this guy just comepletly kills you instantly if you are 1 meter away from him because he is able to jump and speed up a ton to kill you no matter what.
Not a fan of Nominus tbh. Not survivable, and the cool little jumpscare effect becomes kinda whatever since you experience it so often. Like you *know* you have no chance when the music starts so you *know* the jumpscare is going to happen. And the game closing every time you die is too excessive. I imagine it probably gets annoying loading back into the game after dying over and over. Cool concept but as of right now really just another one of those superfast nextbots with more bells and whistles imo
with the new speed and other stuff that is due to an upcoming update the creator is adding. I asked what was up with the speed and they said they were adding a difficulty system.
I don't really like how nominus keeps hiding, it doesn't really work well. Other than that it's a good update, might need to slow him down a little bit
I know that you make only nextbot related videos because you feel like transitioning into other things will make people stop watching you but uh, making content on solely a single game will make you lose engagement even more, you could do stuff other than nextbots because they get stale really quick, if you don't want to stop with Gmod though you could still do stuff, but well, in Gmod. this is just what I think
