Thanks for this. I've ordered so many hats from many different provides and i'm always disappointed with the fit. This video helped identify the style I like. I wish there were some photos on your site of hats on heads to get a feel for the look as well.
Been rocking 47 MVP hats for years, the owners 59 fifty is shaped perfectly and "boo's" hat, not a flat brim guy or fitted unless so I always avoided them. Might grab one and see what I can do with it, super interesting video series.
The 5950 looks so boxy looking. But the low profile pre curved 5950 is a fit of perfection. Looks better backwards as well. I found a low profile in a store years ago in my size and I’ll never go back.
@@ChrisWolf75yeah same here. I prefer the curved visor but the low profile 5950 fits almost like the 9Forty. My fat face doesn’t like it 😂. But the recent 9Seventy is better, higher crown but not as high as 5950. The only problem is that it isn’t fitted.

They really are the modern day fedora, you can represent your team or just your State/City I love to rock mine flat billed high full crown, like the dude in the braids does.
i get my hat wet and press it all the way onto my head for like 30-60 minutes or until it dries but that takes forever.. i also roll the bill around inverted up like a raver then curl it back to fit my head with rubberbands. imo fitting your actual head makes them look really good
The real answer is to take every single hat the store has in your size and try them on because they're all going to look and fit slightly different. Some crowns have weird peaks, some bills are a little crooked to one side, etc.

Okay, I gotta big head and I order these hats that look good but when they come in the mail, they fit around my head right but they don't set down on my head far enough. I prefer hat to set down on ears. A bunch of hats aren't deep enough. Top of my head hits Top of cap before cap is down far enough if that makes sense. So how do I make sure hat will fit down on my head far enough?
I want to know what is it about these hats that warrants the $40-50 price tags. They're all made in China these days; how much does it cost to produce one, about $2.50?
