    Do you live closer to the coast in Southern California or more inland? I live in the desert near Palm Springs where temps are well into the 100's a good part of the summer (like now). I'm wondering about water consumption if I have it outside even with the pump.

      Yes I live in Ventura County. The water consumption will be higher if you live in warmer areas but it will still turn out to be significantly less compared to traditional farming methods. However, if you check out their website, they do have a solution for indoor farming too via glow rings that attach to the farmstand - www.lettucegrow.com/shop/glow-rings-4
      Since there’s and additional cost involved with the glow rings, I’d suggest placing the farmstand under a shade rather than direct sunlight and see the progress before you choose to spend more. Hope this helps

      @@virtue-of-randomness Yes, I saw the grow lights. I get a lot of light where I live. Wondering if it would be enough to grow indoors without buying the grow lights. They are pretty pricey.
