@@SlayAtHomeMother Thank you for your prompt response. That code seemed to work. Will pull the trigger after some more reflection. Using your channel for inspiration 😃
You do not need separate brushes for each plant to pollinate. In nature the flowers of many plants, and different ones, are visited by the pollinators. (Beekeeper here 😉). Additionally, if you plant parthenocarpic cucumbers you will not need to do that. That is what is used in greenhouse growing. Tomatoes, peppers, eggplant all have the perfect flower and are wind pollinated. Setting up a fan with a gentle breeze will suffice, and it will also help keep fungus gnats under more control. Good luck! Although long, video is good with quality filming and creativity.
Have a question. I have the nat issue as well but I noticed recently that flies have been starting. Have you seen this and will the peroxide trick work for them too? Nats suck but the flies are gross. I got a plug in light insect killer and that's doing a lot for all of those pests but trying to prevent them.
Love your channel :) Are the mosquito bits harmful to the plants (health-wise)? Since that water will now be filled with the mosquito chemical and then going into the plants we will eat? Thank you!
Thank you! BTI, which is short for Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis, is the active ingredient in Mosquito Bits, and is deadly to mosquito larvae and fungus gnat larvae but harmless to other living things! :) Your plants (and your belly) will be safe, but the fungus gnats will not be (and only they are affected by the Mosquito Bits). I hope this helps :)
@@Aviation_Professional i got them now… anybody know if they’re definitely safe to have water running over all of that plastic foam. They aren’t BPA and I don’t want micro plastic in my food. Anybody know about a non-plastic alternative?
They're made using permanent vinyl, but they can still be easily peeled up and replaced as needed :) So...yes and no! They aren't permanent in that they'll stay forever and I can never change them out, but they're sturdy enough to stay put and get accidentally splashed on, etc.
Thanks so much for watching! Shop the Farmstand here: bit.ly/32cN4x6 to save $50 :) *edited to add $50 referral savings code: FRIEND-SAHM*
I just tried to use your link and there was no $50 discount from LettuceGrow being applied at checkout. FYI, I am looking at the 36 pot farmstand.

For being an hour long video, you did a great job of keeping the viewer entertained! Great editing and voice overs.
Thank you so much!
If you have a lot of natural light coming in you don’t need the lights. Put this on a large dolly and you can rotate it to get max light.
So helpful! You did a great job showing us! Thank you!
I bet those roots would make great compost…
does it come labeled? how did you decide where to place each seedling?
You can buy a concentrated liquid form of pH down you only need to add a few drops and you can also use a pH pen/metre no liquid needed
great content, wish we would have saw it before we purchased..
You have the lights on at night and not in the day?
Great video!
What is the tea drainer use for
How do you decide how much to trim the roots?! So you don’t want them to reach the water?

Do you use your softened water, or do you get it from an outside spicket? (Unsoftened)
Thank you!
Wow! I'm so happy to have come across your page! I love it. Such great advice and ideas 👍🏻💯👏🏼
Thank you!
Where did you say you got label maker and are the labels easy to remove
Hi! I made my labels with my Cricut and some black permanent vinyl I had on hand :)
I'm considering this, over what I currently have. How much water is needed for both 12 & 18 units?
This SO helpful!❤ thank you so much 💓
Happy to help, thank you so much for watching!
What kind of scissors do you recommend to use on the Lettuce Grow?
Do you know if these glow rings harmful for our eyes? Have been trying to find out. Thank you for this great video!
How long would it take for a system like this to pay itself off? If you are using it quite extensively year round?
I'm so curious: did you ever get zucchini from indoor growing? I see on their site it says it's an 'outdoor veg' and I know they get huge. :)
I have a Lettuce Grow Farmstand I was wondering where you found your farmstand labels. Please let me know. Thanks for you channel
Thank you! I actually made mine! I used permanent vinyl and my Cricut machine :)
Can you please let me know what vinyl and where you purchased from?
Where do you get the plant names?

I'm curious how long it takes to recoup your investment in grocery savings or if you ever do.
FOREVER! Trust me I know 1st hand.
Great video, music is a bit too loud, could be 50% of where it is on this one.
I definitely wish I’d watched the assembling video at the beginning before I tried to do it myself. 🤦🏻
I got no thyme for this.
