- Remember the good old days of $0.25 NES games at yard sales, and people throwing away boxes of NES and SNES titles, not knowing what they've got? I thought that was long past, but I found a great score for $10.

Yes to the battery replacement video!
According to Price Chart, for your 31 games and 2 consoles, you have a value of 708$. So not a bad find at all lol.
Ugh, wish I could get that lucky sometimes.
Yup even duck hunt costs 10 bucks now so everything after is clear profit
Same
Holy smokes, what a find! Just that first grab of games paid for the lot 20 times over. Absolutely insane number of quality games and all in decent to great shape.
Insanely jealous that you found this lot! What a huge score brother! 👏 PS I would absolutely watch a video of you replacing batteries. I watch everything you put up.
Yes I would watch a Battery Replacement Video. Lol. Great haul. Amazing for only $10.00.
I was confused when you were saying decals as deckles. I've always heard it as Dee-cals.
ruclips.net/video/2rCTuXAbyTI/видео.html just like Beldar said.
@@TheMr77469 lol. Forgot about that scene.
He's a freaking Canadian. He can't help it.
You should do a room tour .... I would love to see that ... Your collection, your work station ... And of course Kona :)
There was already a tour video some time ago
I would love to watch it. I love watching you open games and consoles. That's why I'm here.
The Super Mario/Duck Hunt WITHOUT the Seal of Quality on the label has actual microchips on the PCB. The one WITH the seal on it has 4 black blobs on the PCB. The reason for the change is due to cost reduction and an increase in production speed.
Congrats on that pick up! Finds like those are few and far between these day, especially with lots that have great games like that.
I've been looking forward to a new video from you. Absolutely awesome score here. These videos are always entertaining for me, I agree with doing the battery replacement video for sure.
WOW! That's a great haul you got there. I would be interested in seeing a video on replacing NES battery's and where to buy them.
My brother picked up a huge lot of boxed Super Nintendo games and a boxed mint console with other stuff for £160 and he sold it all on eBay and made over £1000 from it as he had some rare games all in great condition! He got so lucky like you did,
From the amount of bandito video carts he probably bought it from them when they went under
Most likely the case
I'd like to see you remove all the marker and overlay stickers without damaging the carts. I struggle with this. I'm scared to do it and risk ruining my cartridges.
Two freaking consoles AS WELL!!!... Never seen a pick up even close to this for that price... insane...
what a great score for 10 bucks. Yes to the battery video!
Keep the videos coming I love these. Yes battery replacement and maybe switch it up like use wick on one and a manual pump on another so others can see the advantages of each type?
@ RetroRepairs, I've been professionally restoring and protecting games for over 15 years. I'd like to give you some friendly advice on the batteries & advocate against it for preservation. There's few reasons why you absolutely SHOULD replace them. The first is obvious, if any of the batteries is showing signs of leakage, replace for sure to avoid corrosion of board or chips. Also, unless they pose a significant power loss after checking their voltage with a multimeter, or by losing saves after hard power flashing a game (make a save, and rapidly power on/off 10-15 times to see if it will hold.) there is no reason why a battery should be replaced and will lose value within any respectable collector. Keep them in as long as they hold a charge. I've had LOZ 5 screw batteries still holding up in 2020 with no problems. Most don't need to be replaced.
Enjoyed the video! Great score
Dragon Warrior IV had great graphics and an incredible storyline, a real joy to play.
Dude are you kidding I would watch 10 hours of you repairing stuff
(Nice haul, that DW4 damn)
Def interested in that battery video. Do it up, bud!
Yes! Go for it! 7 battery replacement video!
Yeees! I think you sould do all the battery replacements (I'd absolutely watch it!). I think it would be really interesting, giving there are more chances to find different problems or issues on all the cartridges.
By the way, great content. You even got me started with the "repair retro stuff" :) keep up the good work Adam!
Gonzalo
Nice score! Gotta love great deals
I'm part of a group that works on preservation and development of multiplayer and MMO games. I'm also a licensed amateur radio operator.
It's depressing what people outside of both hobbies will throw away, not realizing the value of the items.
Someone I know definitely took good care of their system, they still have boxes and manuals for some of their games.
That's Awesome to hear.
I wish I had your luck! Any good listing I find here literally within 1-3 mins of listing its claimed. Pretty much people just sit on Facebook marketplace and continuously refresh the page so it’s almost impossible to get a good find
Basically this. COVID has really heated the market up. Prices have skyrocketed.
Dude you need to put "I buy games" ads up. Make people find you. You're wasting your time looking around Facebook or Craigslist. Deals like in the video are basically winning a small lottery.
Nice shot!
I want to be the lucky guy sometimes. Gread find :)
thank you for your videos
Congrats on great score... I'm jealous.
That was a great haul for the price! Yes, please go ahead and do the battery replacements.
Amazing lot!
Man that’s got to be the pick up of the year! There are definitely some real bangers in there!!!
Holy crap - what a steal! Good on you. I would definitely like to see a video on replacing the batteries in those cartridges; I am curious about how well kept they have been through the past 30+ years. Looks like they are in great condition externally, but the innards tell the true story. Also, SKOL! (from a sad Falcons fan)
So many good memories in that box!
I am ABSURDLY jealous. I'd have happily paid 10x that for the DW series alone.
For anyone that wants to repair the blinking light 72 pin connector problem... You need to bend the TOP row of pins down with a needle just very slightly. You'll need some bright lighting to see them and take your time. Then run a toothbrush through it with alcohol. Do not waste your time with any other methods. I've repaired hundreds with a 95 percent success rate.
This is an awesome find.
I love hauls like this;
Yeah that would be nice...
Need to see if any of my modern games need replacing. Well for the battery I mean.
Welcome back!!!
Nice video! Would love to see some battery replacements done!
That's a HAUL dude. nice!!
Crushed it! So jealous and also a bit curious about what did end up in the trash. I'll pretty much watch any video you put out, so I say make one for the battery replacement.
The last good deal I got on ebay was about 5 years ago. I ran across a listing for 5 N64 games at a $65.00 buy it now. One of the games was Super Bowling(game only). I jumped right on that one. You can't find one of those on ebay now selling for less than $350. BTW, Adam, if you want to get the marker off of the carts, use a dry erase marker of any color over it then just wipe it off. Works 1st time most of the time but sometimes it takes 2 applications. My tip of the week to your many subscribers.
Of course we want to see a battery replacement video!
If I had came across this for $10 at a yard sale, I think I would have literally loaded that box in the car so fast and sped off like I just commited a robbery or before the grandkid starts running out or something 🤣🤣🤣
Wow what a score.... Dragon warrior 4 alone just sold for 156€ a few days ago on eBay...
I very much agree with @ILikeWaffles to see a replacement of the batteries, mostly because you might find something else going on! Or even broken inside and be able to show us how to repair that! Also by watching your videos Adam, I figured out how to repair my guitar pedal so it could actually take a battery!!! So every video you put out it extremely helpful keep making them, also Merry Christmas man!
Wow. I'd lose my mind to find a deal like that. Here on long island, that box would be 400 bucks!
With this pandemic it’s a timely find with all gaming conventions shut down not everyone has the opportunity to sell or trade what they have and not to many people feel comfortable with giving stuff to charity with rules on quarantine stuff has to be left before it can be sold just having stuff lying around won’t make money so finding all this for a great price is good yes this pandemic is bad but it dose have it’s rewards getting a great score like this
Emulation is free and so are the ROM’s. Don’t understand this weird obsession with old technology that barely anyone wants
Wow! Just.... Wow!
Wow that guy really needed to check online before he sold that.
I think he just couldn’t be bothered, since he said that this box was “the one that didn’t fit in the bin”
@@Big_Mara_100 I know, but that lot was £500 all day long on eBay
I will very much enjoy a battery replacement video
Wow what a deal
Dude wtf?!?! You got ALL the Dragon Warriors?!?! My dude you'll be getting mad bucks ig you sell those even with the writing!
I both played and watched Golgo 13. I have to get it on VHS.
I'd watch the battery replacement video! Would like to see a video diagnosing the two NES consoles as well.
I would watch a battery replacement video quick or long. Love your content
Yes we want that video
I like your videos so I'd like to see the batterie replacement as well.
Glogo 13 was a favorite game of mine. It had first person in it and everything. Its also an anime thats great too. Also yes ill watch a battery video.
awesome video i would watch a video replacing the batteries
Wow incredible
Nice pickups for the price. A battery swap vid would be cool as well.
I want to see a battery replace video!
You got very lucky with this box
What a steal 😲
I would totally watch battery replacements!
Heads up, when you show the Facebook post the section you use to blur the location and names seems to fade before the post itself, giving a few frames of information visible. Not sure if you're worried about this or not. Great find though!
you got a hell of a deal on that stuff $10
10? Relay? Well. That a lot of luck) I buy a Bubsy poster for 10 few days ago XD
I find it interesting that you got Wheel of Fortune, but not Jeopardy!
Yeah, I'd watch a battery replacement vid.
And thats one hell of a find.
Wouldn't mind seeing a battery swap on the carts. What a hell of a deal though for 10 bucks! I'm not jealous at all ;)
wow, what a steal
Yes, I would watch that battery video.
I would happily watch battery replacements. Any way we can get more content, more regularly!
lol people want like $90 for Dragon Warrior IV on eBay, I just looked. Awesome haul.
Drsgin warrior iv is one of my favorite games I would love to have a physical copy of it I cant believe someone sold this stuff so cheap
Look at what theyre selling for, not whats listed. I could list a game for $300, doesnt mean its worth that.
There are two versions of mario/duckhunt. One has the Nintendo entertainment system logo in the middle and some have them at the bottom
I would like to see you do the battery replacements Adam👍
Not sure about you, but I love the video store stickers and labels. Make me wonder on how many weekends was spent trying to beat that rental game before it is due back.
👍🏻 To battery replacement vid.
WHAT A SCORE!!!!
I'd watch a video on battery replacement. I own a few games I know rely on a battery save, but have no idea how to repair that. It would be nice to learn how.
Yes I would watch you replace all batteries
CrysTalis , the sword in the middle of the name is a letter T......
I have a blinking light win and it's a big pain in the butt getting the games out
here in the u.s. that bundle would be posted for $175 and it would just sit there cause they wouldn't take a lower price. in virginia it would be listed for 200+
@SysPowerTools when buying any retro games and consoles, the idea is to get the lowest price possible. 175 would be the going rate or starting price
@@game_master_rukia Nah. $175 is still a great deal. Of course you want to buy it at the cheapest price, but come on; this isn't the early 2000's anymore. Finding deals like in the video are very rare.
Free online because emulators are better. I have almost every game on a hard drive 😂
Yay, hes back!
Definitely do the battery replacement video.....
I'd like to see a video for all the batteries
Battery replacement would be cool to watch.
I miss all the non-rev a cartridges those were my favorite versions of nes games.
No hatorade or shade but you robbed that person dry for $10 lol and im still questioning whether or not you really got it for that price. I need some of that luck.
So very jealous! Alberta doesn't have those types of deals anymore.......
Those consoles might work if you just insert the cartridge without pushing it down; that's how mine was before I replaced the connector with a Blinking Light Win.
Your dog is cute.
