      ​@@konigwheels in fact, i do. prepare yourself for a paragraph or two...
      using this video, i worked out what combinations of width and offset i can put on my 2009 honda accord (european market) which will fit in the wheel arch. i noticed that the offset required to maintain the outbound position as close as possible to stock (to maintain distance between outbound wheel position and inner wheel arch) is extremely hard to do without stock wheel specs. this is because the offsets required are values ive never seen on the market.
      why do i want this fitment? because i want to minimise rubbing risk. when i say rubbing risk, i am not only talking about rubbing horizontally (e.i. rubbing the side of the tyre) but also vertical rubbing (e.i. rubbing the top of the tyre on suspension compression.)
      please see below my calculated list:
      all measurement are of front, can provide rear.
      7.5J ET55 (stock - 10 mm outbound, 30 inbound)
      8J ET60 (+1.65 mm outbound, -1.65mm inbound)
      8.5J ET65 (+2.7 mm outbound, -2.7mm inbound)
      8.5J ET70 (-2.3 mm outbound, +2.3mm inbound)
      as you can see, fitment ranges from 55 to 70. i have not personally seen this on the market but maybe im not looking hard enough. either way, i am beginning to think that i am going to need to go flush or beyond the wheel arch if i am going to get any after market wheels. so that brings me onto my current concern...
      for some reason, i dont see people considering suspension compression when deciding fitment. i find this to be a problem because if i am going through a pot hole, i dont want to have the anxiety that i am gonna blow my wheel through my wheel arch.
      my question, plain and simple: why isn't suspension compression/travel talked about when deciding wheel fitment?
      apologies if this was hard to digest, i did my best. any help is appreciated

      ​@@redcloud4741 HAHA! We got you. Let me see if I can quickly answer your comments without taking to much of your time. It appears your math is based on a very OE, conservative type of fitment. And while your math may be correct, I do think as you started to get into a wider width, you may end up with some contact inbound on the suspension. In my "opinion" your fitments are a bit too conservative for most aftermarket wheels, especially in 5x114.3 which is why you are having trouble finding these types of specifications. To comment on your point of movement vertically on compression, just remember that as your suspension compresses you tend to get more camber so the path way is a bit more ark shape then extremely vertical up and down. With that said, if you're looking for a more aggressive stance and your not lowering your vehicle much, you also will have some more room to play. Take a look on tirerack.com. They do a great job to make sure their wheels suggested when you choose your vehicle fit and even tell you what size tire you should pair it with. The look and fit is up to each vehicle owner. Thankfully the internet allows you to see all types of fitments before you ever buy a wheel, and if you're looking for something specific, I would utilize this resource to improve your confidence pre-purchase!       @@konigwheels ok, that makes sense about the fitment being conservative.
      Ahhhhh yeahhh... of course, about the wheel travel with suspension. i dont know how i missed that, haha. it travels on a hinge so in an arc... got it!
      i have already taken your advice and have gone onto a forums where ive found a guy who has done the exact same thing i want to do so talking with him. (isnt the internet an amazing tool!)

    What wheel and tire size you recommended on a 2022 Kia sorento sx with 245/55/20x8.5 ET54 inbound space 1-1/2” outbound space 1/8” I’m feeling a lot the bumps on my car and I want a soft ride and little by aggressive tires all season
