My brother in law lent me his switch for a while, i just realized i have no idea of how to charge it, i don't have his number and my sister is traveling so this really saved me 😅
Question, while in the dock, does the Switch need to be turned on in order to charge the battery? Also, will the joy cons charge as well, while attached to the switch?
@nine_tails137 I think it is easier to keep the charger in the dock and that's how you charge it, Looks better and less risk of scratching your switch.
@@CarCraze-ue8fk I see. Cause I've been charging my Switch out of the dock, with the joy cons attached so both fully charge. I didn't think I could charge both when turned off and placed in the dock?
But how in the world do you check the battery while it's docked? I can't exactly remove the console several times just to check that since it uses a new charge cycle each time.
My Nintendo switch oled doesn’t charge with the dock anymore but it charge without the dock I don’t know where I press , can I get a help from you thanks 😢
so about the charging box with cables and everything does that have to be plugged into a TV or there's a separate charger where I can connect it to an outlet and charge it from there
when u charge the switch into the dock...the dock should have a green light saying its charging? what happen the green light turns off while charging? what does that means?
I lost my original switch charger and am now using a Type-C charger, but now i can’t use the dock because i need an original switch charger from the box when i brought it. Any solution for this? For context, when i use the dock, a message pops up along the words saying “Cannot connect to TV. Use the AC adapter supplied with the switch.”

You won't really, but I'm pretty sure that when it is done charging it will automatically stop charging
thank you, didnt know about plugging directly to switch without dock
Hi! At what percentage should I charge my switch? Is it good to drain it first before charging or not? Thanks so much!
If you can you should drain it but if it gets overheated remove it from charging typically this happens most as summer or warm places

Also, will the joy cons charge as well, while attached to the switch?
No and yes, you can put it in sleep mode and it will charge and the joycons will also charge, hope this helps
@@CarCraze-ue8fk Oh okay, so it's better to just plug it into the power cable to charge it?
