- Join us in this episode of The Tenant as we explore the couple's move to Mumbai, driven by Bal Thackeray’s quota for Kashmiri Pandits. During the COVID-19 lockdown, they found a sunlit refuge in Goregaon, a vibrant neighborhood with a historic building designed by Hafeez Contractor. Despite rumors of hauntings, they've found the residence to be welcoming. Renting here for 3 years, they enjoy the convenience of nearby transport and the city's cultural vibrancy, making Mumbai their preferred home despite past challenges.

Good to hear people still acknowledging contribution of Balasaheb Thackeray....specially SIKHS during 1984 and Kashmiri Pandits in the early 90's.....!!!

Why u put music in between conversation... nothing is audible what u guys are talking
Apart from being loud & deafening the choice of music is terrible. It could be something soft & soothing
I request this program to kindly avoid hard sounds while taking video we want to listen conversation. Sound also plays an important role but it should not disturb communication
50k rent for a 1000 square feet home is a great deal for a location like Goregaon East, Yashodham. It's a beautiful locality with all key amenities nearby and good connectivity to other parts of Mumbai
100% agreed!
Good to see Shally here. Shally was my senior in college, D J Sanghvi College of Engineering Vile Parle West.
The importance of माननीय श्री बाळासाहेब ठाकरे is realized by every Kashmiri Pandit in Mumbai, especially the ones which got Engineering seats here in Sardar Patel, VJTI, Thadomal Shahani, DJ Sanghvi etc. The OG Lion King of Mumbai! 🎉 🎉
Yes we studied in DJ Sanghvi :)
I wanted to pay my respects to him
Balasaheb Thakeray went against a lot of ppl to do a lot for Hindus- and kashmiri pandits! tht was the time when when pandits faced a lot of hardships and Balasaheb tried whtevr he could to relieve pain to them ! Jai Maharashtra!
He was true lion
Balasaheb Thackeray was the OG lion of Bombay!
Loud background music killed what would have been a great video. Please take peoples feedback seriously
I lived around that area I think they got a very good deal of 50,000 rent that too in a very premium building of goregaon east. Best of luck for the good couple.
thanks Anuj
Good episode, marred by poor audio. The background music is the culprit, making it difficult to follow the conversation, especially when Ashish (who has a deep voice) was speaking. Hope "The Tenant" works on this irritant.
mic quality is not good on the male tenant. his audio is not clear
This background music is quite bothersome!
The background music is a bit disturbing.
Nice episode as usual...
At least some people acknowledged the contribution of Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thakare, in their life...
And love Mumbai.....
One suggestion....🎉
The audio was not clear...
I think background music is a little overpowering ....

Thank you!

What is the purpose of shooting the episode with such high background noise. I barely saw it for 2 minutes and ended up.

😢😢i could feel her when she said she wanted to own a place.. 'displaced' is hiding lot of horror stories subjected to kashmiri pandiths. God bless her with permenent abode.

When I was growing up in malad , we could see these buildings from link road .. these were the only towers around and they were unoccupied for a long long time …. And yes , that bhoot story is for real … all of us used to beleive these were haunted towers …. These were topped out but left unfinished for a very long time , like 15-20 yrs and thats when everyone just came up with this bhoot story cause we didnt know the real reason they were unoccupied
The reason is that the builder wanted the prices of the flats to rise before selling so he floated these bhoot stories

This building and nearby 3 more buildings were haunted as per rumours 😅 I heard it too
