The training montage in Rocky 4 is the best. Soundtrack too.
The "Eye Of The Tiger" refers to the edge, hunger and the desire that usually an underdog athlete possesses in order to achieve a goal. Nearly sacrificing his own life to succeed and make it to the top.
In the first film, the Eye was something that Apollo once had before he became champ and something Rocky retained.
In this movie, Rocky becomes "civilized" after having achieved his goal and makes him a softer man as Clubber Lang now gains the Eye. Clubber was hungry like Rocky was years before, so he had to start from scratch to receive his focus again while maintaining the good life.
And a catchphrase is born:
"I pity the fool"

With what Mick told him, he didn't train properly and Mick dying, Rocky never stood a chance against Clubber Lang. Adriane has become a strong woman and their relationship only stronger because of it. I was crying with you when Mick died, seen this movie hundreds of times and I still cry every time.
